  1. I have a singular question for you devs. It is a CLOSED end question cuz it ONLY requires a Yes or No answer. In all the time i have played this title you devs have pushed all this new content and features while leaving long standing glitches and errors in the game. Over and over again you push new content which is awesome. This latest expansion is no less impressive. the story is cool, the imagery is hot, costumes and stuff are cool, but ONCE again you have use sucking up your broken down non-functioning product. So here is my question. Is EA/Bioware ever going to provide its long standing and paying subscribers with a functioning game that actually works as intended or what?
  2. clearly you guys are tired of developing new content or even in providing a variety, every couple weeks rakghoul is bull to the sheet. for realz its beyond old! What in the name of the empresses touch-hole makes you guys think making the fleet a infected zone every couple weeks is a good idea. Heres what it does, it means i wont go to fleet to get missions or leave my sh cuz i am so over having to buy vaccines to avoid that stupid bs event. here's a novel idea new content for events or omg here's one for you ... maybe more time between foisting this bs event on the entirety of the player base. So sick of this constant replaying of the rakghoul nonevent...... get an original idea, anything hell even nothing for a week would be better than that stupid crap. imo of course.
  3. ok this may just be to commonsense to be able to be done. Why the bloody h. e double hockey stix do you insist on interrupting every single conquest weeks start with this friggin patch nonsense. OK MONDAYS are NON conquest days, WTH are patches not done on Mondays? Here are the reasons i feel it is not done on Mondays..... 1. cuz ea cant figure out that Mondays would be more convenient tot he playing base especially those actively involved with guild play and conquest. 2. cuz ea cant be asked to understand that timing is everything they insist on interrupting the day time playing hours of their players instead of like other devs doing maintt. during odd off peak hours as to not interrupt their players normal daytime playing schedules. 3. cuz ea are recalcitrantly attatched to their awful ways of doing things instead of trying to work with the players. If i am all wrong you must show by way of evidence not just accusation that i am wrong. prove me wrong i dare you ea? I been playing ea games for years and the fact is i know i am right.
  4. so when i load the game i get the log in screen and since last maint. i have had old outdated ads for the hk release. seriously that is old can we get up to date stuff?
  5. Ok i have put up with this refuse long enough. Ok Long ago i suffered the ignorance of what you call an event called rakghoul, it was stupid when released and you have done nothing to improve it. But now you re-release it on a regular week long basis. During which i refuse to participate in its bs line of quests. However you have decided in your ignorance to make it unavoidable to me as i have to suffer a week of being infected on the fleet as i await pvp ques. Here is the deal why do you put a damn kiosk up to allow ppl to opt into this rubbish "event" when you will allow the players to foist it upon us who have opted out.....Bottom line fix that stupidity i do not wish to participate in your event, and am sick of being hampered by your weekly victims of this piss poorly executed event.
  6. What an utterly interesting line of conversation. Thus far i took a single toon and jumped her ahead from ch9 of the previous story line to the new line and ran her through an extensive survey of the physical realms we get to explore. While this run through was conducted in story difficulty so as to best get a lay of the land as it pertains to environments and story I was impressed by the richness, depth, continuity, quantity and quality of the story lines in the story cut scenes, the quest lines, the conversations available with NPCs, as well as the ingame mail system. I too was stuck by a notion that while i saw numerous story line opportunities developed in the story and such i was also left with a feeling of ultimate finality; maybe that is a result of killing the eternal spirit of one of the last and most powerful pure siths, but none the less it is there and real. I have considered that compelling us to such emotional contortions is in part at least intended and to my great pleasure was one of my most satisfied great expectations with the writing team they used on this story. KUDOS None the less it is a great question, is this an end, or is this just another episode 100 * (comic ref.) experience intended to close one chapter and set the scene for the next.
  7. for what its worth and i expect that aint much. I for one am disgusted, repulsed and wholly dissatisfied with having yet another filthy light side aligned companion foisted upon me under the guise of reward, HTH is another filthy corrupted hypocrite lightsider infecting my most glorious and honorable dark legacy a reward and NOT a punishment. I worked long and hard on numerous servers in hopes of adding another Noble darksider to my eternal Alliance, but no screw me and my personal plans and schemes for MY gaming experience. The victorious armor set is basically useless for all my sith toons, i mean seriously; least you could of done was given allignment appropriate "rewards" instead of cookie cutter reward/punishments for game factors quite literally beyond the control of the indiviual premium players control. Especially since the last two years worth of released content has driven the game into a more individual experience wholly and completely negating the co-op gaming experience in story. A piece i miss dearly from the original content story line, esprcislly on rp servers man, come on. I know the communtiy is huge, and the endeavour od developing content that is enjoyable, challenging and has a playablility that will allow tolerance of grinding; as grinding is now an intensely integral part of the game is immense and challenging, but seriously guys if your going to run rp servers then you have to kinda keep the content viable in that venue setting. huh!?! Can you recognize that if your creating a system that makes endless grinding for com pts a necessity that it might be prudent, hell even beneficial to give lil things like this more attention as it pertains to the general moral and overall health of the servers and players satisfaction in general with the exchange. and thus i will end my rant. I dunno bout stuff being nerfed, I rarely let such bother me, not being a top player in any facet of the game i enjoy less stress and pressure to preform and am able, imho to more readily enjoy the story, environment, and repetitive tasks at hand. ok, First off, maybe its because i am older than the average gamer, but i am reduced once again to sore tummy chuckles reading these forums and recognizing that gamers as a rule are quite a bit like my 20 yr old son, they are spoiled entitled children that refuse to be placated or pleased reusing any gives and denying any thing that is given to them instead preferring to ***** piss and moan until they find the ultimate exploits which they will then use to oppress other gamers who have not yet found such exploits. Bottom line there is no such thing as pleasing a gamer, it can not be done. maybe if you tailored a game specifically for a specific individual and then they would still complain as they would want a victim. On the issue of pvp gear and story gears and the like. About damned time they did this.......OMG i been playing for a while. I for one am damned sick of carrying up to 4 specific sets of armors and maintaining same sets in up to date augs and the like....****! so sick of that nonsense. Ok first flaw of the various armors system. it causes an unsurpassable and unfair advantage to those that have been in game longer than new players, this advantage while earned in a sense creates an environment that limits rather than grows the pvp community. New players have shown over the years and across numerous game platforms tht they will not participate in a pvp system that is not placing them on level grounds with their competitors. and lets be honest how fair is it to allow longer playing customers to pawn stomp new paying playters stacking their stats with hollow kills of non geared toons all the while encouraging trolling taunts that also reduce the community viability of a faiir and growing pvp system. Are you really the baddest pvper in the game or just the punk *** who made it to the top of the hill first? most likely the latter is true for most. Bottom line: one gear to kill them all is best for the game and the community even if it hurts the feelings of our special snowflake pvp community. Bout time they got forced to battle from a level playing field. poor didums.
  9. ok you mentioned the whole of my problem in the depths of manaan fp issue. that is my whole issue, i have completed that manaan mission 9 times and it wont give me the credit. you mention a work around could you link me? you are right, i am frustrated, i am frustrated becuz i am not getting str8 answers and have patiently filed reports and tickets and keep getting the whole line i mentioned above with no realistic fix in sight. But again you mentioned a work around that i have neither heard of or read about so plz a link??? As a rule i have not had many issues with cs they are generally very quick to fix things i have dealt with thus far. this is the first time i have experienced such from them, this is yet another reason i am frustrated i am accustomed to a certain level of expedience from the cs team here, as in the past i have received what i consider to be much better service then i have gotten in this issue esp if there is a work around for my issue and they have been just giving me the push off.
  10. So for over a month now i have been trying to get support to tell me why i am not getting my DvL rewards for the DvL event. I am stuck at the champion level even though i did all the work and quests to have completed both champion and eternal levels of the event and should be working on my legendary status. But alas i can NOT, becuz we cant get silly fp mission tracker fixed. And support thinks im buying that no player on any server is getting past the champion level so i should just sit back letting them NOT fix the issue. Not getting my champion level pay out is stopping me from getting my eternal payout, both have been earned. Also not getting my champion level payout means my 1-50 event toons have to progress with incomplete leveling armor even though i did all the work to have the full set. I am sorry support a quick read of the forums lets me know you have been misleading me by the best case scenario, and str8 up lying to me in what i believe to be the reality of the situation. Fix the dam event! or shut it down til it works, its not fair to force your paying clientele to suffer your poorly made work product with no regard for the reasonable expectation their subscription payments entitle them to and all while they are being pushed off and bull******* by cs' that wont even deal with them in reasonable good faith with an honest answer. Can you tell i am disgusted with the lack of integrity in your replies to me yet? I am NOT mad that the game has a glitch. The fact that it has a glitch and its stopping my event is only frustrating the part that pisses me off is being lied to and pushed off by cs. Now then, can we your customers who pay their subs in good faith get an honest answer to a reasonable request for a realistic timeline for a fix for the event, as well as how you will make up this major hold up to your player base / paying customers who paid you in good faith reasonably expecting to receive a working product for their entertainment? Thank you in advance for your time and effort in this matter, your gamer, the rage.
  11. so with the release of 4.7 they have still NOT fixed the flash point mission bug i still am not getting credit for depths of manaan, and as such am not being granted my event completions!!! can we get an actual and reasonable time line for this bug fix???? I filed tickets and bug reports and was told it would be fixed with 4.7 obviously that is NOT happening. So how about a reasonable time line, and compensation, since this issue has persisted for more then a month and you have failed to provide a fix in more then reasonable time. Some doo dad decoration or sumthing would be cool and show your good faith and certainly prolong our continued tolerance.

  13. ok so i loved the fallen empire story itself but the fact is that new story came with a game that had been dumbed down to such a state that i was able to sweep the whole new story line with a healing sorc using no heals at all for anything and using (for the most part) only force storm as an offensive. never once had to use a heal, and im a healer.....sad sad sad. This new patch is promising as it brings a small modicum of challenge back to the game it is so refreshing to have to think about what im doing instead of just sitting back spamming force storm. So kudos boys and girls your headed back in the right direction. Still see that artifice skill is screwed over, needs to be fixed. i only have info n that one skill as it is the only crafting skill i have really tried to mess with....it is broken. I gathered the hell out of res up to like 130 for my gathers before starting to work the artifice line i grabbed the two level 3 hilts as the guide suggests and made them then reversed them to get my prints, now i have an artifice skill of like 59 and not a single skill vender on the fleet or any planet has any more hilts for me to get....odd that is the main item in the line of creatables for artifice. do we have a time table for when this will be fixed, my ticket was forwarded and as usual closed with no discernible action taken. At this time i would like to point out how lack luster the "paid customer support" is for this title. guys you really need to work on this, tickets take days to get any action and then 90% of the time tickets are summarily closed with lil to no action taken, this is certainly not a good faith effort on your part to provide your customers with what you term as a paid perk; customer support is an advertised paid perk, and honestly you dont provide support for anything other then payments and log fails, that is total bs that you only support the mechanisms that enable us to coin and the rest of the glitches are ignored. Now then back to the good stuff. this patch is pretty cool in how it has tamed the companions. they were way over powered at first. and regardless of what you say it is not lost on me that this nerfing of the gameplay difficulty came with your level 60 tokens and your new launch of the new level 60 start game. It is painfully obvious to me that you essentially made 60 the new level 1 and the rest of the game is now mute to all but the die hard star wars fan boys and girls. Can we expect anytime soon that the level 60-65 progression will some day become difficult or at least a little challenging as far as game play goes.
  14. i can not and did not intend to imply that they said it would be the same leveling experience. that was not my intent. i was under the impression from their posts that following the purple lines would keep us on par, (on par with the local npcs, and levels of npcs.) not that we would level as fast per say but that it would stay in line. after reaching level 12 i was sent to the justicar section, upon my arrival my brand new level 12 toon was confronted with justicars ranging in level from 13-15 at the entrance. this gives me pause, because at level 12 there is a distinct limit to what i have been exposed to yet to do to level. I think the key to what i missed compared to their post was i have not of yet at level 12 tried nor completed any heroics.
  15. to your point sir i am in fact only trying to test their assertion that just doing purple missions would be enuff. i suspected that heroics would be required, i actually suspected that we would have to do everything available to remain on par to what we experienced int he past. and after massing around in it i am more convinced that the game has gone full on uber grind. Again please understand i do not have a problem with having to play more of the game to grow, but the actual reality of what that means is quite a bit more then they alluded to and what i expected. compound that by the effect it has on agro in following the purple on ly path and you get uber frustration very fast. for instance from the top of level 11 to gaining level 12 i had to complete 4 story missions. mob fights included, which becuz of the skewed agro is substantially more then i have had to fight on any other toon. Again these are just observations of the realit of the new game dynamics.
