No, but if the item started as blue, not as green, you can RE the first purple (Redoubt, Critical, or Overkill prefix) to get a purple [superior] item.

Note, that is still purple. There is an item level above purple. I forget what it's called, but you can see it as a filter option on the GTN.

Yes, you can get one of three upgrades in your tier 1 upgrade (which will make a green into a blue, or a blue into a purple), and from each of those upgrades you can get one of five tier 2 upgrades (turning a blue purple, or a purple into "advanced purple"). There is a pretty good guide about it stickied in the forum, the relevant part:

I didn't have any problem rebinding \ to /reply. I think it may not have overwritten the "Toggle Customer Support Pane", and I may have had to go in and unbind it manually, but it's at the bottom of the interface binds.

Any moddable rifle will work just fine for whatever level you are. The barrel mod controls the rifle's DPS.

unbind "\" from the open support page bind. I am currently using \ for my "/reply" quick key.

If you include Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 as novels and fan fic....maaaybe. KOTOR 2 was all about grey Jedi. It may have a little influence on this game.

This! My windows 7 install is 30gb. The client install for SWTOR is 18.5GB. Not a whole lot of space for anything else.

My physical copy shipped UPS ground yesterday at 3pm. Picked it up off the front porch this morning.

I went into the keybinding options, under interface, and unbound the customer support key. Then rebound \ to reply. Worked for me.
