I'm working on a spreadsheet to find out how much it takes to build a complete 14 piece set of legendary gear, and have a few questions: 1) You need 94 ancient tomes, which cost 100K plus 65 relics of Ossus each. That's a total of 6,110 of these relics plus almost 10 million credits. Is there still a weekly cap of 250 relics, plus an overall cap of 1,000? Can you buy ancient tomes during the week to keep the running total below 250 but the actual number well above that? 2) You need a total of 28 of the various forgotten items, which sell for well above 100 mil credits on GTN. How easy is it to collect these the old fashioned way in game play? How many drop at a time, and where do they drop? 3) You need 364 charged matter transubstantiators, plus an additional 56 for the augments. The price has come down on these but they are still 750K credits best price on GTN. How hard would it be to collect all 420 in game play?
  6. I recently inherited the guildmaster role in a dead guild, and I've been building it up into an active guild. The members all want to focus on group play including a bit of role play. Where can I find an overview of group options in SWTOR? I'd like to organize some flashpoints or ops but keep in mind a lot of the members are relatively low level. There are a few of us at level 70, but I assume we can join in a low level FP/op and just get nerfed. Is that correct? What would you recommend for a group mostly in the teens or twenties level range? 30-40's?
  7. Thank you all for the answers so far. Here's some more questions: 1) How do you send messages to the guild? The officers? 2) I've renamed all the ranks to better suit the guild. Is everyone above the lowest rank considered an officer? If not, how is that determined? 3) Is there a guide for all the cool little things you can do? I managed to invite someone into my group, but couldn't disband the group. I found the option of kicking the other player out, but that seemed kind of rude. Is that the way it's done? Also, other players salute and do all sorts of cool stuff. Where can I learn about that aspect of the game? It seems like tribal knowledge. Is that the case?
  8. Fully unlocked? Does that mean all the rooms are unlocked, or do they have to be outfitted? Can I have 6 strongholds with all rooms unlocked but otherwise completely empty?
  9. I was reading through the tutorials, hoping to find out more about flag ships and guilds in general. On one of the stronghold pages it says "With all four strongholds fully completed, you'll earn +100% Conquest points." What are the 4 strongholds? Guild flagship? Guild stronghold? Personal stronghold? Legacy stronghold?
  10. Thank you all for the great info. As usual, every answer breeds two more questions, so here are mine: 1) A few of the guilds I am in with other characters have websites on discord. Is this the best option? What other choices are there for easy to create guild chat rooms? 2) How do we start getting guild commendations? 3) I see 6 perks available on my flagship. How many need to match to get a set bonus? Can we get more than one set bonus? 4) Flagship plans look to cost 50 dark projects, but it also mentions they can be obtained from enemy commanders across the galaxy. Are these plans worth 50 dark projects? Or should we get them from enemy commanders exclusively? How important are flagship plans, and what benefits do they give? 5) The guild window shows conquest leader lists. How do you get the conquest points, and are these lists just for bragging rights or are the rankings important?
  11. I started a new Imperial character some time back and was immediately invited to a guild, which I joined. I did not play the character for several months, then just got back to it recently. I noticed there was nothing going on in the guild. I looked into it, and there are only 8 members. I've never seen any of them online. It seems to have been created by someone on a whim, and never really worked on. I decided to leave the guild and look for a more active one, but it turns out someone made me the guildmaster last week. I'm not allowed to quit the guild until I name a replacement. After a few minutes of being unable to figure out how to demote myself and promote someone else, I changed my mind and decided I would just run with this guild and try to grow it. I have a lot of questions about that, and would appreciate any expert advice you can offer, or even just a link to some web page describing how to run and develop a guild. 1) Can I change the name of the guild? 2) How can I change the heraldry? I can edit a new symbol/color combo but can't find a way to save it. 3) How can I increase the CXP bonus from 0%? What is the max I can increase it to? 4) How do I deposit credits into the guild bank? 5) Is there an online guide describing the guildmaster role, including what you can and cannot do? Many Thanks!

  13. How about tanks? Old school tanks, not skanks. Is there a limit at which you should go ahead and put points to Crit, etc?
  14. So anything above 110% accuracy is a waste of stat points, which I find equals 736 accuracy points to get to 110% exactly. Likewise anything above 704 Alacrity (1.4s GCD) is a waste unless you get to the next tier at 15 hundred or so. At what point does Crit stop being effective? How about Mastery & Power?
  15. I play mostly dps, which is where my question is directed. I am starting a healer, so would like to know if anything is different there from dps. My tanks are all geared as tanks not skanks, so there's no way I could get any alacrity at all. I have to put mastery, crit & power to give them some punch.
  16. I use to like loading up on Alacrity to reduce cool downs. Now that I'm at higher levels, I find I've got plenty a stuff to do in a rotation and cool downs aren't such a big deal. Is there any drawback to not using any Alacrity, and just loading up on Crit, Power & Mastery?
  17. So I spent cartel coins to go to level 70. You get a suit of armor with a set bonus. Is it better to keep that set bonus and upgrade the mods, etc than to buy a Gemini Mk-4 suit of armor with no set bonus and upgrade the mods, etc in that?
  18. Hi, some relics just say Use increases Power by 784 for 30 seconds. How do you use it? Do you drag the icon onto your interface boxes like any other ability? Is there a cool down? Can they stack? How often can you use it?

  20. I've got a tank with 0.00% alacrity. Does that hinder me in any way, or do I just not get any activation & cooldown time reduction? I've got room for one more augment. Would a 1% alacrity do much good?

  23. Do Mako and/or Corso ever make it back into the story after KOTFE? I don't want to level them up to 50 if they won't be there in the end game. Thanks!
  24. Should a damage dealer invest any item modification points in defense, or just for mastery, power, crit, and maybe a little alacrity? It seems obvious that if you don't have a shield, points toward a shield would be wasted. True? How about defense?
