Sorry not willing to teach the sub-1k dps that currently are unable to get 216s how to improve; there is only so much work I'm willing to do helping others and it begins and ends with people unwilling to help themselves.

Players who do not take part in PvP or HM/NiM Operations do not need gear in this game. There is bolster in story mode, and the basic gear drops are more than sufficient for story content. Players who currently are unable to play the above content are limited by skill, not gear.

Important Information About Cartel Market Passes
DragonsGalore replied to EricMusco's topic in General Discussion
The removal of passes in particular torpedoes the endgame community, this time not just the NiM community (which is basically gone in 5.0, everyone is going to FFXIV and elsewhere). I play lots of sm/hm ops with people who use passes to play. Someone pays for those passes. And, despite whatever Bioware may think, this is not going to make people sub. You can kiss a good portion of your playerbase goodbye:( -
Yup if this goes through in it's current state you can kiss both Nightmare *AND* Hard Mode raiding community goodbye. That's not an exaggeration.

Deception Pve is a Joke, again....
DragonsGalore replied to lord-angelus's topic in Shadow / Assassin

The 'Biggest Heal' category can't be current or correct for 4.0, since I put out larger heals than #4 and #5 both on my 65 sage and even while leveling my sorc recently. Although, I'm not sure how many responses you're actually getting for the record numbers. And that's not just once, that was regularly (especially when I ran zero-alac).

Deception Pve is a Joke, again....
DragonsGalore replied to lord-angelus's topic in Shadow / Assassin
And at the end of the day, if a better skilled deception goes against an anni mara in dps, the anni mara will lose. Nothing will replace player skill and refusing to let a dps in a group because of their spec instead of their performance is beyond ridiculous. -
Make becoming PvP a control only you activate
DragonsGalore replied to MaryEO's topic in General Discussion
This is a complete non-issue. Few people accidentally flag. You flag, you get killed. You re-spawn, and un-flag. For the hundreds / thousands of hours people spend playing, waiting 5m to un-flag and learn their mistake is trivial. -
This is the newest balance fix for PvP. Too many sorc healers dieing to well-timed stealth attacks. Buff sorc.

Swtor players in FP HM's
DragonsGalore replied to Mithersonian's topic in Flashpoints, Operations, and Heroic Missions
Just kick people from your group when it's obvious they can't finish the flashpoint. Sooner or later you'll find a whole team that can complete But for real, this isn't a flashpoint problem, it's a player problem. Probably their first fight where they can die from using basic attacks and standing still. -
Lvl 24 DPS, New Player Tactics: Basic Attack Spam™, Stand In Red Circles™, Boss Fight Idle Animation™ Preparations: Ensures health is at most 60%, Long AFK (10m), ~8 Random 3m AFKs, 5m choosing a new hat. Communication: SB SB SB SB SKIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Post Fight: Need EVERYTHING -- Beg for force pull from water -- grab new mob before changing said hat (again) At least he's PvP flagged open world; hope he's not in your WB group cause I WILL KILL HIM®.

There's a very good reason most people don't want to play MMOs. SWTOR in 4.0 was becoming an exception. Now, not so sure.

The Devs are all probably playing Star Wars: Battlefront...
DragonsGalore replied to Freyjawulf's topic in General Discussion
Except the novelty already wore off playing the open beta:p -
Should have added an option to weaken comps, or left it alone. Yet another instance of developers and (a micro-cosmically small minority of) players, dictating to others how they should enjoy a game. Good business is giving customers what they want. You profit and so do they. Though, I would expect *very* few gaming companies to understand this.
