I've found the cross to be a touchy mechanic. it seems that the target area for folks is actually smaller then what the cross represents so be crowded in closer towards the boss has made it fairly consistent for my raid group to pass. The DPS requirements for this fight are a definate spike compared to anything else in this raid

12x EXP was a limited time deal just for folks to play toons up to max level prior to a level cap bump. It's illogical and unrational to expect it show back up prior to a new level bump coming back. I could see it potentially be a pre-order bonus for the next level bump which wont be for a considerable period of time.

Love the additional insight that goes into these patches. It's nice to see how they change as stuff makes the cut or doesnt.

But the item over a longer period of time was exceedingly destructive to gameplay. Part of the issue is that there wasnt really a way to find this on the PTS per say.

No, they don't. The rate of incoming sub's is still greater then rate of outgoing sub's. I'm a very active player and I've not lost a single person in my social circle personally to this slot machine nonsense. They also have huge free PR with the new star wars movies coming out. They don't have to do diddly to the slot's. It was a bad idea in the first incarnation which wasn't testable properly on the PTS due to the nature of the item. Contrary to popular belief, the amount of noise made on the forums does NOT influence the developers decisions. The metric's influence the decisions.

Not kidding at all, there's a minor vocal element on the forums, most folks have accepted the answer and moved on. If you insist on behaving like a 4 year old assume the rest of us will treat you like one
