  1. I completely missed that thread in the signature. That definitely gives me some insight for what I'll probably do around endgame. And you make a good point. Not much lost for switching crew skills. Thank you all for the replies! Definitely helped out
  2. I do have an agent but I moved onto the sith warrior classes (I'm marauder trash). I only have Vette and the ship droid atm (lvl 18) and am unsure of what to go with for crit values for all the possible companions.
  3. That seems a lot like what I'm doing currently but with the typical lightsaber crafting skills. Slicer I believe is still decent after the nerf I've heard about, correct? Should I make an effort for the criticals at the cap for slicing? Also should I sell the lockboxes straight on the GTN or open them myself? I'm not sure which is more profitable while being consistent. I know opening boxes is like rolling the dice. Also I know this isnt a gathering skill, but again diplomacy. Should I make an effort to get mats from that to sell as well? I hear the market is decent for that.
  4. Greetings, I recently started SWTOR last week and really just enjoy the questing aspect. I've read a LOT of threads about what crew skills are best for profit, but I get the extreme impression of need to spend my time logging on for nothing but setting crew missions and checking GTN. I don't want to be a big time merchant. I just want to know what skills would be best to have simply to get things to sell on the GTN as I run around leveling and sending my companions out. I don't want to stare at the GTN just to figure out item markets and fluctuating prices. Just sell materials straight or craft profitable items without taking much time. I've gotten a LOT of mixed answers but all for different situations. At the moment I have my eyes on Slicing, Diplomacy, Treasure Hunting, and Archaeology. Thank you for your time in helping a newbie
