  1. Especially our poor Smugglers who have had their recent alliance companion contact for Chapter 11 pushed back again. :p

Yeah, what the hell is that all about? Guss is the only one whose reappeared, and it's not like BW and EA don't have access to the sound files for Wookiee talk!

  2. Remember it depends on Voice Actor (VA) availability as well as story progression.

I have a feeling most of the VAs are on board with coming back in some capacity or another, if they're not already voicing background characters. As you said, story progression probably factors in.

It does interest me that, except for Dorne, we've encountered practically all of the Trooper's original companions up to this point. Hell, Vik was the first of the original voiced companions (with a different VA) we encounter (and no, T7's beeping doesn't count :p). I don't know of any other class that has gotten that close to obtaining/encountering all their original companions thus far (the Agent may be the closest).

  3. Well Revan is *hopefully* done by now, for realsies this time and I'm thinking/hoping the Emperor's on his way out as KotFE progresses. Then again, I'd rather continue dealing with the Emperor than say Arcann because that dude's a dud.

I personally don't see Arcann, or anyone related to Zakul, going too much beyond KotFE. I mean, 1)even given its "Legends" status there's probably a good reason why we've never heard of "The Eternal Empire" in the films or cartoons and 2) it's got to be called "Knights of the Fallen Empire" for a reason.

  4. According to the Webster dictionary, an Out-lander is a person who belongs to another region or culture, but is currently residing in another. With that in mind "Outlander" is fitting, though people like Kaliyo, Lana, Aric, are all Outlanders as well. But The Zakulian ruling government, only identifies you.

Kind of fits outside Zakul, too, as you the galaxy you knew before your character was frozen is no longer the same.

    Not really.

There's a convo you can have where you go "I'm a Sith" or "I'm a Jedi" and the NPC just goes "what's that? who cares?"

Yeah, I think that occurs on Zakul, where their ignorance of that is kinda understandable (I believe they don't even recognize you as the Outlander, either - at least until Arcaan flashes your holo-image in the square).

  5. Considering Kaliyo returned in X, and Jorgan's back in XI, I'm beginning to wonder if this round of releases won't be the start of "the LIs return," even if they aren't central characters in the stories in question.

Some of them I do see as... tricky to depict in KOTFE, particularly Jaesa, mostly because her companion arc is influenced on whether you recruited her as a LS or DS Warrior. Hell, there are a few non-LI companions I could see as tricky bringing back, such as Khem Val

considering he'd have to come back as either himself or as Zash-in-Khem, depending on what you decided in the Inq storyline

    .

  6. He would not even have gotten on my ship. I'm supposed to be the best bounty hunter in the galaxy, and this **BLEEP** bullies his way onto my ship? No sale. Bad writing. I won't even use him for crafting or gathering missions. He is already dead.

Yeah, should have been able to just shoot him and leave his corpse on Belsavis. Or, my preference, introduce him to the escape pod hatch - without the escape pod.

  7. I want an explanation on the Dark Council during the invasion of the Eternal Empire. Who is dead? Who is missing? What seats were filled prior to the invasion?

Taking the cut scene showing the Sith Empire and Republic representatives bowing to Arcaan into account, I'd say Vowrawn is the only Dark Council member from "the old crew" still around and kicking.

    Marr's dead

, Darth Acina has elevated herself to Emperor, and given what Lana Beniko says in her conversations with the Outlander, most of the rest of the Council is either dead or MIA (with it suggested that the Inquisitor character him/herself is the latter, provided the Inquisitor isn't the Outlander themselves).

  8. Agree with the OP. The parts with Han and Chewy were great but the new folks meh they didn't even really have star warsy sounding names.

Yes, because "Luke" is such a "Star Warsy" name. :p

T....and then what they did to Solo.....like a punk..... over all the moive was just ok.

    It's a bit of a tradition that

the mentor figure dies in the first movie of a Star Wars trilogy. It's just surprising *who* they decided to kill (though Harrison Ford tried to convince Lucas that Han should die since either Empire or Jedi.

  9. Query: can I level characters decently on the class story missions alone with a subscription? Since paying for a subscription, I've leveled up most of my characters on the class and planet stories alone, but I was wondering if I could skip the planet stories and just level up my character at a decent pace on the class stories alone (i.e. keeping up with the planet level)?
  10. I thought it might be Tython too, but I've also seen some speculation that it's Rakata Prime. We'll see next movie.

Probably not tython, notice in tython the ruins are crumbling but they are still large and grand, you cant miss em.

Keep in mind, it's also been almost 4,000 years since the events between TOR and TFA (even with TOR being considered part of the "Legends" continuity). We have ruins on this planet that are in worse shape, and younger.

Any material like Tython, Rakata, Taris, etc, created by Bioware is copyright.

Technically, so is Korriban, but that didn't stop the creators of The Clone Wars from intending to use it at the end of that series, even making it to the script phase (until Lucas asked them to change it to Moraband).

  11. There's nothing, IMHO, in TFA that "diminishes" SWTOR. As others have said, the two exist in two different eras, so they don't necessarily contradict each other, and despite TOR's "Legacy" designation, there's really nothing preventing either the movie producers or the people behind Star Wars: Rebels from adding elements from TOR into the official canon. (Hell, there's a droid in the cantina scene in TFA that looks remarkably similar to SCORPIO. Whether or not it is her (could even her programming survive after nearly 4 millennia?) is up for debate.)
  12. I did think that was SCORPIO among the cantina patrons, but I'm still not sure (certainly a droid that vaguely resembles her base model among the crowd).

Is Starkiller Base a homage to The Force Unleashed or to Bendak Starkiller the duelist from Taris in KOTOR 1? Or both?

In universe, it could be a reference that it uses stars to power the weapon it houses, and the fact that it can destroy entire solar systems.

  13. Did then not lost against the Sacred Band of Thebes who had less numbers and not that good of a training?

Part of that was because by the time Sacred Band defeated the Spartans, everyone had pretty much learned the Spartans' playbook. The Spartan culture didn't allow much in the way of change and creativity, so it was only a matter of time someone figured out how to defeat them.

  14. Blue- Jedi Guardian- Warrior. Focuses on combat and rooting out evil. Very strong lightsaber techniques and very powerful in the use of lightsaber.

Green- Jedi Consular- Focuses on Force abilities and uses negotiations to solve conflicts. Very strong force abilities but don’t make great duelists.

Yellow- Jedi Sentinel- Focuses on other abilities such as tracking, technology, surveillance and espionage Main goal is to see out and destroy traces of the darkside.

Red- Mainly used by sith and dark Jedi. Red is more compatible with dark side energies. They are also synthetic and do not grow naturally.

Purple- Uses Both lightside and darkside techniques. Usually more aggressive in their force use.

Orange- Focuses on negotiations as well as combat.

Gold- Uses very strong lightside base skills.

Bronze- Used by someone very powerful and relies on great physical strength.

Silver- Used by someone who is very calm and focuses on the living force as a whole.

White- Used by force users that have a very narrow and single minded view on the force and usually serves a master or a group unwavering.

Black- Used by force users that have a very narrow and single minded view on the force but is devoted to one’s self.

A guild member found this for us, not sure where she found it but we put it our guild website.

Keep in mind that most of these don't show up in either the movies or TV series (which are the only "hard" canon at present). So far, the only saber colors that have appeared are:

Blue & Green, which seem to be limited to Jedi and their recently fallen kin.

Red, which only the Sith and the Imperial Inquisitors in Rebels seem to use.

Purple, which has so far been limited to Mace Windu.

Black (with a white outline) - used solely by Pre Viszla of the Mandalorian Death Watch and Darth Maul (the same one, actually), but described as having been taken from the Jedi as a trophy by Viszla's ancestors.

White - so far, only used by Asoka Tano in the Rebels series.

(Personally, I'm less interested in the crystals and colors and more interested in the hilts. I would love to get something like Gungi's lightsaber in the game. ;) )

  15. Truth be told, depending on the situation, it doesn't seem like Jedi really give up *all* their worldly possessions - Count Dooku (who was Yoda's apprentice, remember) still had his personal/family fortune to fall back on when he left.

Still, it's very likely the Jedi Order "owns" several strongholds across the galaxy, so that any member of their order can use them for various purposes. The same with the Trooper and Imperial Agent - the strongholds for them could be said to be owned by the Republic Military and Imperial Intelligence (respectively) - though, depending how much each is paid (which could be a bit for the Trooper, being a member of Special Forces), it could conceivably be owned by them. The Smuggler, Bounty Hunter, and Sith characters very likely own their strongholds (with the Sith "inheriting" theirs from their masters ;) ).

  16. They do not exist sorry but yeah the game is not canon and the only thing that actually expands Star Wars legacy.

At least until someone decides to include them. Korriban would have probably fallen under the Legacy material as well, if it hadn't been featured in the last episode of The Clone Wars (though it's called Moraband in that series, for whatever reason).
