  1. Yeah, what the hell is that all about? Guss is the only one whose reappeared, and it's not like BW and EA don't have access to the sound files for Wookiee talk!
  2. I have a feeling most of the VAs are on board with coming back in some capacity or another, if they're not already voicing background characters. As you said, story progression probably factors in. It does interest me that, except for Dorne, we've encountered practically all of the Trooper's original companions up to this point. Hell, Vik was the first of the original voiced companions (with a different VA) we encounter (and no, T7's beeping doesn't count ). I don't know of any other class that has gotten that close to obtaining/encountering all their original companions thus far (the Agent may be the closest).
  3. I personally don't see Arcann, or anyone related to Zakul, going too much beyond KotFE. I mean, 1)even given its "Legends" status there's probably a good reason why we've never heard of "The Eternal Empire" in the films or cartoons and 2) it's got to be called "Knights of the Fallen Empire" for a reason.
  4. I think Revan's pretty much done after Shadow. As for the Emperor - KotFE may be where his story play out. We'll see.
  5. Kind of fits outside Zakul, too, as you the galaxy you knew before your character was frozen is no longer the same. Yeah, I think that occurs on Zakul, where their ignorance of that is kinda understandable (I believe they don't even recognize you as the Outlander, either - at least until Arcaan flashes your holo-image in the square).
  6. Considering Kaliyo returned in X, and Jorgan's back in XI, I'm beginning to wonder if this round of releases won't be the start of "the LIs return," even if they aren't central characters in the stories in question. Some of them I do see as... tricky to depict in KOTFE, particularly Jaesa, mostly because her companion arc is influenced on whether you recruited her as a LS or DS Warrior. Hell, there are a few non-LI companions I could see as tricky bringing back, such as Khem Val .
  7. Yeah, should have been able to just shoot him and leave his corpse on Belsavis. Or, my preference, introduce him to the escape pod hatch - without the escape pod.
  8. Can't finish "Defiance," the last (?) companion romance mission for Ashara on the Inquisitor. Plays okay, but then won't clear and give me the XP/Influence points.
  9. Taking the cut scene showing the Sith Empire and Republic representatives bowing to Arcaan into account, I'd say Vowrawn is the only Dark Council member from "the old crew" still around and kicking. , Darth Acina has elevated herself to Emperor, and given what Lana Beniko says in her conversations with the Outlander, most of the rest of the Council is either dead or MIA (with it suggested that the Inquisitor character him/herself is the latter, provided the Inquisitor isn't the Outlander themselves).
  10. Yes, because "Luke" is such a "Star Warsy" name. It's a bit of a tradition that
  11. "Among the winners, there is no room for the weak."
  12. Query: can I level characters decently on the class story missions alone with a subscription? Since paying for a subscription, I've leveled up most of my characters on the class and planet stories alone, but I was wondering if I could skip the planet stories and just level up my character at a decent pace on the class stories alone (i.e. keeping up with the planet level)?
  13. Probably some thing like, "Not as good as the originals, but better than the prequels."
  14. I thought it might be Tython too, but I've also seen some speculation that it's Rakata Prime. We'll see next movie. Keep in mind, it's also been almost 4,000 years since the events between TOR and TFA (even with TOR being considered part of the "Legends" continuity). We have ruins on this planet that are in worse shape, and younger. Technically, so is Korriban, but that didn't stop the creators of The Clone Wars from intending to use it at the end of that series, even making it to the script phase (until Lucas asked them to change it to Moraband).
  15. There's nothing, IMHO, in TFA that "diminishes" SWTOR. As others have said, the two exist in two different eras, so they don't necessarily contradict each other, and despite TOR's "Legacy" designation, there's really nothing preventing either the movie producers or the people behind Star Wars: Rebels from adding elements from TOR into the official canon. (Hell, there's a droid in the cantina scene in TFA that looks remarkably similar to SCORPIO. Whether or not it is her (could even her programming survive after nearly 4 millennia?) is up for debate.)
