It's not like the announcement was there on front page for a long time (I can swear it only appeared on my launcher after the 11th) and was gone soon after. It sucks for those who subbed because of it, but I doubt it was intentional on BW's part.

I can accept that the movies be based around the Skywalker lineage. But I cannot agree that Star Wars is about the Skywalkers. Back in the 70's it could be whatever Lucas wanted it to be, now it's grown a much bigger deal. I mean, what the hell are the Skywalkers to us in the Old Republic.

Abrams and Disney don't give a crap about the Clone Wars, Rebels, cannon or not. They will do just enough not to cross the story already told there, but plot incongruity is not a concern. These folks are creating a new Star Wars of theirs.

I've quit going to the Temple Area on Yavin 4 so right now I can't tell if it's still as bad, as the Massassi camp with the Rep prisioners is as far as I go to do the Daily, but I'd bet the farm (no pun intended) The Red Eclipse was and still is the most bot-infested server.
