  1. I would like to join. My character Impside is Childric. I have been playing since 2014 and have watched you guys grow. Would love to be a part of things. Cannot seem to find any of the leaders listed on the forum post. Is there a Discord channel or a person to DM?
  2. Apologies for seeming daft, but I'm missing something. So I just cleared it on SM. (#1 does it need to be in another mode or should I be able to do it in SM or VM as is my plan), and I don't even see where to pick up the weapon. All along the many years I thought it was the thermal AOE buff, but clearly there's something else I should be grabbing. So I boogy through and clear the rooms with the traps and the two sisters and then beat their twin rakghoul forms in the side room....no worries. Walk into the next hallway and zap a few weaklings. Then into the narrower hall with the plasma beams and three rolling mobs of raks to get to the final boss door. So up to that point...no weapon, yes? So I'm in the room with the final boss. Cleared out all the floating mines and sentry droids and pinged her a couple times to keep aggro off my comp. Then when things quiet down, I'm looking everywhere. Nothing to click. Nothing to pick up. No droid to speak of...as was referenced. So I click the panels and she's off and running and I burn down both her forms and the ensuing mobs, while watching for a spawn of something to click....nothing. Apologies for stretching this into a painful process...but give me the dummy's guide to picking up the weapon. Where's the droid / weapon, etc. Thanks a bunch folks.
  3. Super helpful. Thank you. And this works in S/V modes as well as Master? (ie. I can solo it w/o the lack of a group impacting?) Also for the Mutagenic one...how do you employ it as a raghoul...can you pick those buffs up as a Rak? Maybe I just never noticed. Really appreciate the input.
  4. I have all the Uprisings achievements completed except two...Trial & Error... the two misc. 100 kill one (one is called Mutagenic Mayhem...the other escapes me). Basically using the weapon buffs in the instance to kill the npc's w/ these giant AOE things. Usually wipes out 15 at a time in VM. I've killed hundreds S, V, and Master and I have ZERO Kills for either achievement. Neither can I find a word about it in the forums or online. And when I write customer service, they tell me it's not showing as an issue, and I should report it as a bug. As if I'd have all the other achievements and ZERO kills for those two....just give me the damn cheevo, right? Anyway...am I missing something here, or is this just a nonsensical anomaly ?
  5. Are there any plans to bring back the missing gang heroic that was completed via engaging different gangs in the cantina on M'Sha? Seems to have been missing a while now, and I would like to complete the achievement. Any word on this? Maybe BW changed where it gets picked up??
  6. Thanks again for the responses. I am puzzled at this one. It seems as though there was a conscious move by Bioware to mitigate the ability to just do one chapter and get the weapon buffs...I get that. But to shut it down completely as an option if I engaged Onslaught. That is poor....please say 'tisn't so. Any insights from others out there who have managed to get the buffs somehow after doing Onslaught, would be welcome. Just want to the Odessan Forged weapon buffs on the toons I didn't run through KotFE yet...about 5 of them. Many thanks!!
  7. Thanks for the response; most appreciative. I surmise you actually know how this works, and I appreciate the input. So am I safe to extrapolate from this exchange that my toons which have not gone through KofTE in its entirety, can no longer engage it, and are thus, perpetually barred from getting the buffed weapons. Or...am I to understand (realizing I may have to run some toons through to test the 'theory') that if one of them goes through all the chapters it will kick in. Since I cannot go back and "officially" do the storyline after having done Onslaught, I would only able to do them piecemeal. That doesn't seem likely, so I'm guessing that any toon that did the Onslaught intro is not eligible now. Thoughts? So bottom line....if I didn't run them through KofTE previously, I'm out of luck on any toon that initiated Onslaught? Thanks again for your input.
  8. I ran most of my toons through KotFE, etc. and they have the Odessan forged weapon to fight Arcann...and also get the buffs when it's equipped. Those few toons which I did not run through the full storyline....I wanted the to get the weapon/buffs too...so ran one through the chapter where you get it...received the weapon and finished the chapter...and no buffs. Then completed final Arcann fight chapter and beat him...but with no special buffs, and then no buffs after the fight. Filed a bug report, but they said to take it to the forums, and so I am. Many thanks...I assume there is an easy answer to this.
  9. I am a level 60 Jedi Guardian (Charlemagnus), and have been playing for only the past few months with my oldest son, who is attending university in CA (although I am on the east coast), and has recently been in doing RD work in Kenya. Thus, I am now left without a comrade, and have not engaged anyone on the game socially beside him. This was fine for a season, but last night I was unable to complete my storyline on Oricon (so close to being ready to head to Rishi), as it was an Ops mission (Dread Fortress), and I realized that it is time for me to join a guild and get to know other players. I'm in my mid-forties, very easy to get along with, am interested in joining a guild with nice players who enjoy the game. Although I joined a PVP server to accommodate my son's location and preference, the only part of the game I have not gotten used to is being continuously attacked while I am running various missions. I am fastidious about my character (currently fully equipped and augmented at 186 and just beginning to collect elite coms for the next set of 192 mods), and reasonably adept at the game, but I think there is a great deal I do not know, and so I want to learn from seasoned players. Additionally, I want to partner with other players to help them with Heroics and Flashpoints, as well as be helped myself (ie. I need help with the Oricon Ops mission at the moment). Any counsel on which guild might be a good fit for me would be appreciated. I am happy to go through whatever formal 'beginner' training might be expected of me, and pull my weight accordingly. I sometimes travel for workl, but am on often enough to contribute significantly. Thanks, and looking forward to getting to know my future guild colleagues!
