  1. This would be a much better and simpler system than the convoluted system they proposed in the live stream.
  2. Just make CXP, command crates, and command stash legacy wide. I barely play my alts anymore because any CXP you earn on one alt is wasted CXP that could have gone to leveling your main to the next teir. Getting four characters to level 90 would be the same amount of work as getting 1 to level 300. Why play alts at all when I could have 1 character with 7 or 9 legacy pieces of tier 3 BiS gear vs 4 sets of teir 1 gear. Also consider the impacts to conquest rewards. I could get 20k on 5 or like I did last week get 100k on 1 toon. For rewards its much better to spread out the points. Stop punishing people for playing alts and make CXP legacy wide.
  3. I had the exact same thought. If you make it small enough only 2-4 potential nodes you could have teams of 4-6 which would reduce the queue time which would be nice side benefit.
  4. You are being just a tad alarmist. PVP would die, yeah right. The people who pvp just the dailies/weeklies would still have to have all of them selected. This would only be for players that want to pvp but don't won't to be stuck in unliked war-zones. These people sometimes just abandon warzones they don't like. If anything it would reduce the number of people abandoning warzones in the beginning. It could increase pvp numbers, we just don't know until its implemented.
  5. I don't know if they improved the random poping of all the warzones when they decreased odessen proving grounds, but it sure seems like I'm getting a more even spread. This has also lead to more hutball and voidstar which I will often abandon so pvp queues should happen.
  6. Not sure why TEC is behind chapters. Just like zoist and the monolith. It's stupid to hide repeatable content behind tedious one time missions for people that run multiple alts. For zoist everyone just summoned, bypassing the requirement. Summoning was/is shady since the bug abuse of the first few days. With TEC you can't even bypass the requirement.
  7. Kinda surprised this hasn't got more traction. Especially with all the issues with Odessen Proving Grounds.
  8. Don't forget about GSF. I love domination matches but not a fan of deathmatch.
  9. Totally Agree. I'm not a fan of void-star and will often leave the match if that pops. Some people don't like huttball. We should be able to choose what we want to play. The dailies/weeklies can require all war-zones to be selected to increase queue just like the flashpoints.
  10. I love your comment. I feel like suggestions on the threads are a joke because people troll others if they don't agree with the threads and bioware has so little feedback it seems like the suggestions threads are useless. At least there are a few rational people that can contribute to a discussion.
  11. This attitude is something I don't understand with a lot of the small QOL improvement suggestion responses. People claim that small changes shouldn't be implemented because they want big new content or ambitious, large, vague bug fixes like fps increases. I'm not sure if your trolling or generally feel like only new things should be added to the game. I feel like nothing is too small to be improved. Its small changes like this or sorting companions in the crew skill window that should take the team less than a day to program and implement. Other games have an entire team of programs on small QOL changes and they actively solicit the communities input. Look how long it took them to implement legacy datacrons. Once a system in place if its buggy/less than perfect and doesn't give some players unfair advantages than it might never get updated. But this issue goes beyond the small QoL issue because its a regression. The game had a certain behavior prior to an update. After the update it had less functionality than before. This is an opportunity to improve the character select screen even more, it doesn't have to go back to 8 if other improvement like favorites and selective sorting are implemented. This change gives a small window to discuss this issue before its put on the back burner and changed again in 6.0.
  12. The change does not make since. I have eight characters specifically because they've designed the game to promote rolling eight alts to get all the achievements/heroic moments/new legendary player status. This regression while minor is still a regression an makes game player unnecessarily more time consuming for alts. When I cycle through all my alts to do crafting missions I obviously start at the last played character which is now on page two. While it may take only one or two seconds to click on page two. The time adds up. Forty logins in day times seven days a week means I spend several minutes on the character select screen. Besides adding the two character slots back they could also add two static slots which allows you to pin your favorites/mains. Than an option to selectively sort the rest of the characters preferably by longest since last played.
  13. I've also noticed my force cloak is a lot less effective. If enemies are channeling they will still still after I cloak and bring my back into combat, also dots will destealth me and bring in back into combat quicker than previously. The doors in star fortress will not open if your stealthed. There are a lots of bugs in 4.0 for stealth.
  14. This sorting is badly needed in the game. Hopefully this QOL improvement is in one of the next updates. Also please show how many companions can are left to be deployed. The number in the upper right only shows when you deploy the max number of companions. Make it a count down that shows remaining companions able to be deployed.
