  1. Yep - My Sith Pureblood Warrior has the same problem. The Mask doesn't show up at all (Double checked the options for Hide Headgear) however, his voice is still altered in cut-scenes as if he had the breather on.
  2. And this is a perfect example of why these forums are practically useless for this sort of discussion. I agree that there are valid complaints from people - some people do have problems and issues with the game. However, they are drowned out by the haters who spew thread after thread of bile and nonsense. Any genuine, constructive post they have is lost in the "Signal-to-noise" and they get met with the same "Troll" comments that the haters get. And anyone who dares to post positively about the game is likewise drowned out with claims of being a "White Knight" or a Fanboi... There is now so much knee-jerk "hate" between the two groups that no ammount of constructive discussion is going to last long before the two sides drag it down. Forget Illum - we have a perfect PVP system here on the forum. For the record - I happen to love the game. So does my wife. Yes, we have had a few bugs, yes its been a problem sometimes, but were happy. I myself, in the early access period, got told i was a "Rabid Fanboi" for daring to suggest that my wife actually played TOR purely on the draw of the story - She loves the storylines and really was drawn to the game by them. Yet apparently this could not be true because someone else thought the story was pointless - so i was just a mindless fanboi who couldn't see the truth. Until both sides lose the radical element (Both on the blind haters and the extreme defenders) the people with genuine comments and discussion are always going to be lost in the wasteland that 'General' has become...
  3. You can also see it on Rattataki - My Inquisitor had the pale, glassy gray eyes and they went Orange when she hit Dark I
  4. And yet in the week of early access and the first week of live, this forum was filled with people screaming about queues and demanding that BW open up more servers or they would, by golly, cancel right now... So yeah - damned if you do, damned if you dont...
  5. A good rule of thumb to remember for pretty much any "Iconic" or "landmark" achievment (Such as getting your first companion, or your Lightsaber or your ship) is to follow your class quest. Many of these things are not tied to a specific level, but based on how far down your Class Quest you are. And yes, at Level 11 you should be able to do the Quest you mentioned - I managed it at Level 9 (Though there were some difficult parts) Just remember to use all your abilities and you should be fine.
  6. It is also worth mentioning that you can only send items by mail to someone on the same faction. So your Republic characters can not send mail to Empire characters and Vis Versa.
  7. Absolutely agree. I only occasionally come to the General Forum anymore because I can not handle the amount of negativity from both sides. Your either a "Fanboi" and your opinion gets ignored because it could not possibly be right, or your a "Hater" who gets slammed with "Go back to WoW" comments. Its really hard to find an actual decent debate in here. And i also (as i stated) do agree that there are bugs - often quite annoying ones. However, for me, they are not stopping me from seeing the "bigger picture" of how enjoyable the game is. Meh - People will be people, there will always be arguments between opposing viewpoints. I'm just glad that some of us can still have a civilised discourse about things
  8. Also - Don't forget that you are not allowed to actually like the game and have fun with it, unless you are some sort of deluded Bioware "fanboi" who can not see the light of truth being brought to you by the people who vehemently complain only so that you can see that their opinion is the "One True Way" The truth is, yes the game has issues. Yes, some of them are fairly big and need work. Is this common in just about every Online Game since they started - Yes. Do i believe that Bioware will get round to fixing these issues - Yes Is it stopping me from having a great time playing the Game and enjoying myself - Hell no. I love the storylines, the gameplay, and pretty much everything. I'm thoroughly enjoying myself and my Wife (who is not a huge online gamer) was talked into playing the game with me and she is also having a great time. I don't claim to speak for anyone other than myself, but in my opinion, this is the kind of game that was made for a person like me - and I am having a blast with it.
  9. I was 15 when I did it. I opened up with Kem attacking, then chained a few hits on him and mainly sat back and let Khem do the hard work and keeping him healed. Threw in the odd interupt wehn needed. It was a close fight, but doable...
  10. Likewise - For Republic side there is one located in the Central Ring of the Fleet (And I think i saw one on Taris... so may be loacated on other planets too)
  11. As mentioned above - The companions join you at certain stages of your main Class Quest, no matter what level you are. You could technically do every quest, PVP map and so on and get all the way to 20, but if you have not completed the relevant part of the Class Quest she wont join you. Same for getting your Ship etc... all dependent on the Quest, not your level.
  12. You know what i love. How anybody who actually points out the facts (for example the "Up to 5 days") or indeed anything that negates the complaint - is automatically labelled as a "Fanboi" or a Bioware White Knight. Because - you know - theres no possible way anyone could actually look at the information rationally and draw a mature conclusion from it without being some sort of mindless fanboi...
  13. Mine just arrived an hour ago! Now i'm all set and ready to go
