It really bummed me out when I tried pvping on my old sage who had a full champion set from the first month of release. Why they decided on such a terrible way to handle the system is beyond me, but damn it was boring dying to level 30 keyboard turners

Sage healer you say. So far I've been playing mainly guardian tanking with mvp folks in pugs, quite a lot of fun and I feel like I'm slowly getting a hand of things. Maybe I should get the sage and juggernaut up to 55 though, hm hm.

You are correct that it was a very dk/pala season, but that's not what I played. The only decent counter to dk pala that also featured a paladin was feral pala, and exerion is arguably the most talented feral druid in eu so we had a ridiculously good record up to 2.8k Remember though, I still had to beat every other paladin in blackout for the title, and resto shaman / warlock was a fairly hard counter to us as well. I consider season 5 my reward for playing holy palading throughout all of TBC though, when druids reigned supreme. I cannot be arsed linking all other characters but there's a druid called Lymia, a priest called Jonesx and a DK called Moloc all on Kazzak that have gladiator / very high rating statistics if you want to check if there's any truth to what I say =)

I did not notice your guild website. My suggestion would be to colour it differently, perhaps a ligher shade of blue - just something to make it stand out from the rest of the text

Hey. I've just returned to the game (last time I played the best gear was randomly given from battlemaster bags - it's been a while) I'm back though and so far I feel way more content with the game than I used to, as such I've decided to put in the effort required to climb to the highest ratings in the game. I mainly come from World of Warcraft, where I've been an avid pvper since the game's release. Milestones in there include: # Deadly Gladiator # Six other Gladiator Titles # Grand Marshal / Hero of the Alliance (end-season 10 rated battleground - not at all unsimilar to rated warzones) etc. I'm used to playing both with and against the top players and am very interested in theory crafting & how to figure out what works and what doesn't. I used to have a "how to play holy paladin" guide stickied on Arenajunkies when I still played pvp in that game. Basically, I like pvping. I usually play support/healer or melee dps, which also rivals what I have available in swtor; Guardian at 55, Sage at 53, Juggernaut at 50 and assassin at 4x. I'm not at all traversed on this server, so I don't really know a lot of people that still play. I played a couple of warzones with MVPs on republic side, nice guys but I am not sure if they are looking for something at the moment, so I figured I'd throw this out here. TL;DR I want to play at the top levels of pvp in this game, so if you consider yourself to be just that and feel that you could fit in a Guardian (Tank or dps), a Sage (healer), Juggernaut (same as guardian) or Assasin (w/e) into your roster, then drop me a line! I'm on skype all day (work as an IT consultant) and am usually ingame from evenings. I realise that I probably won't be able to jump into rated warzones immediately, obviously I have to grind the gear first. Pugging every day makes me want to just jump off a cliff though.......... well, there's always new people coming. Sad to see a coveted team go, especially before I got to play against or with you (I'm not sure what side you are) At any rate, ace might be out but I am in. I used to play pvp in swtor back at release but quit around valor rank 55ish on two characters. Now I feel the urge to pvp rising so I figured I'd start again. What serious pvp teams are there on both sides? I'm about to hit 55 on my Guardian and I'm going to either get my sage, juggernaut or assassin up to 55 closely after, depending on where the action is I guess. So, coming from a high-end pvper from other games, what teams are in need of more people?

That's interesting. When I played before BIochem seemed to triumph everything due to making yourself the reusable kits, med pacs and stimulants. I guess that's no longer the case. I suppose I'll go with synthweaving since out of my characters I have 2 biochems and 1 artifice already. Also cheers to the guy above for the speeder suggestions, sounds like a good idea

Hey! I've just resubbed for the game and purchased the new expac and feel a bit overwhelmed by all the new stuff (cartel market, achievements, legacy etc), so overwhelmed that I decided to start a new character fresh. However, I'd like to know what suggestions there are to make this a more enjoyable experience. I have received about 900 cartel coins for example and wonder what I should spend these on. I still have about 4 million credits on my server - anything useful to get? What should I unlock to make my leveling smoother etc. Any suggestions are very welcome, I feel a bit lost.
