  1. I miss this feature from ffxi so much! I used to make thousands by sitting at fishing spots with a bazzar full of bait.
  2. first you need to have the crew skill then talk to the trainer and he should offer you more and as you lvl up you can buy more from craft trainers
  3. I know in beta it was possible because of a bug not sure if it made it into live.
  4. Yes drops can be RE'd but only for mats not to learn a new schematic from them. Also most items can have up to 4-5 different schematics to learn from it +crit +def +abs +power +presence don't remember if they have more or not.
  5. RE'ing drops does not upgrade the item in anyway. only stuff that is crafted can be RE'd. once youve learned all the blue schematics from a green item and purple from blue ones the only reason to do it is to lvl up and sell the items. all the recipies you learn from a trainer including the blues can be RE'd also just a small tip: companions with high affection do missions faster, cheaper and have a higher chance of geting a crit. they also craft faster. it should only take about 5-7 to discover the new recipie. luck plays a factor in this since as far as I know its random.
  6. yes there are plenty of moddable items that you learn from drops or mission rewards and you can get them in the GTN under crafting shematics then your crafting skill
  7. not as an early money maker most ppl dont even know that they are in the GTN let alone that they are 2-3 times better than drops or vendor sold ones for personal use it is great with the reusable stims and medpacks
  8. they do heal but since you have like 12k hp you dont notice 1-2k heals
  9. I have had alot of luck then since I usually get t1 and t2 purples about every 5 missions but I usually have Corso run the dip missions since I have a high affection with him when my droid does it Ive never gotten a crit.
  10. synweaving makes light, medium and heavy for force users armortech makes meduim and heavy for non force users
  11. Well as far as I know there are only 3 lvls green->blue->purple armor and weapons can make 4 different types of blue and purple for ex. protoype with crit attributes , prototype with defense attributes ect. so from one green recipe you can get 4 or more types of blue and the same from blue to purple there might be more dont remember.
  12. As far as I know you can only get purples from blues unless they changed it. and to get more recipies you need to talk to the biochem trainer.
  13. Ive actually been real lucky and most of my purples have come on the first or second try
