  1. Honestly, I've never tried that one before but I'll give it a shot. I enjoy the DPS aspect of the class but just hated how fast I would die as my old Rage spec. I even looked at some of the Immortal/Vengeance hybrids but wasn't impressed. Oh, and that link didn't work either.
  2. Yeah, that's a good point. How about this one?
  3. In an effort to play around with the typical hybrid specs, I have started testing the following Immortal/Rage spec using Vindicator gear and a force off-hand. The intended goal is to maintain the normal tanking skills and increase survivability while adding some of the most loved DPS skills of the Rage tree. I have no idea how this would work in PvE so I'll mostly be testing it in WZ's. Just wondering though, could some of you experts out there review this spec and let me know if you think it's viable? Also, have any of you tried something like this before and if so, how well did it work for you? My goal is to be able to protect my healers while still dealing enough DPS as to survive most 1v1 or 1v2 encounters.
  4. Hello folks, I have gone into BT several times in order to kill the droid boss and obtain the dark sith robes yet for some reason, it doesn't give me the ability to initiate the fight. Any idea what could be wrong? I did have the robes once before but I don't see how that could be the issue. Thanks!
  5. I'm not sure if this topic is a contradiction in terms or not but right now I'm running the standard 31/7/3 healing spec with half BM and the rest recruit gear. I average about 300-400K per WZ in healing though if the other team targets me at any point, I'm down in about 2-3 hits. Sadly enough, folks have gotten much better at locking down an IA so we can't heal ourselves. The other issue is if I'm stuck in a 1v1, my DPS is so pathetic that folks often stand there and let me wack at them while they spam "LMAO." Ok, not really but you get the point... I was wondering though, is there a modified healing or hybrid healing spec that will give me a bit more survivability/DPS while not killing my ability to be a decent healer for my team? Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rayneia
  6. This is for PvP actually. I don't suppose anyone could drop me a link to this spec? I've not seen it before on one of those talent calculators.
  7. Hello folks! I'm still trying to get my head back into the game with my Jugg after spending most of my time playing as a Sin. I have seen a good bit of talk about this hybrid spec but I've not seen an actual link to it or a rotation guide. Can one of you please help me out with this? I tried rage in PvP and hated having everything rotate around smash. I figure this would be more fun to try out. Thanks!
  8. I have just brought back my Jugg after not playing him at all for the past 3 months and being as he only has the entry level PvP gear, I find I die in only a matter of seconds when trying to play him as the typical Rage spec. I have heard that Vengeance offers a more sustained DPS + survivability but I don't have a clue as to how I should build this spec for PvP. Could you all give me a solid Vengeance spec to play with and a basic guide on what type of "rotation" I should be using? Thanks!
  9. First of all, here is the variant spec I am talking about: 13/0/28 DPS Hybrid This spec is a modified version of the 23/1/17 which uses DF, shock, discharge and thrash as their primary attack abilities. The main alteration is the bonus damage to DF and the fact that it still uses dark charge. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this out already and can tell me how it worked for them? Thanks!
  10. Thanks for this post! This is a ton of help and exactly what I needed!
  11. That was one of the best PvP video's I've seen in some time. I love the editing work/music you used. Can you give me some advice though? I played a Jugg as my primary character until I switched to a Sin about 3 months ago. Since then, I have forgotton just about everything on the class as far as DPS setup and rotations. Can you please give me an idea as to your basic rotation and how you set up smash? Also, what kind of gear are you using? For base stats, how much crit, power and surge do I need to work towards? Thanks!
  12. What is your normal attack rotation with this spec? I've not played my Jugg in ages and would like to get back into the character again w/o making a complete fool of myself.
  13. I too just dug up my Jugg and found this spec to be something I'd like to try. Just wondering though, what is the normal "rotation" for this hybrid and can you give me some general advice on playing it? Thanks!
  14. Mors, are there any changes you would make to the Jugg with 1.3 in your PvP Rage spec?
  15. Do you think for 1.3 that Synthweaving will be better than Cybertech? I was looking at this for making mods.
  16. I have been wondering for some time what options/suggestions you all might have when it comes to crafting for credits. For all 3 of my characters, I leveled them with diplomacy and making pots and though it's great for PvP and easy leveling, I don't seam to make much of anything with them. Of course, I don't have any of the persistent pots so that could be part of the problem. Thanks!
  17. Well, considering you can "flirt" with just about everyone prior, I didn't think it would amount to anything. Sucks to be me...
  18. Hmm.... Thanks for the info. To bad we can't just remove a crew member.
  19. I have been building trust with my crew members and for some reason, it looks like my SI is now forced into some romance with Ashara even though that was never my intent. How can I fix this?
  20. If you liked the survival aspect of Darkness, you may want to consider this hybrid spec between the two. It's a bit strange but gives the best of both worlds. Hybrid Darkness + Madness
  21. Hello folks! I have been leveling my assassin to become my new main character and love the class though I need some guidance on the best way I should follow the hybrid 27/0/14 concept. Is it best to put Al my points into madness first and then put the rest into darkness as I continue to level up? Right now I am level 34. Thanks for the help.
  22. Well, I just changed over and in my first 2 WZ's, my average damage was over 250K with a decent amount of healing and protection as well. The survivability of the spec is amazing as well as the damage you can do. This is much more fun than deception!
  23. Hello folks! I just hit level 31 with my Sin and I simply love the class. It's sad because I have a lvl 50 Juggernaut with decent gear and just got to the point I that I really don't find it all that fun in PvP. I was wondering though, being as I plan to play Madness for PvP @ lvl 50, at about what point should I change over from Deception? At level 31, am I high enough that Madness is effective in both PvP and for leveling? I have heard that Deception is by far, the fastest way to level but I want to make sure that when I hit 50, I don't have the lag time of trying to rebuild my UI and relearn a new style of play. Thanks for the advice!
