The Gundark bestiary entry (along with the other Dromund Kaas bestiary entries) is granted for republic in Chapter 2 of KOTET, during the fight through the jungle. It is only granted if you actually kill a Gundark, which you can avoid doing...
Edit for spelling

or, just allow us to drop any coin grants from playing normal missions.
-
Just back from the Casino, spent loads of emperor's chips on all 3 machines. Darth Malgus.

Even with the "Exploration" missions enabled, there are still some older missions that have disappeared. I recall a 3-stage mission (bonus?) in the transport station on Taris that doesn't appear any more. There are a few 3-stage bonus missions that have disappeared on various planets. The Taris one is just the one that came to mind.

I can't even get past the Onslaught splash screen, been trying for at least an hour

People used to gather more then was needed because at the time, you had to do it for each character, but now with it being legacy wide, it's no longer needed. The only reason I can think of people gathering more now, is to put them in guild storage, for Guild Datacron hunts, etc.
Sadly, that's not true. That Belsavis datacron is not a datacron but a shard. Shards are NOT legacy-wide, and have to be gathered by each character that you want to have the codex entry for.

I've heard that said... but I have never had that actually work for me. I have always ended up having to call CS.
Regardless, the process is simple either way.
Well, I have to say, it worked for me a couple of months ago. I had to do it twice, but that's likely because I did something wrong the first time.

Ha! checkmated us I forgot about that. Plus
the Gormak seem to be a single sex species so there's that
Actually, doing the Voss bonys series the other day, I realised there actually are female Gormack. The head is a slightly different shape, and when you see a male and female together the difference is fairly obvious.
-
Voss with 5 active instances!? I haven't seen that for ages. That is surely a good sign.
-
A
nd of course if they introduce Voss as a playable race, then they have to also introduce Gormak as a playable race, since the story reveals that Voss and Gormak were originally one.
-
To the best of my knowledge, they are Repeatable Daily, so you just have to come back tomorrow and you can do them on a different character.
That's what I thought too, but last week second character took 5 planet bonus series to make 50K instead of 3 planets, hence the question. BTW I did wait till 24 hours after the first character had completed.
-
OK this may be a stupid question, but if it is, it won't be the first I've asked or the last... Today I did the bonus series on Tattooine, Balmorra and Nar Shaddaa on one character. How soon will I be able to do these bonus series on another character and get the conquest objectives for them? Tomorrow, or next week?
If it's relevant, I only have 4% stronghold bonus and all my characters are lvl 75, and I am unguilded on all characters. This is not a complaint, it's simply a statement of my playstyle. I'm a recent returnee {6.0) after leaving in disgust at Voldemort's rage-fit nerfing of command points into the ground because someone accepted his challenge (You won't be able to reach 300 in a short time) and succeeded in just a few days.

The 'Revan Returns' FPs do have a solo story arc to them, wrapper missions picked up at the Spaceports on ImpTaris and PubBalmorra that guide you back to the fleet and through both Taral V/Boarding Party and Maelstrom Prison/The Foundry flashpoints while providing additional scenes and backstory. (Including the final fate of The Exile from KOTOR2)
They do indeed, and one of them is so broken that everything can be one-shotted right up to the final boss, who used to be a right pain, and now he takes two shots to get rid of. That's why I don't bother with them on pub characters now:(

There must be a massive generational gap between me and the OP. What... is "fed" in relation to a romance?
I'd imagine there's a k and a c in there somewhere..... maybe even a u

[sOLO] is for advancing the story.
[sTORY] is for playing when you are solo.
snip
So, if I play solo, for the first time in the flashpoint I must choose solo rather than story to advance the story... Well, now I know what went wrong.

As I am unguilded, I feel I have little to contribute here except questions. Main question at this point is I am levelling a character and have currently 174000/50000. Would those points over cap be useful to a guile, or are they just "wasted"?
If they are of use to a guild, I may be motivated to join one, although I am not a fan of group content.

If your interest is in the codex entries, be aware that although the stat datacrons are legacy-wide and apply to every character in the legacy, the matrix shard datacrons are not legacy-wide.. If you want that codex entry for a character, you have to go get the matrix shard.

Picked it up from the conquest list, went to Taris and spoke to Colonel Surab, mission updated to speak to Lord Viago.
Went there and his assistant told me "My Lord has returned to his meditations. best if you be on your way."
Not possible to start any other way if you have already done it while levelling.

Wait, so I can actually complete the Taris bonus series on my most recent consular now? There was apparently a quest in the chain, that I had already completed, which left the NPC unable to give the quest again, that's fixed now?
Seems to be - I just checked at the spaceport and the 2 stooges are lit up with the quest marker. So it's available. Then I went to Lytle (?)and Breijik's Run, and the only quest markers there were for side missions and heroics. It seems they only become quest-givers when you're actually doing the series.
-
And just to clarify, only the quest-giver at the spaceport on Imp Balmorra has the ghosted quest mark - all the givers of the individual quests have no mark at all after the series has been turned in.
-
I did the Imperial Balmorra bonus series last night and it has not changed at all, still get it at the spaceport and head out to the remote outpost to start it, so the story aspect has not been lost. Only thing different is that the quest marker remains on the giver, but ghosted, like any other repeatable quest. I'd imagine the other planets are similar.

Overcapping on Conquest points is only really relevant in guilds [snip]
Whether you want to switch to another character is your decision obviously, as to whether you value the 50k rewards more than continuing on one character, but yeh, nothing extra.
Yeah, pretty much what I imagined, so thanks for that:) I shall merrily carry on doing it "my way" - gotta love old Frank

OK, background is, I'm a mostly solo player, only time I group up is for events like LvD, and incidentally that was the last time I grouped up. No guilds, ever (in this game - I had enough of them in other games). So, conquest up till now has only ever rarely come to my notice - I got the occasional small conquest reward, went "Oh, nice" and carried on with what I was doing. Now it is obvious that I'm working towards personal conquest; that pop-up cannot be ignored, whig brings me to my question...
Currently my Conquest progress bar is showing 77,800/50,000 and I did receive the reward when I hit 50k. So why is it still counting, since I have achieved the quota. Am I now better off playing another character who has not got any conquest points at all, or do I just ignore it and carry on "playing my way"?
I guess what I'm asking is how does personal conquest actually work? If anyone can point me to an explanation online, or explain it in simple terms, I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

Wrong. If you don't yet have your class ship, it gives you that. But nothing else. (The gear set is a separate item included in the same bundle.)
And the level 70 class achievement if you don't already have it.....
