I had this exact problem with my agent for the main storyline. What I did is try it on a different computer to get past it and it worked fine. If that doesn't work you could try lowering the graphics settings. Otherwise yeah, you could just sumbit a ticket or call customer service and ask them to bypass the conversation or if there is another workaround. This didn't work for me, but you could try reinstalling the game, sometimes something goes wrong with the installation.
