  1. Yeah, really enjoyed the story despite some flaws. A step up from KotFE for sure, and it makes me look forward to what might come next. Thank you, BW.
  2. Would really want to have Arcann romanceable as well. Despite his flaws, he's a very interesting character. Being able to romance Senya would be a great option too, I was quite bummed out it wasn't possible in KotFE. ^^
  3. Would love to be able to replay the class story like we'll be able to replay post-60 chapters. <.<
  4. Ok, I’ll try to give my 2credits. The reason, I think, is kind of simple. As you probably know, each hairstyle is its own model. That’s the reason you can change it on the character select screen. The character underneath is still bald, and the hairstyle is place on top. The hoods are scaled to a character without hairstyle (since characters are bald when in hood), depending on what body type you’re using (as far as I can tell). If hair was kept underneath, it’d clip through the hood (like some helmets do) since it’d be difficult to scale to hair as they have different heights, widths etc. Now, why don’t they add new models for hair that display when the hood his on? Let’s use the human hairstyles for example (they’re shared across a number of species after all.) There 34 human hairstyles for males if you count the unlockable ones. 29 if you don’t. Now, afaik know the original hairstyles had no overlaps between genders, and females have 44 without unlocks, so that’d be 29+44 hairstyles for vanilla humans alone. That means that they’d to make ~70 new models, hairstyles (since it’d likely be difficult cutting them up and have them look good, and even then it’d be a lot of work) for humans alone. To that we can add that there are at least 3 different styles off hood in the game, ranging from tight (some inquisitor outfits) to very wide (temple guardian robes). Likely, these can’t use the same model. So then they have to, in actuality, make 70*3 new hairstyles (210, and again just for humans). This also means that they have to make 70+ new models every time they make a new hood type. It also means that every new hairstyle added to the game will in fact be at least four hairstyles (one for without hood, three for each type) at least. Now add the Cathar hairs, with two genders. Perhaps it’s not surprising this is not something they wish to do. It’s a lot of work, after all. It might be that cutting the existing hairstyles up –could- be done and that it –would- be easier, but I’m still pretty sure the work would outweigh any benefits. So… That’s likely why. That said, I see no reason the ‘hood toggle’ idea some people had wouldn’t work since Togruta (to my knowledge) already do this with any robe they were, so the functionality is already there. TL;DR: Too much work, because reasons stated above.
  5. Hm.. Though I have no idea what flags might still be there, this could be possible. At least if you're prepared to have the 1-60 stuff reset and brought to default outcome (exactly like when you create a level 60). I'm not sure it'd be as easy, but it's a much a more realistic approach.
  6. SWTOR is a great platform for RP with the Stronghold private spaces and size, and those two are mainly what I love about the game. That said, I also enjoy the story very much, as well as the PvP (hate the arenas tho). Story flashpoints are a nice bonus too. Also... It's Star Wars, and imo SWTOR has some great mechanics and ideas. Really enjoy the art direction and character design as well.
  7. I remember something about Valk saying Ziost changed him and he now views things differently (or somesuch, correct me if I'm wrong). Personal theory goes along that lines that he changed because he earlier only consumed (to my knowledge) Dark Side users, but there were plenty of Jedi on Ziost - that or he just absorbed such an immense amount of power that it changed his look on things. As for his endgoal, I don't know. IIRC he says he can exist without form/body, so possession seems irrelevant from a grand perspective, so taking the PC's body is probably not it. That said, he's obviously grooming the PC for something quite specific.
  8. 400m on my server. ^^ Managed to snag the first one that ever came up on the gtn for 19m though. Pure luck. ^^ Still think it's a unique enough weapon (far more so than the Kylo-saber stuff) to warrant a version in the CM. (Also, vibro pikes because awesome.)
  9. Really wouldn't mind a Vibro Pike either tbh. Would look awesome. ^^
  10. Niko arrived as a token in the mail to all characters existing and new, usable at level 1. There was also a specific story recruitment alert for him at Chapter 9 (I think) in KotFE.
  11. First, cred on removing stuff getting vicious. Second, I think this is a good idea. Roadmaps and communication are inherently good things for a multiplayer game. Warframe has had a great way of doing things in my opinion. I think the biggest reason this isn't so when it comes to SWTOR (and a lot of other games) is that many companies work with iterations. That is, you test out and idea and then you make changes to it as you go. These changes may be everything from small tweaks to scrapping the idea all together. Working with iterations makes it hard to talk to the community since some things might change drastically from one build to the next. With communities taking things as 'promises' when they are 'maybes', and with limited time and possibility (30min vids, blog posts) to communicate the vision as a whole, that kind of transparency -can- do more harm than good. If a community was more benevolent and willing to -not- take everything shown for granted (or believe every little thing would end the game) I think developers (in general) would be willing to increase communication and transparency. That said I, personally, believe that SWTOR would benefit from a longer. more relaxed, hangout kind of monthly stream (much like Warframe) where they have time to give a outline of the current vision and how the iterations change (or don't). That way they could be clear on -what- they're working on, how, why and -if- they are features that are to be implemented, experimental or subject to drastic change. Lastly, I have no idea if that made sense or was incoherent nonsense. I haven't slept for 32 hours and I have to much blood in my caffeine circulatory system. Apologies if it was a pointless, messy, rant.
  12. can you make sword in box light so sword come out when opened? then if sword is back after sword, use light saber on box, and saber will be boxed after sword is out. On another note.. This. ^
  13. Armor was, in pieces, in one of my character's inventory. Had to equip it, then UNequip it and it appeared in collections.
  14. A proper red/red or dark red/dark red would be nice..
  15. Gotto admit, glad to see this sorted - even if I'm worried you'll accidentally removed the BoE pike I just got from GTN since I got that stupid bug. <.< I'll try to have faith though.
  16. Signed. It's been eagerly wished for for years after all, from what I've been able to tell. More so than the shoto.
  17. Have you tried a traceroute as described in this post? Sorry if you have. It's pretty much all I can think of from what you're describing.
  18. Isn't it just that they give different choices for blade size? I thought different hilts just gave different blades? Just like some cystals have a broader effect than others from what I've noticed. Is my whole life a lie? :<
  19. Wondering this myself, honestly. There's a ton of nice shells out there for data crystals.
  20. And here's one more... Hope we'll get something good on the vendor, though I sincerely doubt it.
  21. Yes! Please! Honestly, I'd pay good CC for this, as would the rest of the people I know who play the game. At least let us pay to unlock cosmetics already ingame (like the BH tattoos on other classes, Inquisitor slave scars, general hairstyles for Cathar). By the Force if only you'd listen and do this I'd be so ***** happy.
  22. This. I -want- to give you money, BW, because I really like the game, but you've made it so I'm unable to justify it, especially with the chance cubes. I'm done. I'm out. No more CM for me unless I know what I get, more or less. BSG would get you money from me, what you do now.. Not so much. Not that it'll likely matter.
  23. Well.. I'm richer for it. If the b/s/g packs still existed I'd spend a ton of money on them. <.< Not sure if that means I'm lucky or not - but definitely got more money for other stuff. xP
  24. I'd by so much stuff if WYSIWYG... Wife too. <.< Even if the prices were high tbh. EDIT: Wife would buy stuff. I wouldn't buy a wife. I got one already. -_-'
  25. Fully agree with the OP. New packs should drop new gear (with very minor additions - gifts, certificates - to flesh out the pack) and every opening should contain at least one thing specific to that new pack (imo). People buy a new pack to get the stuff that's in it, not old things. The old bronze/silver/gold packs were great, and something I have, and would continue to, spend regular money on (unless they became diluted with crappy sets bumped to gold standard).
