I wonder just how many of those +1 will still be posting here on the forums next month, the month after etc etc. As for this thread itself.. TBH those sorts of threads are pointless ,because no ones really going to care. Rage quits threads have been posted since I've been a member, Other than a few who once posted regularly and no longer post, and not posted in a few years. Most still post. or leave for a few weeks and come back. may of quit or just not posted is anyone's guess. For a game that is 12 years old, this game is still doing OK in terms of numbers. Sure it's not like in it's heyday but did anyone think it would be. Not that many games last 12 years. Sure I know some of you can name a few that have, but compare that to how many are not going now. So if players are going to leave, just leave. You always get the change when unsubbing to give a reason in feedback on the un-subbing form. That's where you put your reasons. Not here, as said no one cares, it's not like it's going to make me unsub as well. Having a talk about what you like or dislike is what the forums are for. Rage quit threads! is not about a discussion. It's a statement. A pointless one at that.

Does it say they need name changing? I know it does for the test server, never thought about it for general servers. However if it's like the test server, you may be able to use the same name as long as that name is not taken. When you go to the server page with your characters listed it gives you the option to change name. On test server as my character names are unique to me, I just type in the name I used before. It nice however if you wanted a free name change. Best of luck.

Other than the one flirt when you ask about going for a drink, there has not been a update on that romance as of yet. Still with the new date nights at some point it will get round to it i am sure. Timewise? well probably not in the sort term. I think BS are more likely to concentrate on companions that are not tied to one class in the short term. As they did with the first 4 that get a date night.

The stronghold itself I personally don't see the issue. The door opening also tied to GS's is another matter. I do agree with you after reading about the poor deco hook system is really disappointing. Also agree it is deceiving from the outside. That however is just a poor design for a stronghold, not really about GS.

That never really occurred to me as a reason. However, yes you are probably right. Disappointed as others have said for players using multiple characters, it a drew back, or players doing GS on several servers. It is what it is. I can see why it was changed as you could get two GS points daily for just logging in. Well spotted.

Not really, since Jawa Junk has been freely available to players, craft mats have gone up not down. Been high for years. Maybe the odd mat no longer available in any other way may go even further up than the already high GTN cost. Maybe. Still as Junk was at one time really only gotten though buying cartel items I really don't see the issue. It will just go back to how it was before. BS could also reintroduce these mats as drops. So if you want them you need to play that content to get them, just as it used to be. Jawa Junk being easily gotten lasted far longer than I thought it would. BTW it still piss's me off getting Jawa Junk and companion gifts as part of cartel packs. At least now the Jawa Junk has value once again in packs. Or at least until BS changes it again. TBH there are far more things to me that are wrong than this issue. You can still buy cartel items with things like social boosts despite the fact the social system has been removed. Cartel items no longer used after players had brought them, such as activity passes. These to me are the things players should complain about. I am not in any way interested if you lose GTN sales. That still puts you on the same page as every one else. So it's not like you are losing out, as everyone else is in the same boat/position .

Well my date of joining is correct. As someone has pointed out, yes some new players do join when new story is added. As I am sure some also return for new story, or a new OP. Many like me only sub once every year or two, for story updates, as this is not my main account. Not to mention players like the one above Darviset who has decided that it time to make his voice heard. Which I think overall is good for the community. Scam, maybe, but not jumping to that myself based on what really is just a few new accounts. Not like it's in the hundreds. As for making demands, on that yes I agree which is why I just think these are players second accounts and don't want there main account scrubbed or put a risk. Just a theory I know, but seems more realistic that a scam going on. As not sure what scam it could make happen/accomplish. After all BS could easily just do a background check on the account to see how recent it is.

Overall I agree this was not a good update. Gear drops is by far the worst change, as now cannot even get gear upgrades as loot at any level. Personally Jawa Junk is not such A huge issue for me, I never really expected it to last long term, but yes can see for new or returning players this is a let-down. To me it's not just that this fitted gear for I dare say most players (Yes there will always be exceptions) is that it could not be sold either. The change for 100 credits is just so far below reasonable that for things like Treasure Hunting it's a loss of time and credits. However stay with the game, as while I am under no illusions that it go back to what it was,. Going back though BW past history (now BS) things will improve slightly over the next few patch updates as they have a history of doing so.

It is the case and we all know it is the case, WHY you ask because BW did this every single time in the past, BS won't be any different as it's the same staff, just under a different name. You only have to go back in the forum history to know it's true. The staff have zero idea of of anything concerning middle ground, it one extreme to the other. After 12 years none of us in any real terms expect this to change. Yes we all expect BS to change this slightly with every patch but at the end of the day, we the customers will always be worse off. This is true every time in the past. Someone mentioned Jawa Junk, Yes to me is the reason behind this. At one time Jawa Junk could only be gotten though Cartel Pack for the most part, this is going back to that time. I personally don't have a huge issue with that, just wish BS would be honest about it. It was good when it lasted, but BW is a company that needs an income, cartel items is a large parts of that.

Considering the amount of LI's in the game this is going to be for the most part pointless. Does each companion only ever get 1 date night? or is it going to be a lot get none? either way it be years before they all get round to having a date night or only ever get one. Having said all this, I don't mind them.

The issue is not that they drop it the sheer amount of them that drop. Not only drop as loot but also now with things like treasure hunting lock boxes. which now mean these are pointless crew missions. Having a single item and expecting any person to hold on to to try for a full set is just not going to happen, as far too many sets which take up far to much space, not to mention the wasted time in sorting them out in any reasonable order. Plus cannot be sold, though that is changing with new update to 100 credits, which is again pointless as getting them in treasure hunting boxes which cost up to 6000 to send crew on mission. Cannot be deconstructed even for character's with Sythnweaving, which to me was the point, to stop players getting jawa junk. BS just be honest, this was not done for the player base as it serves no purpose in the way it drops, it was solely done to benefit you, so the only way to get jawa junk again is by buying cartel packs. That in itself is not a huge issue as this is how it was at first when jawa junk first was introduced into the game. Just be honest about it.

My issue with the Stronghold is that other than 1 door which can be opened with credits (if you are a sub) none of the other can be unless you go though the season. Which is fine for the two accounts I am subbed with at present time. My other accounts however, I can get the stronghold but never open it up. Even at a later date if I sub. I go though my accounts subbing only maybe once a year or every other year. Only have one account going full time. However even if I did sub to all of them I could never work though galactic seasons on all of them, just not enough time. I think this is just short sited by BS to do it this way. On my F2P accounts only doing the first level to get the stronghold. As of yet not gone though GS enough to open any doors except the one you can buy with credits. Reading though the comments on this thread about poor deco hooks is disappointing. Deco aside or lank of available deco hooks, over all I do like the stronghold. New strongholds in future been gotten though GS is OK. Just more thought need to go into it on how it can be opened up. Having the vast majority of doors locked right at entry point was just very poor thinking on your part BS, however can easily be corrected by allowing the door tokens being brought with season tokens at a later time. Out of interest, it says some can only be opened with CC, how much are these 3 doors to open? I some just buy there way though the season with CC so someone knows the answer.

You can get clear info on gear....about a week before it comes out. Same as all the other xpacs. Really not sure why players ask this question every time a new Xpac is forthcoming. You been playing long enough to already know the answer without asking.
