I have not seen any of those 10k valor tokens in missions, only from Login rewards

Hello, first time poster on this and player ever since 2014. I was never much of a PVP player and only rarely ever did it just for the S**** and giggles. However now that SWTOR is on Steam and the achievements are on there i've been wanting to complete it. I never actually realized how SLOW the progression of Valor is in this game. Like i didn't expect for Valor EXP to be capped at a measly 3k, like why put a cap on it at all? And why not give Valor EXP after completing weekly's?
