They mentioned conquering planets but then they said it would be PvE. I'm guessing the ONLY "benefit" is that maybe PvPers will be able to "gank" PvEers (at least on PvP servers) in the open World while PvEers try to "conquer" planets.
BioEAware could sure take a lot of notes from FFXIV reborn's dev team. In fact, TOR should just be shutdown and remade again due to all the *** ups and disappointments.
Since the previous dev team developed this game with that mindscope, it's no wonder that this game saw a hemorrhaging of subscribers right after launch. MMOers wanted MASSIVELY MULTIPLAYER content, not solo content that lasts 1 to 2 weeks.
OP, subs have already been hemorrhaging ever since the major lack of endgame PvP and PvE content in SWToR. It still continues to this day because all BioEAware cares about is focusing on the cash shop to gouge the playerbase to purchase more reskinned cosmetic items.
Past games like Diablo 3, Gw2, ESO, Titanfall and the upcoming Wildstar are part of the reason this game saw players leave en masse. To say there are any areas in this game that are crowded is simply misinformation.
BioEAware said that they'd take kill traders and win traders seriously for vanilla Ilum world PvP and ranked season 1 respectively. Look how that turned out.
^This. The cash shop only helps fund the greedy investors of EA and to the department to reskin the same tired ****** every month. All the devs care at this point is gouging the playerbase and you drones fall for it.
They could use that revenue to develop actual content instead of releasing the same tired garbage every 4 weeks. No wonder TOR is bleeding subs and people are flocking to ESO and Wildstar
