  1. unsubbed free time left only doubt ver much ill ever come back.

     

    everyones pretty much stated the reasons but the final straw that made me give up the other day was

     

    I have a sniper playing lethality build I have 20,100 hp nearly in full war hero gear 1200 exp so my gears pretty good, had one operative who as also in same sort of gear pwn me so hard from full hp to 15% hp 3 times in a row followed by stealth opener again to finish me off 100%-0 % doing nothing all because escape was on cooldown.

     

    no doubt people will say its impossible cant happen feel free to go speak to android on tomb of freedom nad server im sure he would love to gloat on how easy my deaths where

     

    games a joke maras tank hybrids

     

    dailys that mean nothing

     

    tab target system tottaly broken

     

    this list is endless and seemignly there more bothered about legacvy fluff that must ahve been the biggest waste of time implemented in a mmo along side there full voice animation

     

    enjoy going down the same road as warhammer its going to happen

     

    the box should have a gabe warning on it so suckers like me dont get pulled into another half arsed game

    Love when our two guild premades get broken up with 2 afk pugs that do nothing helpfull and on top of that it is 6v8 with them but it is really like 4v8.

  3. That's the main issue melee has. They don't have the range option or LoS option if a range turns on them while they are attacking someone else. That's why melee classes have more cool downs or higher armor.

     

    then surely its 2v1 and they should die anyway?

  4. Please please please give people a reason to go check out and play your old/new dungeons via changing your daily and weekly quests to black hole comms

     

    its getting so hard/pointless to try and get a group as most people are in rakata and above making all your instances a waste of time.

     

    Please implement the above so it would broaden the amount of people wanting to go to instances and giving people something else to do and anotherway to attain gear although at a much much slower rate then if you where raiding

  5. The difference in gear between recruit and WH isn't earthshattering, by any means. If you're still getting roflstomped, I'm sorry to say but... You might be bad.

  6. all I see you saying here is that you are ganking a mara while the mara is fighting someone else...when he finally kills that person and comes for you..you are able to finish him off.

     

    tbh I read exactly the same thing of course a range can steamroll a mara if hes ignoring you, the fact is when hes not and hes a competent player it will be the opposite.

     

    a competent mara isnt letting you get 10 grav/tracer rounds of now is he

  8. The danger with (pyro) powertechs is that they can kill you before you get into your rotation. If they don't get railshot crits and resets, they're not much. If they do, they can open with unrivaled burst. Going with vanguard terms because I know them better, AP-Incin-HIB-stockstrike-HIB can deliver well over 15k damage in 4 globals (AP hits during the global after it was cast).

     

    Only way to match that as a sent is a uninterrupted full-crit Master strike followed by Merciless and Dispatch, but that requires us to have 7 Focus built at the end of Master Strike, and simply walking away prevents 4500-5500 of that damage and costs us a global. Master Strike also has double the cd of the longest CD (AP) in the pyro's burst rotation.

     

     

    It's not. It's simply psychologically different so they rage about it.

     

     

    stun last for 4 seconds undying talented is longer

     

    you can use undying rage when you have full resolve not to be stunned

     

    undying rage was meant to be used as a defensive skill yet its used as offensive skill (ret palas bubble anyone)

     

    no other class in game can get to 10% then become immune to damage, then proceed to face roll on full reesolve for another x secs then pop hp useable, simply put the other class would have already been dead in those x seconds

     

    but what ever you keep thinking that soon youll just be playing with maras tank assasins and powertechs as everyone else has quit the game

     

    simple fix for me would be when undying rage is up 50% damage debuff occurs,

  9. The "fact" is that true, skilled pvpers will find joy and a good time playing any game that is even remotely headed in the right direction. About 1,000 people just on this forum unsub and then come here whining about how bad pvp is. But in reality, you whiners couldn't cut it in a competitive environment. Just like why people started quitting wow, for the longest time blizzard didnt cater to casuals. And you people are casuals. You couldn't hack it on a skilled scale so you scream the sky is falling and this game sucks. The game is fine. It's annoying beyond belief to hear scrubs whine.

  10. Basic/Classic WoW Rogue combat flow during team fight situations under DR:

     

    * [out of combat] - Sap 8 seconds - Sap 4 seconds - Sap 2 seconds + [combat] Cheap Shot 4 seconds - [Kidney Shot] 3 seconds ....

     

    A total of 21 seconds spent under control, among them 7 seconds hard stun. This isn't even counting advanced combat management where the rogue player takes into account the DR reset timer, goes into Vanish and restarts the whole cycle.

     

    Compare that to the simple rule of "two controls will give you immunity" in SWTOR, and the maximum duration of 8 seconds for back to back hard stuns, and then tell me DR makes more sense.

  11. well he aint far wrong on tofn repblic side all I ever see now is assasins and maras in pugs

     

    in premades its maras jugs assasins ops healers

     

    in every single game you play now you can almost guarantee that rep or imp will be prodomently made up with those 2 classes

     

    every so often you see a few sorcs/bhs then very rarely you see op dps and snipers

  12. I have no idea why you think operatives can spam high damage abilties. Hidden strike is on an 8s cooldown and requires stealth.

     

    Shiv is on a 6s cooldown and is our only ability (besides Hidden Strike, which again can only be used from stealth) that grants Tactical Advantage.

     

    Backstab is also on a 12s cooldown and on top of that requires you to be behind your target (admittedly it isn't hard but still more work than using normal abilities)

     

    Lacerate isn't a burst ability and even on crits does average damage that any other class can surpass. Lacerate also requires tactical advantage.

     

    Explosive probe is on a 30s cooldown (requires cover) and hits for around 3k crits.

     

    The only actual abilities we can spam are Corrosive dart, (2k damage over 15 seconds, 20 energy 1/5 of a full energy bar)snipe, and rifle shot (basic attack). (1.5s cast that does anywhere between 800-2k damage on equal geared players and requires cover) Overload shot is also spammable but does a laughable 600-1200 damage (even on crits) that requires 17 energy. (which with diminishing energy returns quite a lot)

     

    Fragmentation grenade 6s

    Orbital Strike 1m

    I'm not saying operative burst is bad (it isn't though certainly not the best either) but the fact that you think we spam abilities just shows us that you have never played an operative.

     

    Are we the best pvp healer? Probably, though we aren't so far ahead of sorcs. (though mercs could use a buff)

     

    Also without sneak (1m cooldown) stealth can be seen from up to 17m away which is quite a distance.

     

    As for stun locking Hidden strike is a 1.5s knockdown (you heard right a whole single global cooldown!) and debilitate (4s stun). with just those two stuns your character is now at full resolve (half the time just after a hidden strike due to its ridiculous resolve building and other people in the wz). As for flash bang, yes it is amazing but you cant stun lock anyone with it because its a mezz and wears off if you take any damage.

     

    As for utility we only have infilitrate and flash bang. (again great aoe mezz) Infiltrate can be useful but requires out of combat and only people within 10 meters (and stay within 10 meters) are cloaked for 15s. Honestly infiltrate is pretty much only useful in the opening of voidstar.

     

    And on a final note operatives also only have 1 escape mechanism and that is cloaking screen, a standard vanish ability. It has a 2m cooldown and to be used effectively requires evasion (so you don't instantly pop to any dots on you) and sneak (as said earlier stealth is very easy to spot, I can't tell you how many times I have been immediately grappled back to the enemy). That requires 3 1m + cooldown abilities to either escape or reposition for a better advantage.

     

    they need to tone down the intial burst and give you more sustained dps which inturn leads to more problems as your going to be up close getting pwned by aoe and other melee.

     

    Ops are in a rock and a hard place atm, you can already take some classes down to 20% who have 1000+ expertise without them being able to do nothing, you put a gap closer in that there not going to be very happy.

     

    hole class needs a overhaul imho, they seemingly just buffed op healers to componsate for not knowing what to do to dps trees

  13. As title says can you please fix or even acknowledge that cover pulse is broken

     

    Im sick to death of positioning myself in huttball to stop ball carriers, to knock them down a level back etc and you hit cover pulse and it does NOTHING even if the(insert any class here ) has ZERO RESOLVE no cd use for immunity etc.

     

    I realise some classes you cannot knockback if there immuntiy is up i.e a veng jugg if they just charge for 4 secs after etc, im talking about any class just waltzing up to you with normal buffs and it doing NOTHING then proceeding to mash your face or run to the goal line

     

    fix it, instead of working on your fluff legacy

  14. depends when the figures comes out for subs, personelly I dont actually think they gave us the free month on a wim it was proberly because it would show there shareholders that it had more people playing then it actually would have if they didnt give us free time.

     

    regardless I think the subs will have dropped by a substantial amount proberly 1/3 rd bring subs down to 1.2 million.

     

    personelly cancelled myself due to nothing to do but pvp.

     

    things that would made me stay...maybe

     

    new instances actually worth doing, story mode easier, hm harder. Lost island worth going to anyone?

     

    dailys--- another waste of time the new area should have been all black hole comms so if you wanted to you could gear up that way, but at a slower pace, having the daily comms same as old dailys gives no progression

    again boring

    daily instance should have given 6 bh comms as well, no point again going if geared leaving less groups to go with, same as weekly

     

    pvp balance , resolve

     

    World pvp.(non existent atm areas seperated so you dont even meet each other levelling to 1-50 on one of the busyest servers and having 1 pvp fight is LOLOLOLOL

     

    and the biggest pile of dog ....... ive ever seen LEGACY what exactly is the point of this... you spouted so muchs fluff about this and tbh if i wnated to make a alt legacy should have been giving items that had +xp to quests legacy levels gave + xp also making the grind more appealing to make alts, not all of us want t spam space bar through the wasted voice over rubbish, but no doubt that will come in 1.3...and 5 mins before it will be cancelled.

     

    i really did make alot of my friends play this game and switch over from other games.

     

    my friendslist now consists of everyone offline, my guild has no more then 5 people online at once from 40+

     

    And the tip of the iceburg for me was when i logged in and severel items had dissapeared bm gear I did a ticket 14 days later i got a answer saying they would look into it another 4 days later i receieved another message stating the gear has changed stats from old bm to new bm....I freaking know that you idiots the gear was gone seriously learn to read what people right on there tickets instead of your generic crap.

     

    I didnt want the game to fail but feel as its biowares first mmo they havent produced what they call a triple a mmo more like a b -.

    The game is worth playing and if you can't up your skillset or get a decent guild then that sucks for you. Frankly it should be no reason to come on these forums and support the idea of not playing the game.

     

    and this franky is where the problem lies due to premades face rolling pugs , if bio ware actually made it so prems faced prems then proberly the casual whine would go down, no body like playing 5 games and getting rolled on just because they arnt guilded or in a prem.

     

    Yes they can get guilded yes they can form there own premade, but like many people (casuals) they dont have the time to commit or do this and only leads them to unsubbing which is overall BAD FOR EVERYONE just because there getting steamrolled with no real way to get gear only over a very long period.

     

    which always leads back to the gear vs skill argument.

     

    if your rolling with a premade I would imagine the games a hell of a lot of fun flip the coin over and see what the others think

  16. I looked at it... meh. I don't really have an issue with Undying Rage. It's a whopping 5 seconds. If you've blow all your CDs and CC before then you were going to lose the fight anyways. I have defensive abilities too, and CC to laugh at them while they count the seconds before imminent doom. Yes, Undying Rage can be very annoying, but it's not OP or broken. Most classes have a way to deal with it.

     

     

    im sorry this is just rubbish

     

    if I see a mara and im on 100% hp and hes on 10% hp and I have no way to stun/mez as its just been used on another fight why should the mara get a free 6 secs spank on me when he should just be 1 shotted like EVERY OTHER CLASS WOULD BE

     

    it wouldnt be so bad if the damage was reduced by half but its just immortal mode especially when they got full resolve

  17. maras may not have changed that much since the patch the problem was expertise 1.2 + a great scaling class + defensive low cooldown class was always going to be op post 1.2

     

    they need to change undying rage to balance the class as atm its just total game breaking if the person has full resolve, no other class can pump out so much damage on 5% hp with full resolve like a mara

     

    its getting boring now its like sorcs all over again when you enter a bg and all you just see double glowies everywhere

  18. the only class your gooner hit for 6k is a sorc

     

    ive got 2 wh gear bm all remodded for power/crit surge and augemented 5 items with cunning +18s, highest crit so far on a sorc healer with 20% armour debuff 15% excpertice 405 power adrenal +rakata adrenal hit for 6.1k (grated this is lethality)

     

    anything else you wont be hitting those kind of numbers

     

     

    getting the 5k medal has yes become easier when adrenals up for mm id imagine you hit for 5k a lot

    the only problem is normally all you see is deflect anyway

     

    not exactly game breeaking when every other class can hit for 4k in half the time

     

    tbh its dumb we didnt need more damage more survavabilty would ahve been better
