  1. Is there some issue here that I'm missing?
  2. I love my Watchman Sentinel. None of my characters are nearly as fun. Not my gunslinger, commando, or agent. He has so many abilities that I'm never at a loss for something to hit the other guy with or to protect myself with. This goes for PvE AND PvP. Ever since the ability lag update went in, my Sentinel has been a hurricane of pain and fire. One of the best outcomes is that my force kick actually fires off when I hit the button. Healers are my primary target for obvious reasons. That doesn't mean they're easy to kill. The good ones still live for minutes longer than other classes, but any time spent trying to stay alive means no one else is getting their heals, and I'm just fine with that. The bad ones just die, all the better. I've even some up with some great kill combos from 3/4 focus! Force Leap -> Saber Overload -> Cauterize -> Strike (Zealous Strike if I need focus) -> Force Stasis (So I can watch them dangle and burn) -> Master Strike -> Cancel last Big Windup into Merciless Slash -> Slash -> Dispatch if applicable. You do the math on what just happened. Talented Force Camo stops SO MUCH DAMAGE. Especially if BHs are stacking Thermal Dets or sticky darts on me. And Guarded by the Force. SO GOOD. Few dot crits on them means a good chunk of healing with zen up. And Pacify. The bane of snipers and marauders everywhere. With all of these traits and abilities I regularly win 1v2s in WZs and Illum. I won't usually run from 1v3's either, because I know I still have a good chance. I actually believe that a 20-button mouse is required to play this class properly. Luckily I happen to have one of those! Anyways, why I posted this is because I'd like to know BioWare's stance on Sentinels and what plans they have for them in 1.2. As you can tell, I'm rather happy where I am at the moment, with Watchman spec atleast. Watchman Sentinel is pretty close to perfect. The only changes I'd ask for is a longer duration for the overload saber buff to be on you (Not the enemy, on the Sentinel himself) so I can more easily keep 3 stacks up. Same for Merciless Slash, the margin to use its cooldown reduction buff is ludicrously small. 3 seconds for both should do it. Now Combat and Focus....garbage. Just absolute garbage. No real defensive options in either tree and the damage isn't higher than Watchman as to justify that. They either need MUCH more damage or defensive bonuses added to saber ward, etc. So, I'm asking what you plan to do with Sentinel, if anything. If it were up to me, I'd leave Watchman pretty much alone and focus on Combat and ... Focus. Yeah. Thanks for reading!
  3. Just wanted to chime in here a moment. Force Fade is vital in your survivability as a watchman. Dots are more damage than most people realize, and watchman should already be especially aware of this fact. Not to mention explosive darts and "crushing" dots that always save the biggest hits for last. Not to mention walking through AoEs, Fire, dodging tracer missile spam, etc. It's not just the health you have at 5% health that you save, the health you have at 90% matters too. This is the secret to being a good watchman, keeping yourself alive long enough to make that high sustained damage matter.
  4. Then they're ALL useless. Magnificent. No crew skill progression should end with, "Welp, don't need this crew skill anymore."
  5. This is astounding. I cannot believe the ridiculous disconnect that the moderators of this forum and the actual game devs seem to have with their own game. Does EA not allow their own employees to play their games or what? Examples: Problem: Most crew skills are pushed aside for raiding except for biochem, which brings the only actual useful items to OPs and PVP. Solution: To nerf Biochem into dust as to not allow one crew skill to be found more valuable than others, rather than add recipes to the other crafting skills that can actually stand up to anything found in OPs or PVP itself. Disclaimer: None of my characters have Biochem as a crew skill. ----------------------------- Problem: PVP bags rely too heavily on RNG to distribute champion items to allow a player to compete with those that already have full champion and are working on battlemaster. Solution: Allow faster collection of sub-par items through higher centurion token collection and slower accumulation of champion items through lower RNG chance while STILL allowing for multiple repeat items whenever one of these tokens is found. Disclaimer: I was one of the lucky few who has actually collected all the champion items. ----------------------------- Problem: Sentinels/Marauders have a bugged talent that grants 30% increased total damage to burns rather than 30% increased crit damage. Fixing this would reduce the current damage of Sent/Mara DPS, which is already at an optimal value. Solution: Fix the talent, and increase the base damage bonus of another higher talent, and promise that it is a DPS increase, while failing to do ACTUAL MATH, thus creating a DPS LOSS from its current damage and to have completely incorrect patch notes as well. Disclaimer: I am a Sentinel, this makes me angry. Look at the PTR forums for the actual math. With things like this, and others like the OP/Scoundrel "fix", WZ credit bugs, terrible optimization, Illum PVP debacles, how can we believe that you're actually listening to us? Again, it is ASTOUNDING how out of touch the devs seem to be with this game. And the forum mods are no better. Talking down to posters, not READING the entire posts before responding, simply being ignorant of the subject of the post, it's incredible. I'm not the only one who feels this way, right?
  6. There is just something inherently flawed with thinking like this. Something ugly, down to the core. Whoever thinks like this just wants to control other people more than anything. The irony of it is that they can barely control themselves and cannot stand to see others have a grasp of what's going on around them and the ability to evolve in response to that environment. People like you make me very sad. Even more so that so many people in this thread think the same way. What I'm basically saying is that half of the people in this thread need to grow up and stop pushing their self-imposed limitations on others. If you want to limit yourself to one class, one spec, one party, one drink, one food, one whatever, fine! But the rest of us will enjoy our love of variety! Also, some of us don't get a lot of time to play, and would rather not have some childish, live at home, no job/family/responsibility hermits tell us that we need to grind the same story over and over again just to experience commando as a healer and as a dps. What the hell is the matter with you?
