  1. I too am having the same issue. I tried the fix suggested above, but I don't seem to have a compatibility tab to change....any suggestions?? I've had this happen before, but usually I just log out , close the game, and then log back in and it works normally after that, but not this time. OK the above fix does work but it's explained more accurately here. 07.20.2020 , 05:00 PM | #6 REPORT POST QUOTE The work around that actually works 100% of the time and doesn’t require you to download the game again. Find the launcher.exe file in your swtor game folder. Right click it and go to properties Find the compatibility mode setting and select Windows XP SP3. Click apply and close. Now when you launch the game it won’t get stuck in quick play mode. To find the launcher.exe file... click on the following things.. Drive where your game is installed. Program files (x86) folder Electronic Arts folder BioWare folder Star wars - the old republic folder Right click the launcher icon Follow the previous instructions stated above. May The Force Be With You!!!
  2. Well since I didn't get any responses, I checked around the forums and found this link. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=729911 . Unfortunately it didn't work, but it did help me. I talked to someone in my guild and he suggested deleting the whole "BitRaider" , folder, instead of just the "config", folder and the xfr files. This worked, so if anyone else has a problem like this, use the link and if it doesn't work, use the second option. Also make sure the game and/or launcher are closed first.
  3. People of the SWTOR community.... I recently downloaded the 5.0 update, and when it was finished, I went to start playing and there was a message that the update was at 99.98%. So that means that all that was available to me was the "Quick Play Mode", where you have to create a new character and can only play on one of the home worlds, until the update is complete. Well that was days ago, so that must be an awfully big .02%. Obviously something went wrong or is corrupted. I downloaded the 5.0a update hoping that it would fix my problem ,but it didn't. I can't use the repair installation option on the launcher, because it won't let you until the patching is completed. I created a ticket, but that could take weeks before I get a response. Anybody else ever have this problem or any ideas how to fix it? Any help would be greatly appreciated...Thanks!!!
