  1. I don't post on the forums much, if not at all really. But with the KOTFE expansion (putting aside it's staggered release just to milk money off subs), the beginning at least was enjoyable. At first, I didn't like the whole "Third Enemy" approach which seems to be MMO's goto to bring our more expansions and such, instead I would of liked more traditional expansion with Republic fighting the Imperials in the GREAT GALACTIC WAR which we're supposed to be fighting in. - That aside... I like the Zakuul, their formation is sketchy and there is a lot left unsaid along with the Emperor seeming to do a 180 on dark-side corruption and generally dying within the first five minutes of the first Chapter, I'd criticize the that decision. But more to overall thoughts. The expansion is better, in terms over overall effort which seems clear to me there has been more of. Both in terms of story presentation, level design, boss fights and the little things. You You get a thumbs up from me on those improvements. HOWEVER these improves with fighting on a level are coupled with, for some reason, the easiest missions I have ever came across on this game. Literally, Bioware. Sort this out pronto, a lot of the cool features you've added such as grenades, force powers and the turrets from the latest chapter are COMPLETELY useless and in my experience did not make the game-play easier or more rewarding because I can just walk upto the enemy and spank him without worrying about dying. I don't think nerfing companions is the right way to steer it, just instead make the enemies more challenging! Not just throw more of them at us. Though, onto my main issue with KOTFE. The story, or "journey" or whatever you wish to call it. I believe that it is, and I am going to be blunt, crap. Now, there are elements I like, even though it started off on the wrong footing. But the ending to Chapter 16? Are you serious? Choices matter, do they? Really? Because if anything it looks to me more like you want to milk the communities **** some more than reward them for 16 CHAPTERS of easy as arse pie mob spam, dilly-dallying and an Entire Galaxies worth being fitted into a 5x5m room. IT is overall disappointing. And what makes it worse, I can't tell if this is due to you guys' being told to make more money, as much as possible. Or you have the story-writing ability of someone who just does not know how to make it feel rewarding or knowing when it should end. ---------------------------------SPOILERS------------------------- If you give me the Option to kill Satele, don't throw it back in my face. If you give me the Option to kill Arcann, don't throw it back in my face. If you give me the Option to Kill Arcann and Senya, don't throw it back in my face. You don't seem to understand that we're playing characters and we want our choices to matter. WE ACTUALLY WANT YOU TO DO EXTRA WORK SO THAT OUR CHOICES ARE ACCOMMODATED. But seriously, think of it like this. This Sub-par storytelling experience has driven, with the addition to lack of PvP and PvE content, to go an play World of Warcraft or other MMOs/games (Even caused one to try to become a marine engineer, which isn't bad.) so you're losing money on that front. And for context, I am a Role-player. And often, complaints about role-play guild stories is that what you do in certain "events" are either meaningless or scripted. In which case, we're not playing a Role-Play game anymore. We're playing a MMO-like game with a linear "campaign" in which "choices" are presented to us but are meaningless. My advice? Tell whoever it is in charge of the "Creative Design" to step up their game or you'll find someone else, heck. I bet you could find really good ideas posted here on the forums, maybe even deeper ones on the SWTOR-RP enjin. But for my love of SWTOR stop murdering the story, you need someone on your team who is a meticulous quality-checker.
