Coming back to the game after a break, never been 100% sold on the game but pretty into it right now, at least until my sub ends in 2 months, then I may or may not re-new, not sure. Anyway I have 2 republic characters so far and 1 imperial, not sure which side im sold on, just been playing w/e looks cool but ATM spending more time on republic. Thats what I did, giving commando a try, so far pretty dope. @Dawnscar, I haven't taken your tips because you aren't delivering them nicely, your posts are a bit rude and snotty. I don't usually follow guides I prefer player opinions that have played the class and know its strengths and weaknesses best and can help.

Thank you. I will research them and see what they provide. Maybe I should not have said a distance though, I basically just mean range. I'm terribly at explaining stuff. As long as I'm not phsyically IN peoples faces bashing them. I know that in pve range still get hit sometimes, in pvp ranged still get targeted, I just feel less pressure at a distance. Been that way in all the MMOs I play, even WOW. Edit : I'd also like to note I enjoy glass cannons sometimes. I'll just do some research and see what appeals the most to me.

Sorry for the lack of info, I honestly didn't expect a quick response. I suppose what I'm looking for a more dps then anything, stay in the back dish it out at a distance, and be balanced at both pvp and pve, I've never gone past level 33 so I'm not sure how the end game dungeons are or pvp even so I don't want to pick a class that's ONLY good at 1 thing you feel?

Looking to skip to 60, want to know what the best character at max level is, ranged because I suck at melee for some reason. So either Sage/Sorc, or one of the gun peoples. Commando was eyeing me, as well as some of the others, but not sure how they perform.

What's the deal with that? I tried calling support but I could barely understand the guy, all I heard was muffled voices and static. I just purchased a month of membership, can I make it 2 months with this deal or am I not understanding? Thanks for reading. Second question too if you don't mind. Can you retreive deleted characters? I know sometimes blizzard used to do stuff like that, will EA or whomever runs these servers do so? I just deleted all mine because I wanted to start fresh but now that I've got membership I realized I can now mail myself items and could have saved all my credits and rare gears.
