Since the start of the galactic war, the forces of good have fought against the forces of evil. When the invasion of Tython and Korriban occurred, there were many unanswered questions. The Jedi Order, along with the Republic military and navy came together under the thought that "we are stronger together than apart." From this, they contacted the Corellian Jedi and the Akar Kesh about joining this growing coalition. As the coalition grew, smugglers and privateers sought to join up as well. Thus Argent Watch was formed.
With the RSS Affinity as the flagship of Argent Watch, this coalition traveled around the galaxy, battling against the Sith Empire and other forces of evil. Saving countless lives of innocent people throughout the galaxy, the Argent Watch always remain vigilant against the forces of evil. Over time the Argent Watch has grown from its simple one ship and now encompasses a much larger sized force with even a planetary base of operations kept in secret of where they can work from to battle the forces of evil!
In 15 ATC, the galaxy, as everyone knew it, was turned on its side. The Eternal Empire attacked the Republic and Sith Empire simultaneously. Countless lives were lost and even more lost hope as the Eternal throne dominated the galaxy.
Argent Watch turned their attention to stopping the Eternal throne from dominating the Republic. However, with the treaty signed by the Republic with the Eternal throne, fighting against the Eternal Fleet was made even harder. The treaty, designed to weaken both the Republic and Empire, kept the Republic as a servant to the Eternal Empire.
However, many within the Republic did not agree with this treaty. They sought ways to work around the treaty and to protect the Republic.
Argent Watch has stood against the occupation of the Republic by the Eternal Empire. But this has put them at odds with those within the Republic who agree with the treaty. While Argent Watch continues to protect the people of the galaxy and stand against any evil, they also must be wary of those within the Republic who seek to keep the Eternal throne in power in the galaxy.
To this day, Argent Watch continues to be a beacon of hope for the galaxy. To stand against those who would seek to dominate and destroy what is good in the galaxy. To be something the people of the galaxy can believe in.
What is Argent Watch?
The focus of Argent Watch is a role playing as a coalition of forces aboard the RSS Affinity and the small fleet that has formed over the years, seeking out threats to the Republic and galaxy, and fighting against them. The ultimate goal is to protect the people living in the galaxy from becoming a footnote in the history of the galaxy.
Argent Watch is made up of several larger groups. There are Jedi from the Jedi Order following the traditional Jedi path. There are Jedi from the Corellian Jedi Order as well.
A new group, known as the Akar Kesh, have joined as well. They are a Gray Force user group who follow the ways of the Je'daii.
Additional Force using groups may, in time, join the Argent Watch. All force using groups, however, all are here to help stop the Sith and their misuse of the Force and other enemies that would strip freedom and choice from the innocent.
While the Republic no longer has active troops aboard the Affinity or within the Watch's ranks. There are those who left the Republics military during the Zakuul crisis and then the treaty following in hopes to find a way to fight back against the enemies that they now face.
Various smaller non-force sensitive groups have joined the Argent Watch, some smugglers and others.
With this diverse group, everyone involved is dedicated to the cause of the Argent Watch. Everyone works together and respects those who are from a different background. In the end, they all know that together, we can handle any evil that is hiding in some dark corner of the galaxy.
Argent Watch is involved in all aspects of Star Wars: The Old Republic, from role playing, PvE, PvP, Galactic Starfighter, etc. We are a family friendly guild.
We encourage random role play, so feel free to walk up to any Argent Watch member and start role playing.
All events that are hosted by Argent Watch are open to everyone.
Argent Watch Branches
Jedi Order Branch - Traditional Jedi from the Jedi Order.
Corellian Jedi Branch - Corellian Jedi from around the galaxy.
Akar Kesh Branch - Akar Kesh are a Gray Force user group, who follow the ways of the Je'daii.
Military Branch - Military and Navy
Freelancer Branch - Those who are not in the Republic military or part of any of the above Force groups.
Redeemed Branch - Those who have decided to seek redemption from the dark side and help stop the evils in the galaxy.
History:
Argent Watch was started on January 1, 2015 on the Ebon Hawk server by McCay, Agramor, Goto, Laurance, Shriena, Sylesse, and Wakanda. Argent Watch focus on quality role play and providing quality stories and adventures.
