  1. Are you kidding right now? How can someone be that dumb? If you are the guild leader, you deserve to be robbed, if you are an officer, you should have your privileges removed for being so dumb. Why would you promote someone who has joined a few minutes ago? Even if it is an alt of an officer, let the new accounts be as is. If that guy wanted the XP boost, you could have gotten it out for him or told him to log in to his main toon and remove it.
  2. The main thing that pisses me off about Assassins is that they were given Fadeout/Emersion in ADDITION to all the other amazing utilities they have. There is literally no reason to play a Sorcerer now because now Assassins can have stealth, combat stun exit, a god damned TELEPORT!, stun immunity, DoTS and DoT spread, some ranged abilities, AND fadeout! Before 3.0 Fadeout/Emersion used to be a Sorc only ability because it was for the healers to be able to get away and save themselves. There is absolutely NO reason for assassins to have fadeout in their utilities list. First off, they can stealth, then they can use combat stealth exit, they can teleport but no, the Devs thought Assassins needed another exit so they gave them the 1 ability that made Sorcs special. Seriously, what the hell guys.... you dont need to give Assassins 4 flippin escapes..... IMO to fix this class, all the Devs need to do is take away Fadeout and the stun immunity and the class will be okish. Maybe they can nerf the DPS a bit but honestly, a good player should be able to counter an Assassin that doesnt have fadeout and the stun immunity.

Setup: Do your proper Madness rotation to get all the DoTs on them and make sure they get the debuffs to increase force damage from Demolish Burst: Recklessness + polarity shift + Unlimited Power + spam force lightning like you dont have anything else keybinded
  4. I suggested before that they could just make everyone lv 60 in midbies for warzones so that they get all the discipline skills and all 7 utility choices. Maybe when the player in midbies queues for a warzone, the game would have a popup saying that entering a warzone will boost them to lv 60 and that they can now choose which utilities they want for the warzone. Once the warzone is over, the game would revert them back to their current level and revert their utilities back to before they had chosen the set for the warzone. Maybe even leave a check box or something to save your utility selection and keybinds bar if you are going to be queuing over and over again.
  5. The top "PVPers" on Jung Ma are probably going to be either Reign or Vicious on the Imperial side. For Pub side, it would be Vicious's guild, Shots Fired. Most other Pub guilds are bottom tier in PVP so they arent worth mentioning.
  6. Why dont you just stun them with the dart and when they break it, throw a flashbang at his face? That takes the sorc out of the equation fully and then you can use your burst on another player
  7. This is really the easiest solution but I doubt BW would do it because they never have given any support for PVP.
  8. Voidstar has basically become which team has the most Sorcs/Sages that can spam lightning storm at the door. I had a game just yesterday where 1 Sorc stood on the sides and spammed Lightning storm all game at the western door or when he died, he rotated to the Eastern door. We lost the match and that Sorc, who only did Lightning Storm for the entire game had 900k damage. Please, someone tell me that is working as intended because if so Ill get on my Sorc and only cast Lightning Storm so I can get close to 1 mil in damage.

The reality is that only a fraction of the subscribers have bought Shadow of Revan and that the vast majority of the games players will be forever stuck in the midbie range. This idea is to help those players have a balanced game because guess what, SWTOR is not only designed for the small minority who is subscribed AND has bought SoR

So I was thinking about midbies and how many people complain about lv 30s fighting lv 55s or 59s and thought why not just make it so that when people join the warzone in midbies, the game converts them to a lv 60 temporarily and gives them the full discipline tree. In the 1 minute before the match you have for set up, you can select your 7 utility choices and get ready for the match. That way your abilities will be exactly the same and Bolster will have your health and damage as if you were lv 60 anyways so it would be much more fair. Once the warzone ends, you get transferred back to the game and back to where your level was currently. To save even more time if you WZ frequently, you can have an option to save your Warzone utility selection through future warzones so you dont have to select the 7 every time.
  11. I waited a nearly a week for my last ticket to be answered. They said sorry for the wait because of SoR they had a buttload of new tickets that they cant handle on time. I think they are just overwhelmed with the amount of tickets right now...

  15. So.....I think this is the elephant in the room that nobody is addressing. Why was the Cartel Market Cert nerfed from the slot machines? It doesnt have any effect on the economy other than some decor item prices and for most people, it enables them to buy amazing cartel market gear which they would not have access to. Ive seen the other posts about having 2000 rolls and stuff and only getting 1 or 2 CM Certs, which I think is ridiculous for a drop rate of something which is 100% a decor/gear item. Can we either please bring its drop rate to 2% or maybe if you want a compromise, something like .5%? Theres no reason to nerf an item which has almost no effect on crafting or the economy in the game but which is something which is a pretty nice gift to new players.
  16. People need to read all the posts in the thread before posting. This is most likely a regression of the code because before when GSH dropped, they had mistakenly put the other crafting material as needed but then a few days later, changed it so that SPP was the crafting material needed. Now with 3.0 which has changed the code again, some issues probably arose where it unintentionally changed the crafting mats back to the pre-GSH patch fix. When BW realizes this, they will fix it, like they did before.

I was really excited for the new Cleanse change to remove stuns from players because I assumed that we would be able to cleanse ourselves of the stuns just like we can cleanse ourselves of any DoTs in PVE which meant that stuns wouldnt be OP in Warzones anymore. Imagine that, no more stun locks and dying in 3 seconds! How awesome would that be... But then 3.0 hit and apparently you cant cleanse a stun off yourself. That pretty much ruins the whole idea behind allowing stuns to be cleansed because if you cant use them on yourself, they arent going to ever be used. Healers in Warzones will never cleanse a stun off a player because the time they spend cleansing a stun is time not used to heal other people who are getting damaged. Also stuns are so quick that theres no human that can react to see a person get stunned, click the cleanse button, and then go back to healing whoever was being healed. In order for a cleanse on a stun to be effective, it has to be done within the first second or two or otherwise you are just wasting your cleanse on someone who would have broken free of it anyways. Also Ive played warzones since 3.0 hit in the preorder week and not once have I ever seen a healer cleanse a stun off a friendly player. Nobody does it....at all... So please, let us use cleanses to remove stuns off ourselves. BW wanted to nerf stuns by giving cleanses the ability to remove it but the change doesnt mean **** unless you are able to cleanse it off yourself...
  18. I saw an advert for WOW's new x-pack when I went to go watch Interstellar tonight. I also saw an advert for the new Halo movie as well as Sid Meier's Civilization Beyond Earth game. SWTOR could put an advertisement before the new Star Wars movie when it gets released and it could have a HUGE impact and a HUGE reach across the world. Im sure EA and Disney can work out a deal to lower the cost of advertising as it would help both overall.
  19. Uh, you cant reach lv 60 unless you buy the x-pack. Its a paid only content patch, not a free to play one. What im worried about is that those who stay at lv 55 wont be able to do any of the lv 55 content because of the DPS nerf, which seems really unfair and a hinderance just because you didnt buy the x-pack.
  20. So with the DPS nerf, how are lv 55 Ops going to work for people who didnt buy the pre-order and/or want to stay at lv 55 with their lv 55 gear. Things like NiM versions of those Ops will obviously be off limits for lv 55 toons with lv 55 gear as the DPS checks are already super tight as it is but how would SM versions work? Would a lv 55 in 162s be able to do SM lv 55 Ops after 3.0's DPS nerf just as they can now or would it not be possible? Also is the lv 55 gear going to be kept in game so that those at lv 55 can buy up to 180 gear for themselves? Or are they going to be permanently locked into whatever gear they have now and the only option to upgrade would be to buy the x-pack?
  21. If BW keeps with the same logic for lv 60, the highest tier PVP gear should equal the lowest tier PVE gear rating. Since right now Brutalizer is 162, and that is the same rating for the starter PVE Gear, hopefully that logic will continue on so that the ranked tier PVP gear would be 186 since the Devs have said that the starter rated gear in PVE is 186. Which would mean the unranked tier is 180.

For Madness Ranked PVP, it seems the best Utility skills would be Sith Defiance (T1), Empty Body (T1), Sapped Strength (T1), Corrupted Flesh (T2), Emersion (T2), Corrupted Barrier (T3) and Force Haste (T3). My Sorc has around 32,000 HP and just looking at the self heals and damage reduction makes me cream my pants. Im basically looking at 3% regular damage reduction, 15% DoT damage reduction, +10% healing, and then when Static Barrier and Force Barrier are up, I get 774 healing per second. If Im taking damage, Static Barrier stays up for like 5 or 10 seconds which will give me between 3575 and 7744 healing and then when Force Barrier goes up for 8 seconds, I get total of 5632 health. But wait, thats not all! Enduring Bastion gives me another 5 seconds of shielding AND auto-healing which over that 5 second period, Ill gain 2816 health. Then last but not least, lets throw on an instant Unnatural Preservation which heals me for like 5-7k health. Just hitting Force Barrier, Enduring Bastion and then popping Static Barrier and then hitting UP will net me 17,023 health. I can easily channel a Dark Heal that can heal for about 9,000 health since EB gives immunity to interrupt so that will bring me up to a total gain of around 26k health. Then I just need to refresh my Static Barrier and heal to full
