  1. Really? look at how many PvE objectives there are out there and the rewards for them. Not to mention the commanders being a PvE mechanic. 500 points to a wz completion which you have to wait for a pop to get into. Vs 2000 points from a FP you can farm over and over with no wait.

You missed my point of saying that I want them to balance the amount of points awarded between all three. Yes, when you look at the objectives it looks like a ton of PvE options, but most of them are limited to once per legacy.... So yea i complete one worth 2000 conquest, and I can't do it again on another toon (an example of this is the commanders). I can kill them again, but I won't gain any more conquest for doing so.

I don't want to see them remove the option for pvp-ers to continue to get points for warzones, I just think it would be fair to allow pve-ers to get points for continually running flashpoints (that are of an appropriate level for them) and gain around the same amount of finishing a warzone.

  2. How about this...no FP rewards more than 500 points, including bonus boss and it can be repeated? That make you happier? There's no queue for you to wait in so you should be able to blow this out in no time.

Conquest should be an aspect of the game that encourages everyone to not only play the game but be able to play the game focusing on the playstyle that they enjoy while being able to contribute a fair amount of conquest to their guild. In the current state, this is not the case.

I 100% agree the amount that people are able to gain with the 3 flashpoints this week is way out of control and needs to be address, I do not however think the answer is to limit flashpoints objections to only allowing you to contribute to your guilds conquest once a day while warzones/starfighter can be chain run infinitely all day any day during the event.

All options should either be repeatable continuously or limited to just once per day, the points gained should be balanced between the playstyles. I don't see how they can't somehow limit your ability to gain conquest from flashpoints on content that is not on par with your toon level (IE- exclude level 55 toons from gaining conquest from anything other than level 55 flashpoints).

I understand certain events/planets are going to cater to a playstyle and there is nothing wrong with that (IE - Makeb having the wz bonus), that isn't my issue with the events so far at all. It's the lack of ways to continue working on conquest in a PvE playstyle.

-If I am someone who enjoys crafting, I can crank out a ton of war supplies and earn conquest while doing so, great!

-If I am someone who enjoys startfighter or warzones, I can continuously queue and earn conquest while doing so, again great!

-If I am someone who enjoys raiding, I need to put in a LOT more time to earn any conquest (IE - have to finish the entire raid zone) considering the time invested ends up being less conquest than the 2 options above, not so great.

-If I am someone who enjoys flashpoints, like raiding, not so great.

There has to be a way for them to balance between all of the options, rather than just limiting some. I do not want to see them take away pvp-ers or crafters abilities to contribute, I would just like to see a better way for pve-ers to contribute.

  3. I don't know how anyone could consider Slicing to be worthless. I doubt the server I'm on is the only server were purple augments and Mission Discoveries sell for tons of credits.

Way I see it, slicing can either help those that actually craft with getting Missions w/o paying huge amounts of credits or helps those not crafting make huge amounts of credits selling Missions to those that do craft...

  4. it means you stand a chance. If this turns you off of PvP forever then you have major problems and will not survive in RL.

Expertise gear takes time and energy to obtain, there should be rewards for this (rolling over noobs) And its not like it adds 500% health anyway.

Apparently you have no clue what expertise even is. lol It does not increase health it increases dmg, healing and def.

Your point that it's meant to allow 50's to faceroll level 10's is moot since they are putting level 50's into their own bracket to prevent that from happening... All I was suggesting is that they do it now rather than waiting for the next big patch (it's already on the Test server).

I never stated it turned me off to PvP. I stated that the number of lower level players that are turning away from PvP will only grow the longer they wait to patch this change in. All that does is hurt Warzone queues and even world PvP once too many people give up on PvP.

  5. 2 - Because this game scales your damage/health if you are low level so you actually stand a chance. If you had good gear you could survive.

This means nothing when 50's are running around in expertise gear.

I can understand having us all group together for the first few weeks just to keep queues moving, but this is ridiculous at this point. They need to push the separate queue for level 50's now instead of waiting for the next patch. All this is doing is turning more and more people off to pvp in general, which in the long run will hurt the community and queues.

  6. The current situation with end game gear and item modifications isn’t final and, in fact, many community members like yourself have correctly guessed at what our plans to correct the current design are.

Since this is a fairly important issue to many players, let me disclose more details about what is currently in the work regarding purple items and mods:

    - All partially moddable purple items will be made fully moddable again, allowing the removal of the armoring, hilt and barrel.

    - The set bonus of end gear purples (PVP and PVE) will be transferable to custom items.

    - Some item modifications will be restricted to a certain item type. For example, some item modifications will only fit on helmets, while other will only fit on chests, etc.

As usual, the caveats about unfinished work apply, but this should give you and the community a very good idea of our intentions. We are serious about making custom gear an entirely valid alternative to end game gear and we support the players’ ability to customize their appearance all the way to (and including) end game.

Are there any plans to fix the issue with the social gear not being viable for any class that doesn't use light armor as well?

  7. If you spec heals though then is it the tanking companions?

Blizz and Skadge are both tanks. You don't get them till much later in game though. As a healing BH I've been using Gault for awhile. He's got some pretty good dps. Killing stuff just became sooo slow with Mako, even when I had her in her dps stance.

  8. Fa'athra entry is inside his palace. When you walk inside, up the ramp and into the main room, you will see his throne. There is a vase looking thing sitting next to it. Gives the Fa'athra codex entry.

Thanks! Not sure how I missed that one, found it in beta. lol Now if only someone could find Hutt Cartel! :(

  9. Shift + left click and drag (the dragging part is important), when you release the mouse button you can edit your stack.

And yes, it also places the item in chat, which is very annoying.

Ahh yea forgot to mention the drag part sorry. :( Also agree the placing the link in chat while doing this is irritating. :jawa_frown:

  10. Does anyone know what the exact colors and ranks are in the game?

I am still kinda confused how to see the purple and orange types of gear

I am guessing its grey, green, blue but then? orange type purple?

    Any help appreciated.

    cheers :)

As you stated the ranking is indeed grey, green and then blue.

Orange is actually the same rank as blue the difference being that orange gear will have full modification slots. Purple is the next rank up from blue/orange.
