Actually, there are a lot of threads and there's another one that is almost 10 pages long. Either way, there's a lot of different reasons. Mine is that I want to buy raid runs from an EU guild. Others have issues with legacies, want to switch servers to be with friends, want to get away from lag, want to fix their situation with RP (the whole Satele v. Star Forge thing) -- I've seen all sorts of different reasons.

A lot of people are claiming it's with update 5.6. No sources being provided. Eric, nothing new?..

What matters is that a large percentage of the community wants them turned on, whether or not others have opinions or not. It's been a while now and we would like an ETA finally. The window for "shortly after merges" has well passed, as it's been what? Two or three weeks since it? The servers are plentiful more calm. If they need to hold it until 5.6, I understand, due to the many currency changes and whatnot that we are going to see. But then tell us that so we know WHY.

All I want is for server transfers to open.

It's been a good while now, since the merges, and the servers have all calmed down in population and hype. Are transfers being held back for a reason? Perhaps the changes to currencies and such with patch 5.6? A lot of people are getting very antsy about this. Edit: Eric has announced, in this thread, that the current ETA is for them to be turned back on with update 5.6 onNov 28th.

Please, god, no. I'm sick of what Disney has been doing to Star Wars. They lost my respect the second they called TOR era "Legends" and "not canon anymore."

The servers, in fact, have already stabilized plentiful. We are just playing the waiting game now. I wish I had an ETA.

Two questions: 1. Do you have Windows Defender/MicroSoft Essentials turned on? 2. Do you have nameplate scale with distance turned off?

I have been wanting to know the same and I aggressively pursued the answer; each answer Eric gave was "I don't know yet, I'll tell you when I find out." Their initial post said it'd be up shortly after the merges; I think the window that can be considered "shortly after" is long over, however. Hopefully they are turned on soon, or with 5.6.

I really would appreciate clarification/confirmation of this, as I am on the waiting list to buy raid runs from a guild on the EU server, but can't while transfers are off. I would feel so sick to the stomach if I heard they wouldn't transfer with me.
