Yes, you can. And you can group with a person from the other faction if you support the same faction. Did this with my husband sometimes in the past, he with a pub, I'm with my (pub supporting) sith. I'm not sure, if you could chat with the others, but maybe.

I have both versions installed. There will be new Content on 9th December, maybe after this patch, it will work again on steam? 🤞

Doesn't make a difference. Still, no Servers listed. With the non-steam installation, it's all fine! Oh, no, wait, there is a difference. I don't have to accept the terms anymore. But no playing possible with steam. I tried to delete the entry in my firewall option, I added manually the Launcher.exe, I tried both deactivated, but it doesn't make a difference. After installing the Direct patch and starting the Launcher by hitting "play" in Steam and hitting play in the Launcher after the Login process I have to accept the Terms of Use every time, and then it takes a while till the server list is shown, but, it's empty. Launcher Log: I tried to repair the install via steam (check for corrupted files), but it doesn't change the outcome. System: Windows 10 Version 20H2 (Build 10042.630) Intel i3-8350k 4.00GHz 16 GB RAM GeForce GTX 1060 6GB

They took the servers down and made a fix. Maybe you should give it a try.

I could solve my problem with support. They saw in my quest log, that I still had that HK Bonus Quest to do. After I did this and reset the Ossus Mission, I got the companion. Maybe this is your Problem as well and it will help?

Oooh. I tried to play another Republic Char. Same choices in the past, but after the first cutscenes there is no companion, and I can't summon her (or any other companion, ok, storybound). Tried to reset the story a few times, but every time the cutscene ends, I'm alone.

Same here with my Sage Heal. Played it yesterday with my other Sage heal and all was fine.

Hi, I mentioned a few things: 1. With my Sage and my Guardian: all fine here. They chose Republic on Iokath, after Nathema and for Ossus. Nothing messed up. 2. With my Marauder, my Operative and my Sentinel there is something messed up with their contacts: The Marauder and my Operative chose Republic on Iothak and for Ossus: Both, Acina and Malcolm (should be alive) are dead in my contacts. My Sentinal chose Empire on Iokath, but Republic after Nathema and for Ossus. Looks similar here in his contacts: Acina (should be alive for him) and Malcolm are dead. For my Marauder and Operative, Koth is gone (all other companions I can call with my Marauder in the last part of the story in the library). My Marauder is romanced with Koth and after finishing the story he is still gone My Sentinal got with no problems through the story and the dailies, but Malcolm and Acina are still dead in his contacts. Koth is still in the gang here. 3. For several tries I wasn't sure, I can finish the story, because: If I choose Malgus as a companion, set to heal, he didn't heal (he didn't have any heal skills in his quickbar!). Every time I chose to return to Medcenter, they the trash is back again. And that bloody bastard didn't come through the first door (to the room, where I can find Master Medeen), so he did nothing! He didn't move, when I try to set him passive and active again (neither any other companion). Repair costs look like a wipe at a Raidboss! Feels like the Heroic Mission with my Sage Heal in the Dailies. But I did it with her, in the end. I'm not sure, I want to do more of the story on Ossus with my operative after Talking to Jonas for now. OK, she would be the heal, but if Malgus wouldn't fight ...

Na, tut das jetzt "gut" zu lesen, ich selbst bin (bisher jedenfalls nicht festgestellt) nicht betroffen, aber meine bessere Hälfte beschwert sich alle Nase lang, wenn er seine Schurkin startet, dass er die Gefechtsgeschicke neu zuweisen muss. Na, dann ist er ja nicht alleine mit dem Problem. Er hat gemeint, es reicht manchmal auch, sich mit dem Charakter in die Charakterübersicht auszuloggen, kurz in einen anderen rein zu gucken und wieder zur Schurkin zurück und schwups, alles wieder bei Null ... Ist bekannt, ob der Bug evtl. schon gemeldet wurde? Scheint ja einer zu sein.

Hallo! es ist vielleicht nicht ganz die Lösung die du suchst, aber vielleicht hilft es dir, bis du die Antwort bekommst. Hast du evtl. "Vollbild (Fenstermodus)" eingestellt? Weil dort ist das Bild etwas dunkler, als im "Vollbild"-Modus. Falls du eine nVidia Grafikkarte hast, kannst du das auch, sofern das Spiel nicht läuft, dort in der GeForce Experience anpassen. (hab nämlich leider keine Ahnung, welche Datei du da bearbeitet hast, finde da auf die Schnelle nichts).

ValdeCallidus, vielen Dank! jetzt kann ich endlich meinen guten Sith spielen. Es hatte sich wirklich unter der Minimap versteckt. Das ist jetzt geändert. Ich hatte schon gedacht, es taucht erst bei Lvl 70 auf. (wobei ich, wenn ich recht bedenke, bei meinem 70er das auch nicht gesehen habe, dachte, da wäre dann irgendwie ein neuer Reiter AN der Minimap.).

Guten Morgen, ich wollte gestern einen kleinen Charakter weiter machen, den ich während dem DvL-Event angefangen habe. Es handelt sich um einen Sith-Krieger und ich wollte diesen auf "gut" spielen, weil ich z. B. auch mal die Sache mit Jaessa sehe, wie sie so drauf ist, wenn ich gut bin und absolut keine dunklen Punkte habe (mein Partner meinte, da gäbe es schon einen Unterschied, aber eben, wenn man keine dunklen Punkte hat). So, jetzt hab ich Nebenquests gemacht und bumms, werden mir beim Abschluss der Mission dunkle Punkte verpasst, dabei war in den ganzen Gesprächen nie ne Gesprächsoption "böse" (hab auch extra eingestellt, dass ich die Prognose bekomme). Ich habe versuchsweise nen weiteren Charakter in der Klasse angefangen und bei dem bekomm ich die Punkte auch bei Quests, die ich mit dem anderen Charakter vor dem 5.0 Update gemacht habe, somit hab ich mit dem beim erreichen des gleichen Spielstandes (auf Korriban) schon mehr dunkle Punkte als bei dem früher begonnenen. Habs auch mal auf der Republik-Seite versucht, da gibt es auch überall bei den Nebenquests und Helden automatisch Helle Punkte dazu, ob es nun ne Gesprächsoption gab oder nicht. Lediglich bei der Klassenquest hatte ich bei dem Sith-Krieger 100 % immer nur die helle Gesprächsoptionen gewählt und bekam für den Abschluss auch nur helle Seite Punkte. Jetzt eben die Frage, bekommt man jetzt bei Nebenquests/Helden automatisch für das klassische Rollenklischee der Fraktion die entsprechenden Punkte? (Republik = Helle Seite Punkte, Imperium = dunkle Seite) ich hab mir schon nen Wolf gesucht, hab die Patch Notes gelesen, aber nichts dazu gefunden. Einzig die ganzen Ankündigungsstreams bzgl. der Neuerungen hab ich mir nie angeschaut, weil ich da nie Zeit hatte. Wenn das wirklich ein Feature ist, ist das wirklich mehr als frustrierend, weil ich dann ja keinen absolut guten Imperialen bzw. abgrundtief bösen Republikaner mehr spielen kann bzw. auf die Neben- und Heldenquests verzichten müsste. Oder kann ich irgendwo die Seite, die ich spielen möchte, anwählen, also auch als "Frischling", wenn ja wo? Danke schon mal.

ah ok ich hab es auf englisch gespielt, ging auch gut war sogar relativ einfach zu verstehen. Hab ich. vielleicht einfach nur nicht die richtigen Schlagworte gewählt. hab gerade noch mal mit mehreren Ansätzen gesucht, da ist NULL zu dem Thema (zumindest nicht im deutschen Forum), aber wenn du was findest, darfst du mir das gerne mal verraten, mit welchen Schlagwörtern du es gefunden hast. Würd mich echt interessieren. Dass das eine oder andere Freitag gepatcht werden soll und wenn man nach "Kapitel" sucht, hab ich gefunden, bezog sich aber nie auf dieses Kapitel, sondern sogar nur auf Kapitel aus KoFE Danke, auch dir mal gucken, ob ich vor Freitag noch nen anderen Charakter hoch pusche.
