Hey everyone, I do have a 30 Guardian, so I am not a complete noob, but I have a couple questions. First, I am thinking about making my Inquisitor a Sorceror. I almost never do PvP, so what would be a couple good skill tree builds for me. Probably want to be DPS, not healer. Second, I am unsure of what crew skills to use. My main uses Biochem, so I want a different experience. I was thinking about Artifice or Synthweaving. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks a lot for future responses.

Hey guys, just a quick question. My main character is a Guardian DPS, but I am thinking of making a Sage Healer as a secondary character in the future. My question is, in solo situations in the game (completing random non-heroic planet missions and stuff like that), do you have a more difficult time fighting enemies, particularly bosses, in the game? As a DPS character that's clearly not a concern, but I was worried that a Healer would not be able to do much damage in fights and the fights would be extra challenging / take much longer. I obviously love having healers with me when I play in flashpoints and heroics, so I am considering making one, but I wanted to get people's take on the concern I had above. All useful advice everyone. Thanks so much! I didn't want to reveal my thoughts beforehand because I wanted some honest feeback. I can't play a million characters, but I already know I want to have a Sith Sorceror character at some point. The Lightning Skill Tree sounds awesome and I think I'd like the story, so good suggestion. Also, I have had serious thoughts about trying out either the Gunslinger or Sniper to change up from all the force characters. Completely agreed that a Sith Warrior is too redundant considering that I do want to max out my Guardian at some point. Thank you for giving me some votes of confidence with characters I was already leaning towards.

Hey guys, I mostly play the game solo, enjoying the RP experience as a Star Wars fanatic. I am working on a Jedi Guardian right now as my main, but I have been starting to think about a good character with a solid main storyline that would be enjoyable to play as a secondary character. Any suggestions? Please refrain from spoilers. Thanks!

I've been getting better at my movement so it's not a big deal. I also am playing the game more for the RPG experience than doing PvP. I am not a huge MMO guy, I just love the Star Wars universe. All that being said, I have considered those two as secondary characters, as well as a Jedi Sage or Sith Sorceror.

Lol, don't think you're odd. After studying the trees more closely, Vigilance seemed to be the favorite for me. I'm still a beginner, but I don't use Riposte much, so I think Defense would be a bad choice. Also, I thought the Defense tree would be a bit stronger in general. I also don't care much for Focus honestly.

That's all I wanted to know. Considering possibilities. Glad to know that information. Thanks. I will say though I'm playing on a RP server because I don't do PvP much. I will still probably soon decide to focus on one area rather than hybrid. Throwing another question out there, no one seems to run a focus tree. Are defense and especially Vigilance way better? I'll admit I gathered that from looking at the abilities.

Hey everyone, I was hoping some fellow guardians could share with me what area they focus in with their skill trees because it seems there are so many options that I'm a bit overwhelmed. I haven't even finalized my picks for my crew skills. Any feedback is appreciated.

Thanks for the super long response. Much appreciated. Update on Character: I decided to be a Guardian. I like the traditional one Lightsaber for appearances and I may focus on tanking though I havent decided yet. My movement is getting better lol. This is my first MMORPG. In terms of the crew skills, I understand what gathering skills go with the corresponding craft. My question is more directed in the Guardian forum itself probably, because I guess I want to know what other Guardians use. Do you grab lightsaber crystals and go that route? Or do you go the scavenging and cybertech? Or does everyone do bioanalysis and biochem?
