It's not about being "hard", there's nothing hard about it. It's the mind numbing repetition and waste of hours. I've been in the dark temple for over 3 hours and still have nothing. It's giving me high blood pressure.

I've been playing this game on and off since launch (years!) and the only credit card I use is AmEx. I have never once been able to pay directly with it, I have always had to go through Paypal. I have been off for about a year, came back not yet 2 weeks ago and it's still doing that, even though they have it listed as an accepted credit card.

Well four months later and on my server they go for $350K each on the GTN and still $260K on Odessen. It's a rip off, I guess I just won't make anything that uses them anymore. Unfortunately I was away for a while and had thousands of command credits when I left. Came back to credits that are junk now and commandeered command boosts that require level 75. Not thrilled at all.

I don't see any Jawas with them either. But they go for $260K each on Odessen, which is insane. People selling them on the GTN, start at $350K each. I'm not sure why you'd think they'd be cheaper on the GTN. Neither is acceptable, IMO.

I've been away for a while but as I play my high level characters to go farm whatever on lower level planets, I am constantly besieged by npcs, who are able to not only knock me off my mounts with a shot, but are inflicting damage, with an actual repair bill! Those level 20 npcs, shouldn't even be looking in my level 70+ direction, never mind wasting my time having to keep clearing them out. I have no problem with the scaling in flashpoints but come on with the rest of them, I didn't work for that gear just to be put back down dozens of levels. I can make a new character to experience the pain all over again. And I do. Please at least give it some thought. I don't remember it being this way last I played. Thanks for your time

Unable to retrieve server list, but I have no problem logging in. The list is empty. I've rebooted my pc but after coming here I guess I'm not the only one? Did they start to take the servers offline already? It's 8:30pm EST. Really not amused, especially if this is the last of the Life Day stuff!

Yes you're probably going to run into stuff like that, glad to see it (& your friend) are back to normal (whatever that may be lol)

Consider yourselves lucky, some of us can't even get into the game to play at all. But really, were you all the same level? Go to the same places? Places that give you exploration xp, that you hadn't visited already. Did he have an xp boost on? Could be a bunch of reasons for that. I don't think they've started ironing out the kinks in this latest update so you're bound to run into a glitchy bit here & there.

I feel your pain, I too go through this every time there's another update. Right now the updater is stalled at 80%, I started it at 3pm yesterday so 22 hours later this is where I'm at. Funny thing is I'm a sub, I've played for years, my pc is way above the standard & I still get locked out of playing this game sometimes for days when these issues start. Do they compensate you for the lost time, of course not. Like that's all we do, sit in front of a screen and have no real life (in order to actually pay for the privilege of playing, we have to leave for many hours at a time to go to a place called work, which means we already have limited time here to begin with). The "solution" is to delete this & that then go through the whole verifying business again, which takes no less than 10 hours and can go up to and beyond 24 hours. And then another however many hours to reinstall. Why do we bother? I don't know other than I'm a stupid Star Wars fan that apparently likes to be flogged by the powers that be. I've played other mmos, this is quite honestly the only one that behaves like this. <----that's me asking WHY?

I agree, I'm also a mostly solo player, but do the fps because I was under the same impression the tokens could be useful. Not into pvp but I now have close to the cap level of tokens...with nothing to spend them on. Somebody posted on here they kicked an under-geared player out of a fp, what the hell?! I thought the main focus here was an MMO that's promoting players getting together in groups. Not to mention if you'd like to do master modes, without being geared up, you're going to get your behind handed to you. And you have to love some of those repair bills---NOT! This whole command token business needs to be re-thought & re-worked because as it is right now, it's pretty worthless, especially if people are being kicked because of their gear. How else are they supposed to get that gear anyway?

I'm wondering why 12 hours later we're shut down again with no warning other than "the servers will be shut down in 15 minutes"....Seriously, same **** yesterday. That one was 9am ET, I didn't even know about the all night nonsense until I came here looking for a warning that doesn't exist. Some of us have to work and can't lay around all day (or night) not being able to play a subbed game. Come on guys, I know things happen but do you really want me to point to another subscription-based mmo that gets their **** together in a fraction of the time we're going around on here? And PS: why is my avatar over here blank??

So I went to buy some cartel coins and ended up on my account page where I see I was charged 280 cartel coins for the "hide headgear" option....only problem is I'm a subscriber and all my characters already have this option without having to purchase it. Anybody else have this happen? I'm not looking forward to having to sit on the phone, not to mention what I'll be charged by my cellphone co., if that's the only way to contact them, do they even bother to answer? What a convenient way for them to make it hard for us to have to deal with problems on their end...
