  1. I've still not found anyone who has had anything other than schematics removed.
  2. People think they're making a point but it's just bad rhetoric used to completely exaggerate the issue. I just learned now from someone whose ban has just ended that their schematics were wiped, including ones that were learned legitimately, and that all of their gear is intact.
  3. A day ban and they probably keep the gear. Not looking so dumb to me. I'm glad you didn't cheat, honestly and seriously, I wish the whole population would have done the same then we wouldn't have this drama. But look at it from the perspective of people who did. This exploit was knowingly left up for weeks. BioWare didn't threaten action until the week it was finally removed. It was hard to convince much of the player base that BioWare cared that they were doing it until they finally said they cared. The best thing that came out of this is not that cheaters got a paltry day ban, but that BioWare has (hopefully) learned to be more proactive in their communication when dealing with something so severe.
  4. There was no crime, nobody altered the game illegally to gain advantage. The ToS is not a book of laws, it's a contract designed to cover BioWare's butt against legal action so that they have the ability to take action like they just did. If people want to keep making ridiculous analogies, at least try sports ones. A rule was broken yes, but a crime wasn't committed.
  5. Glad you get some kind of demented pleasure out of the schadenfreude, but from where I sit the majority of people are content with the action BioWare has taken. Not a whole lot of QQ.
  6. Though this was a long time coming I commend BioWare for owning up to their part in this little drama and taking reasonable action instead of caving to the angry demands of a minority. Let's bury the hatchet and move on.
  7. I don't have any trouble getting from 50-55 on Makeb. Use the GSI terminal. The exploration experience alone is insane.
  8. I don't want to sound judgmental but if a game or its community is generating that much stress in your life you should consider dropping it. Something this silly is not worth dying over. I say this as someone who has suffered stress related health problems, a video game is not worth suffering for. This crap can finally end when we're told what's actually going to be done about the exploit. Whether it's nothing at all or super severe, I don't really care. Just do it already. BioWare needs to stop stalling so everyone can move on.
  9. Personally I don't even care about the Jawa Junk fiasco. I'm just pissed that they're uncertain about releasing future machines with different prizes, especially different reputation rewards.
  10. The new content isn't scheduled until April, hopefully that will give them enough time to get the current content to an acceptable standard. But if it's not, I prefer a working game to piling more broken content on top.
  11. And we're still waiting. It took them weeks to fix a severe bug and it's taking them weeks to announce a decision on what to do about it. No matter where you fall on this issue, it's infuriating how long it's taking for severe game and community problems to be sorted. They need to do whatever they're going to do so we can forget about this toxic topic and move on. There's two different camps. The people who want sensible action are fine. The people who want blanket bans of all offenders are more concerned with schadenfreude than fairness.
  12. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YdnWaBot94 Not sure if it was server-time so someone would still need to show a screenshot.
  13. I am more upset about the handling of it than I am of losing the credits. All I want from BioWare is an apology.
  14. I'm glad that training will no longer cost credits since that always seemed pointless. But I'm angry that I've pointlessly spent over a million credits already on training in the expansion and am dismayed that there will be no refund or other form of restitution towards pre-order customers. One thing is for certain, I'm with the others in this thread who will not be pre-ordering any future expansions. People pre-ordered your game for perks, not for punishments.
