  1. Watching Limitless, tonight, and his play on words, struck me.

I laughed, but then I felt kinda sad.

It is a perfect word for what is happening.

An electronic artificial arm, is used to strangle a person, to death in the episode.

It was HACKED, for financial gain, initially, but it winds up about divorce, and money.

    Did i mention money?

Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't a business, GAIN customers, not LOSE them.

At least TRY to GAIN them?

BIO is seemingly trying to LOSE customers.

    1) A casual game player pitch, only to reverse it, in gameplay, with OP, then Nerfed companions.

    2) Terrible reduction of rewards in CM Packs.

    3) 3 years of work on Companions, wisked away, like Ben Kenobi's Mind bending hand wave.

    4) Story Experience that while awesome on it's surface, defies logic.

    5) Many changes in the game at the same time, leading to frustration.

    6) No responses from People in power here, about the obvious problems.

This is TOR's NGE. Make no mistake about it.

Agreed, expired in 15ish days, not renewing until some major issues are addressed (if they ever are)

After level synch, flashpoint busting, raid's, crafting, and vanilla game content recycling, companions were the only good thing to come from 4.0. The 1 and only thing I could appreciate was that I no longer had to micro manage every little thing they did... They were a fantastic replacement in tactical flashpoints(Broken) if someone dropped, and nice for clearing trash while gather crafting(Also broken) mats. The Story is fine, it was fun to play through and made sense for getting new companions. I actually like the building of speeders, and deco drops, and more speeders(I have a slight addiction to speeders). While 4.0 is not to the scope and severity of NGE, the effects felt the same way

    no new raids :(

flashpoint system broken (Bolster and everyone clumped together :( ).

Level synch (It sucks, its not fun being level 8 again on a planet I haven't quested on in a year  ).

Content recycling - It feels generic. Level 65 areas being added to worlds, separate like bonus series and dread seed areas were, would have been perfect (and could have avoided level synch :D ).

The dumbing down of gearing. I loved gearing up after every other planet, Replacing all the armor, mods, and enhancements on my toon and companion. It gave me a sense of progression. I had worked out a nice system over the years. I always made more comm's then I spent, I like having my stats my way (I play every class of healer there is). This expansion killed a very fulfilling part of the game for me (Although these vendors started dis-appearing in the last few 3.x updates)

Crafting... What can I say. Crafting has now been thrown into the developer dungeon with PVP, never to be heard from again. I'm not even sure that the goal of crafting changes were, but holy crap it got nuked back. Making purple anything meeds you need 3-4 toons just working slicing for parts and credits. This is on top of the normal support skill items, and now an extra step making crafting parts from the raw materials... *(rambling now sorry)

All this on top of smaller cartel packs with still terrible RNG, and Still no combat balance in PVP.

This is swtor NGE to me. (also doesn't help them im still mad about the slot machine nerf, lvl synch, and the terrible choices for endings in mass effect 3 - I know, not the swtor crew's fault but they are 1 family lol :D )

    /game

  2. I've had this happen a few times. I just hit spacebar (to jump), rotate my mouse (to spin) and click the mouse 1 and 2 buttons at the same time.

Note: The spinning probably isn't necessary but adds flare :)

Same here! The spinning makes it seem like it was on purpose. :D

  3. You*

    You're*.

Correct syntax; 'because you're lazy, even though'.

Correcting your lazy mangling of simple words and sentences aside, you're also just plain wrong.

    Nobody bullied Bioware into anything.

You might want to do a bit of research on what bullying is and isn't, then try again.

Next time, don't accuse others of being lazy when you screw up a two sentence paragraph by being so lazy that a first grade teacher would make you do it again.

    I support this quote . +1 internet commendation. :D

  4. Yeah, they swung the nerf bat way way too hard. I'm waiting to see what they say about it on Monday as Eric made a post that they will be addressing the issue. I am cautiously optimistic but only slightly. They need to do a serious return of a good percentage of companions pre-nerf ability but my worry is they will offer what amounts to a pat on the head.

    This right here...

I think the companions being Jesus bots was to get people off the level synch argument, and then nerf companions later back to crap. At least in 3.0 they gave us gear for free so we could equip them properly and didn't need to be baby sat during combat. I swear these last 2 "Expansions" have to be some twisted EA/Bioware social experiment to see what they can put us through in the next MMO they put out. (Foil hat is staying equipped). :D

  5. We already have a knockoff on its way that looks promising thus far, The Repopulation. Unfortunately though, they are using the Hero Engine who has temporarily cut all services because they are on a financial brink of having to declare bankruptcy, so The Repop devs will very likely have to change their engines soon. Shame really, game was just a few short months from going into beta.

Aww, I signed up for the beta. That game looked awesome

  6. Your level 65

Roughly Average Item Rating 216 - 220 mix

    Discipline Operative healer

    Companion Lana or

    Valkorian's baby momma

    Companion role Tank

Companion Influence level 20 and 18

Healer was always a rough grind on solo content, but wow you must really hate us now... :D

    Your level 65

Roughly Average Item Rating 216 - 220 mix

    Discipline Lightning Sorc

    Companion Lana or Talos

    Companion role Tank or DPS

Companion Influence level 35 and 20

Again bioware, why do you hate the players....

    Your level 63

    Roughly Average Item Rating 198

    Discipline Lightning Vengence Juggernaut

Companion Lana (was playing story before update)

    Companion role Healer / Dps

    Companion Influence level 10( ish)

Man you nerfed her heals, she still steals agro sometimes, and nags me like I didn't take the trash out... ***? :D

the more the nerf hammer strikes the forge, the more you warp space/game/time. Hawking did the math, it brokeded...

  7. Right? One thing I've also noticed, not sure if it's a bug or not, but you can't put CM pack armor boxes in your legacy bank anymore. Only the individual pieces. So if you get a Sith Recluse Upper armor box in a pack for example, you can't put that in your legacy bank. Need to unbox it and put the individual pieces in there, which further takes up space.

If you have it in inventory, swap the armor box for another item in legacy storage. That seems to be the only way to put it in storage. I played around with it for a few minutes and discovered that. Way to lazy to open the sets, and find room if I don't need to! Been doing it since early access. :D

  8. This can become a bigger detail in later chapters if BW scales story content on how effective an alliance is based on how many members have been recruited, and how much influence you have for each member. The idea seems to be to convince EVERY possible character to join you, as a larger team, in as many varied disciplines as possible is important for success. Just a theory for later down the road, but 20 matches (or have 40 valor already) is a lot for someone who does not PvP at all. If anything its gimping a team to have PVE players in unbolstered gear running around just to get street cred for a companion.
  9. All companions are basically the same. You can pick what role, you can (for some) pick their gear/appearance.

What fun is a silent puppet? Why is it so hard to wait for a companion to return via story element? It's more interesting to play through the story and/or wait to get them back.

But I love hearing Khem tell me the joke about his pazzak face though... How can I wait for my monster and his random jokes while killing people?

  10. Healer here. I find hard modes easier since there is a tank. The ****** tactical 3 dps group means i immediately take aggro from everyone and their mom. Not fun.

+1 this. Hm's play just like they have since 3.xx, but tacticals feel like the trinity requirement was removed and that was it. Oh and kolto stations on boss. I rip agro so fast when healing its crazy. trying grouping with a friend to kick once inside FP and use a tank or healer companion. It is super wonderful to not pull agro, or to get heals in fights with mobs.

  11. For maximum amusement, go to Ilum and the flashpoint there, *by*yourself* (companion allowed, group not allowed), and forget to talk to the droid on entry. This gets you big red words warning you about group content.

I was level 65, and did this yesterday, and said to myself, "What the lleh, I'll try it." I got as far as the second group of bosses (the two aliens before the cave) before I found something too strong for me. (The sithy one died just before me, but he wasn't dead when I got back.)

I miss farming this and false emperor for deco's already.

  12. I have been grouping with guildy's when they do the tac weekly, then vote kick me or other guildy so 3 of us can break out a companion. We just take turns being the kicked player so we can have comanion heal or tank mobs. :D. It saves so much on repair bills when you get 3 lowbie players. Ripping agro on a 65 sucks. My sorc mage tanks, and my operative heal tanks (no clever name yet)
  13. This has been happening to me for months. Ive had to roll back a few driver updates on my video and wireless card that were put out in anticipation of windows 10. Something in game was causing my video card to constantly update with the server and overload my system causing the boot sometimes 3-4 times a day. Usually happened during a raid, in a boss fight. After rolling back my video card driver, and my wifi card driver I haven't had the issue since. Good luck, busted my mouse I got so angry before (just the freebie one luckily).
