  1. I see. For the most part, I don't mind players who are accustomed to speaking in "that" manner because I understand that people are different in terms of self-expression. But what really bothers me are conversation topics that are too nasty/inappropriate and should be kept to themselves (If you know what I mean). Especially if there's no figure of authority to moderate the chat room, it just affects my gaming experience in a negative way. That's why I'm quite particular about it.
  2. Good day. I'm a SWTOR player who's been around for a few months mainly in the Harbinger server. During my stay, I tried to look for a guild that I could fit well into (in terms of group activities and player conduct) but I could not find one. Hence, since there is a x12 event (which is essentially a free ticket to 55) going on, I figured I'd like to explore other communities and see if the one I'm looking for actually exists. This is my player profile: Personality - Mostly reserved/taciturn but willing to assist and enjoys group activities with other friendly/tolerant players. Refrains from vulgar behavior and language. Age: 20+ Time zone : West Coast/Pacific Time SWTOR Interests: PvP (Heavy), GSF (Moderate-Heavy), PvE (Only as needed for story, level & gear), RP (None) Preferred VOIP: Mumble (Not necessary) Skill level: Moderate (partly due to subpar hardware; I play on a cheap laptop.) If anyone knows a guild that I could fit into, please inform me. Thanks. EDIT: I have a question. Since I'm from the west coast, am I better off staying in west coast servers in terms of the quality of connection (avoiding high latency) or are the severs all located in one facility and it won't matter either way? Speaking from experience, Harbinger is pretty problematic mainly due to the high population straining the server capacity. Any west coast players here who can share their experience?
  3. Good day. I'm contemplating about moving to TEH server because I've already been to the Bastion and Harbinger and I want to try other communities so I'm curious about what is going on in it. 1) I don't RP and I'm not into it at all. However, I also don't mind people who do so. Is the community tolerant to players like me? I mainly plan to PVE/PVP. 2) I solo queue for Unranked Warzones and Galactic Starfighter almost on a daily basis, and not just for the dailies but it is kind of my adopted method of progressing in levels. How long does it take when queuing for a match? How is the faction balance? 3) Is there an overall interest in end-game PVE progression?
  4. Hi. I've recently unlocked BLCs on my Flashfire and I'm experiencing some difficulty using it. After trying it out for a couple of games, it seems that about only 1/3 of hits go through/actually do some damage even at 500m - 3000m range and at max range, it doesn't seem to hit at all. Not to mention you have to maintain a very close position with your target while aiming at the tiny reticle. Does it have to be upgraded before it becomes effective? Is there some kind of trick to it? Or perhaps it takes a while of getting used to? I need some constructive advice from experienced BLC users, please.
  5. Thanks to all of you for responding. It's good to know that most servers have a thriving GSF player base. It seems that the only way to truly determine which one is right for me is to experience it for myself. More suggestions/input are also welcome.
  6. Which server has the most populous/active/healthy GSF player base? Which faction?
  7. I am fairly new to the GSF experience (40-50 matches) and I enjoy it a lot. I mainly play the Rycer Strike fighter and Mangler Gunship (I'm quite fond of the Ion laser).
