  1. Great work being totally wrong. Most players preferred a server type merge, Bioware ended up announcing a merge into the US servers. Personally, I wouldn't bother asking for apac servers again despite missing the low ping. Bioware hasn't shown any interest in growing the game in the apac region. Bioware will be screwing us over again by creating another apac server at this time.
  2. They should at least fix companion healers flagging players by auto healing a flagged groupmate though. (not sure if a flagged other attacking the same mob will work too).
  3. And not everyone who pvps in unranked is supposed to be a pvper. Why should lowbies be the entry point for unranked pvp? If someone decides to try out pvp from max level in whatever gear they have, what is the gear gap going to be like as opposed to someone with tire 1 or tier 2 gear? I never said anything about getting the gear u got with your precious gear grind for free. I'm asking how much of a difference it will be. Make it too big and you discourage new players from trying once they hit max level or pvping that that pve geared tank that they never pvped with but always wanted to try out. Or is max level unranked pvp supposed to be hard mode where if you never pvped in lowbies, you should never try it out?
  4. And if they decide to quest to 60 instead, they should never ever try pvp, right?
  5. Yep, and likely you will find these people on your team as much as on the opposite side, leaving you to complain about carrying bads on your team. I'm not even qq-ing about you having the divine right to destroy me as you have earned your gear. I'm asking in the POV of someone new to or returning to pvping at max level and how much of a gear gap s.he will experience by just jumping in and thus how much s/he may enjoy the experience. Really, should there actually even be a barrier to entry for lvl 60 unranked?
  6. What the gear gap will be like between people with the new 2 tiers of pvp gear and people new or returning to pvp with old pvp gear in 3.0? Will players be expected t replace old pvp gear and /or gear a certain way before they can contribute to a warzone?
  7. I might agree with you during the first double xp weekend but given the number of times this has been done, they should have anticipated this request by now and either worked a toggle into those or let the players know it couldn't be done.
  8. Also remember if you are going to have inactive characters (6-16 toons depending on how many additional slots you unlock) decide which toons you like active and move any important equipment (eg. BoL equipment) and credits to toons you intend to use. Spread your credits across all your active toons to get as much out of the 350,000 limit as possible.
  9. I love the XP boost but at the same time, given the number of 2xp weekends they have already given, it's a no brainer to Bioware that this is going to be asked (yet again). Asking players who have enjoy the game differently to delay pre-ordering as a workaround is weird ( shouldn't you be encouraging players to pre-order instead? ), imho and I think they should have at least addressed when or why a xp toggle can or cannot be done by now.
  10. I don't understand how this is even close to giving people everything. People still have to do the datacrons, they just don't the special snowflake sense of achievement doing the same boring and sometimes buggy puzzle tasks. For some, solving it on their own is their sense of achievement, redoing that solved puzzle is not. Legacy Class buffs for completing chapter 2 IS a permanent bonus. You get to apply the bonus even In situations where you do not have people of other classes available to give you the task. While you mention that hk is not usable in all situations, they are also a lot simpler to achieve, and yet it is also unlockable in legacy.
  11. Short answer: Yes Long answer: Yes, please! What do you achieve by making players rerun unfun solo tasks?
  12. In case you don't know
  13. I'm surprised nobody has blamed the hamsters yet..
  14. It's an extremely old interface bug which they either don't know how to fix, or never bothered fixing. Do a ctrl+u twice to reset ur interface and ops chat will appear. This will keep your sanity until they fix the bug, which will probably happen when hell freezes over.
  15. Level 52? Shouldn't the part where you're past the the craptastic lvl 40 - 50 stage be motivation enough?
  16. Thanks for replying. That's the reasoning for why I proposed it in the form of Legacy Ranged (Crystals, Barrels, Mods, Enhancements) Legacy Melee (Crystals, Hilts, Mods, Enhancements) Legacy shields/generators/focus (Crystals, Armorings, Mods, Enhancements) Each type shares the same types of mods like how our adaptive armors work. Bioware could code the weapons to look different when equipped by a different class. (Eg the Gray Helix Autocannon look when equipped by a commando, and a Gray Helix pistol look when equipped by a mercenary).
  17. Just want to put out a suggestion for QoL improvements. Can we make all current legacy weapons adaptive? Instead of different types of legacy weapons, make them legacy ranged and legacy melee. Legacy lightsabers will become double-bladed sabers when used by a shadow/ssin, single when used by others. Likewise a legacy ranged weapon will be a sniper rifle when used by a sniper, a pistol when used by a smuggler or bounty hunter and so on. I know it is possible to just use those weapons to move mods into your alt's gear, but wouldn't it be nice if more classes are able to share their gear between toons in their legacy without having to go through that process? And finally, here's to hoping they will come up with legacy shields and banks...
  18. He's being forced flagged for pvp outside the pvp area by flagged pvpers who stealthed stand stealthed in their aoe to take damage stand beside enemy mobs in hopes that their auto-next target after killing the mob be them and auto flag that player All this plus the fact that an increased number of flagged players mean flagged players join their group and healing those teammates will auto flag them their companions may autoflag them by healing flagged teammates Buffing or any other abilities targeting flagged teammates will auto flag them. While Bioware probably wanted to make people who wanted to flag themselves simple. There are just too many ways in which you can accidentally flag yourself even if you don't want to. He's asking for a way to turn off all chances of these happening by making nothing he does affect flagged players unless he explictly turns on the pvp flag.
  19. Guess you have the /stuck abusers to blame for your predicament. It happens, but not often that you will fall, but for some reason the fall damage was never applied. With the old /stuck you could probably die and respawn. Too bad some people like to abuse that for a free ride to the opposite node in Civil War back when side speeders were available. Maybe they should electrify the that pit in voidstar room 2. *hint* Bioware *hint*
  20. Yea, I really needed to ask cos I was bouncing between thinking people have been mistakenly thinking the clock they see on their UI as the local server time and me missing out on some /command that returns the local server time of the server. It makes figuring out what time the poster meant in my time zone impossible.
  21. Is there a /command that tells you the server time? Because the clock on the bottom right of the game just gives you your local time.
