guess the people who got ripped off are just boned ? .so much for the promised make up for kicking us out of the game for 2 weeks... must be nice to charge for services not rendered ..its been over a damn month since this crud and except for a very vague "we will make it up to you" NOTHING ..so glad i cancelled my sub

game appears to be working normally ,even after the latest update ( ive always had problems after updates ..only the second time in 10 yrs that i haven't had a problem of some kind ) , still would like to be compensated for the 11-12 days the game wouldn't run though ...actually longer for me because the "fix" date kept being moved so i stopped looking here every day 20x a day hoping that the game i payed to play would allow me to use their service..there is no way of ever finishing seasons now without "buying" my way, one of my guild is in ruins (a bunch of people quit thinking we were a dead guild with no objectives) and i got booted from 2 guilds but oh well..at least i can use up my sub time now

that only tells people that the company plans on something or to tell you they are pushing it AGAIN..im talking about a flyer sent to your email or something telling people the game is working again instead of having to check the boards 100x a day to see if they pushed the date again

You asked why he felt ripped off..i told you ,it wasn't "directed " at anyone simply stating the facts and a slight update now its gonna be next week sometime maybe ..you tell me how you would feel at this point..yes im very angry but not at you at the people who think people can afford to keep up with the joneses when it comes to new machines everytime they update the game, its a great game with awesome people to bad the company is dragging it down

they don't even know the problem yet so don't get your hopes on a fix anytime soon ..they stated they will "try" and do a patch this week..first it was wenday as a target date now they achanged that yesterday to thursday and now they are saying they still can't isolate the problem and will "try" to fix it this week sometime @Obie you can play for free just not on your paid accounts

speaking as player of 11 yrs and a member for 10 of it .. i couldn't believe they charge you for literally everything as a free player now..i don't remember not being able to chat my first year. and im pretty sure i had a ride by the time i left drommund kaas , after being booted out of the game on the last update i tried to start a new free character but this is ridicules..EVERY SINGLE thing you pay for now or you have to sub...i sure ain't paying for 2 accounts i can't play..i really don't see how any "NEW" player would even get passed DK without being forced to be a sub it just cost so much for everything and the payouts have become very lame for drops

ya all need to create a mailing list to notify players if the game is every able to run intels again

TrixxieTriss how lets see you pay to play a game and your locked out of the game. after a week of a self pro-claimed moderator on bugs telling everyone to calm down and wait they say its gonna be on wensday for a fix..then its not..then its gonna be on thursday maybe we will maybe won't see it ...its not looking very promising at this point ..when you pay for a service then don't provide that service thats called being ripped off

basically thats what they say after EVERY update and problems from them..its never the companies problem..ive been playing for 11 yrs 10 as a sub i NEVER was informed i need any specific VRAM to run this game ..like i said ive been playing for 11 yrs and its only been the last year or so that the problems have started to be major pain but never have i been totally locked out of the game like this.....last problem they specifically blamed my pc now its everyone with a specific "intel" ..people do get aggravated when they are told "oh well just wait" and they keep pushing it further away

i got a simple solution..why not just remove the splash screen as that seems to be the hang up

its been 7 days its a new week..feeels like ive been in friggin prison waiting for my death sentence to be commuted or enforced in this game for months now its " " gonna be few more days and then we will try something " if it don't work we will have to start all over to find the problem " im losing my friggin mind over here jones'in for my fix

u seem to have it all figured out why can't the developers figure this out ? if its so damn simple why haven't they created a fix ..btw if its data overload i don't understand ..as this and now one other game are the only thing using any DATA on my PC..i wiped the entire system clean trying to get back in guess me and my dinosaur computer from last year need to stick to playing runescape or some other 100 yr old pc game

@Cossack i paid for 6 months and ive still got 3-4 months to go so i feel ya ...what a colossal waste of time/money to sit here for a week on the bug forum hoping for a fix and all ya hear is people trying to blame it on the same PC that works with a FREE ACCOUNT

i believe someone already stated that the vram on intel is listed as 128 thats NOT what it runs it runs 1/2 of something else that should put most over the min. im getting real sick of people saying its my PC when ive had the same problem on other PCs as well but never blocked entirely..seems every update there is a new problem that gets blamed on the PC yet it always comes to be fixed by fiddling with settings or deleting files..that is NOT on my PC or the damn company should put in very BOLD letters that INTEL machines will not work on this game. well the days half over and still not a peep from someone who cares whether or not paying customers can play or not..like i said my hopes for this game are fading fast now

well a week later and still no paid game that is the problem folks ..its not the graphics as very few had problems like i have with this game loading prior to this update ..in fact there was only a few of us ..but now we got dozens if not more locked out of the game completely ..all seem to have older accounts all seem to have new armour ..since it worked before im assuming its to do with the Armour or the coding to the Armour ..it might be something else but right now the ARMOUR seems to be the damn problem. recently downloaded another high graphics game ( gotta have something to do while blocked from playing ) and it runs perfectly fine on this machine.in fact except for a minor glitch with the highest graphic setting it runs better than expected (it flickered)..im losing hope fast here guys and gals this is BS been a week and no clue if o or even when i will be able to access my PAID ACCOUNT

if its a graphics problem there are only really a few solution..run out an buy a new computer everytime they update ,or wear no customized clothes ( in which case i want a refund for the 9-10 pages of outfits ive purchased over the years ) but that still won't help those with paid accounts now from not being able to log in..im not tech Savy enough to go through every file looking to change items to basic gear ..just like im not comfortable messing with bios files or registry files..a customer shouldn't have to be able to re-program a game just to play it

i'm dying here..6 days without playing im going friggin nuts ..only so many times a day to check this board..i know nothing is done on weekends but it is a hope that someone will figure out the problem before they get around to it. i tried playing as a free player but my heart isn't in it anymore..i just can't start from scratch with NOTHING knowing i have an account with 10 yrs of sub and all the bells an whistles that go with it..no mounts no armour ,no weapons ,NOTHING i paid for..not even a damn companion.i refuse to pay for stuff on the free account whats the point after the next update it will probable block this account too..so unless this problem is fixed im done..i just can't start from scratch again i refuse to buy everything new again

on my system the screen will show a spinny thing for a few seconds spinning then freeze..the spinny thing is then in the center of the screen just spinning away..after a few more seconds it will stop and it will freeze till i click ..a box pops up (i forget the wording) saying i can't connect. now i could see if i couldn't play at all but i can play a FREE ACCOUNT just fine no problems i even raised the graphics setting in it with no problem ,but as soon as i try an log in to my PAID ACCOUNT it locks right back up.its been 5 days and i know they won't fix it this weekend so we (us people kicked out) are just boned till they get around to it..with all these emergency problems like "unable to mount at lvl1" and "my green dye doesn't show up" i can understand the developers are too busy to get paying players back into the game but it would be nice if someday this problem got solved

i had a gaming computer for a year prior to this one and had the same damn problem with loading the game each update..same problem the pc would just freeze loading the game and that PC was made to run games i blew the video card somehow and got stuck buying a cheaper model just so i could have my game and internet..but ever since every update in the past year except the one just before this one it has been a nightmare getting back in (last update loaded the update and played just fine),i truly thought it was just my PC but now with so many others i know its not. i can play a free account but whats the point after being a paying member for 10 yrs..you start with absolutely nothing and since i first started playing you have to pay for literally everything in the game if your not a member (it will be a cold day in hell i ever pay to play again after this),so i can't play the account i payed 6 months in advance for or use anything ive bought or collected over the past 10 yrs..there really is no point in playing anymore unless they fix this

i tried shutting off my internet and turning it back on ..Nothing (actually shutoff my comcast ethernet connection and turned on wifi and tried also..still nothing) ,my pc hangs on the screen before the server/character select the lil thing spins for a few seconds and freezes..i can leave it running but after a few seconds it will just start spinning in the center of the screen and then says unable to connect when i click the screen..well its been 5 days now and still NOTHING..my game play is shot now..no way will i ever finish seasons now without having to PAY to do so and after this im doubtful i will ever pay for anything again, not to mention the several guilds im leaving high an dry 2 of which i was the guild leader but i guess not anymore if my characters will never be able to play again ..probable booted from all my guilds by now just disappearing without a damn word (last time i got froze out i returned to no guilds left except a couple of dead ones) can't blame them for wanting ACTIVE people..any hoot i hope everyone who CAN play is enjoying themselves

so they know the problem then ? ,what did they do in this update to block so many people ? so we are back to " your pc is not good enough to play this game anymore " (this is what this says to me .." run out after every update an buy the latest greatest machine on the market to keep up with our developers machines ") ..i for one can't afford to buy a new machine after an update ..this machine is only a yr old and runs every other program just fine , i understand what your saying about it being a ram thing but that doesn't change the fact i can play for free on the very same machine that is blocking my paid account..if it was a ram issue i shouldn't be able to play on either

well sounds like nothing will be done this week anyway (another thread says that) so much for the new season or the several guilds i run an help run..the hope that they might get around to fixing it is fading fast..it won't happen on a weekend so next week sometime is a hope but doubtful at this point ..as always the majority can play so this is a low priority or so it seems everytime ( i have problems with every update) .ive posted 2 posts on this subject both were deleted because i complained too much and had the audacity ask if it was ever gonna get fixed.so sick of people saying its my PC when know its a bunch of people with the same problem..i have deleted and re-installed this game a dozen times in the past few days, ive messed with files i should never touch because it was suggested here (bios and registry), ive deleted the accounts in appsdata ive tried everything suggested and nothing..at this point there is absolutely nothing i can do to fix this on my end and the company seems to be doing a rather extremely extremely long study of the problem throwing out suggestions like messing with game files and changing settings manually none of which seem to work and all i don't feel comfortable with..guess i will try and see if its working Next week as that seems to be the new target for trying to do anything about it

i was also on star forge...and they just "fixed" that server prior to the great lock out..maybe they should look into that instead of blaming our pc's this is my largest character server with 33 characters

but isn't it so much fun hanging around the forum all day instead of playing the game..i mean i can play for free (with absolutely nothing) and watch everyone else have fun and enjoy the game..but to me i really don't understand how anyone plays this anymore..you have to pay for a bank you have to pay for a ride you have to pay for everything when my paid account has hundreds of dollars worth of stuff i paid for and can't use

well going on day 4 and still can't play on my payed account..its not worth restarting a whole new legacy..i tried starting a new character on the free account but seriously after 10 yrs of membership its not worth it..you literally have to pay for everything now in the game or become a member and that sure as hell will NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN after being boned out of my 10 yr old payed account.. no doubt this will get deleted too just like my other 2 posts but in my defense how would you like to pay for something you can't use and then not get any answers
