Say my buddy and I have the same alert, and we both go, does it progress for both of us?

Was going to buy the Senya Pike, but when I simply Googled it to see what people said, it was all about how when you loot or use healing packs, the whole weapon glitches and looks funny. Is this fixed or should I just not get it?

So I made a lvl 60, did the new storyline (really fun) and finished it..waiting for my friend to do alliance missions so we can do the flashpoints together...now I don't really know what to do. I'd like to get good tank gear, or do anything end-game related...I ground warzones and got a full set of pvp armor and the extras for it.....now I'm just stumped. What's the best gear I should go for? My buddy says "dreadmaster" armor but everything on google is outdated. What fun stuff can we do? Flashpoints are getting old and there's nothing fun on the side to do (although we did do Zakuul arenas). Thanks!
