First off I want to thank you for your constructive responses. Most threads like these are full of spam or trolling and so far that doesn't seem to be the case though at some point in this thread I'm sure that will change.
Though I understand where you are coming from, and I'm not saying your wrong, history has shown us that all manner of speculation is worthless for the most part, including my own, and many times before this community, and communities else where, we are consistently wrong which leaves us with the following: What does the future hold?
Bioware and other companies a like, some more than others listen to their base. As they should indeed. If all of a sudden people started flocking here, why wouldn't they change course? It wouldn't be that different from what they already did many times in the past. I have heard "We're not going to do this" to many times before "hey you know what?"
Where we disagree is 1 & 2, I honestly feel it's irrelevant, I think there is way more than enough headway to work there. Which, in my opinion leaves us only with three. So okay it's hard and takes man power, but if you had a boost, why not ride the wave? I do that for a living, not literally but you get it, or probably not cause I'm a huge nerd <snorts>
As far as the mechanics, plenty of abilities are disabled already during pvp why not those? That would save a lot fo work there as well.
Better yet, create a buff or ability meant to offset a long term cc specifically for your class ot race? Maybe some trick they can do to recover and punch through if they survive. Some digital hacker stuff maybe, mass cc, you know, wtvr. lol ;P
The truth is, we can sit there and make excuses for SWTOR and Bioware all day, I know I do, but if they increased their profits, why not do things like that to make us all happy and bring in even more new players?
At the of the day, it's really all just a business/capital decision, not anything you mentioned.
One more point as far as the slow development and reluctance by the devs here, it's not all their fault. Like so many things nerd I think this was a victim of its own franchise, people expected to much and put SWTOR between a rock and hard place. But it looks like they have a chance to squirm out and come on top. Like everything else, it's all about money.
