There is a small amount of games on the NA servers that are actually competitive/high quality matches.
Then they are poor games, but games nonetheless.

I’ve been a Scoundrel main for years. Never liked playing meta. Beating everyone you see makes the game boring and cause me to in turn get bored of the class. Hopefully, Scound and Shadow meta builds are nerfed without effecting non-meta ones.

Scoundrels/Operatives are BEYOND overpowered in PvP. Giving them access to cover would just be overkill, considering their toolbox already has everything in it they could ever want or need.
It’s not like anyone really used it in PvP for actually cover. Mostly to just quickly access the cover bar (since it was different from the normal one).

Only certain classes should be able to stun to resolve.
I’m curious, which classes?
And removing DCDs are just going to lead to people stacking crit, power, mastery like before.

I agree with sins and ops. They need some nerf to insane burst and a slight buff to sustained dmg but nerf to sorc and merc? You know that sorcs and mercs became new targets now and they can't do much now. Literally i see more pts and juggs than mercs and sorcs because sorc and merc need to cast in order to do dps and how they will do it when 2 opers and 1 sin crushing them?
I wary about nerfing Shadows and Scoundrels. While I’m all for nerfing Scrapper and Infiltration, I don’t want Ruffian and Serenity to be caught in the blast and end up becoming more difficult to use.
BioWare has been known to nerf things that have no correlation to the intended nerf subject.

Depends in which movement abilities and roots. If you made a through list that would help.

People complain about ability bloat, adding this will just increase their complaints (i.e Flechette Round removed, stances removed, etc). Plus it’s hard to add the game’s animations with a MMO.

Let’s compare them:
Volatile Strike does more damage and is more reliable than Catalyzed Toxins (Sanguinary Shot misses a lot despite having 110% accuracy. This happens mainly on tanks but happens on healers and DPS frequently as well. Missing it applies the debuff but doesn’t detonate the DoTs).
Catalyzed Toxins has a 9 second cooldown increase on their burst (presumably to cap their burst for some reason) while Volatile Strike doesn’t.
In addition, Catalyzed Toxins makes you waste 2 additional GCDs after you use it reapply DoTs. Meanwhile after Volatile Strike you’re free to continue on with your damage. There are energy problems when using it for a prolonged period of time as well
There is also a bug(?) with Catalyzed Toxins, if your Bushwack apples Vital Shot to a target that wasn’t your main target then Catalyzed Toxin won’t remove it and do Vital Shots damage. For example..
Target A has both VS and SB (Vital Shot and Sharp Bomb) on them. Bushwack spreads Vital Shot to Target B. Sanguinary Shot detonates Target A’s dots, but using Sanguinary Shot on Target B (who has both DoTs) would only remove and do the damage of Sharp Bomb.

Yes, class stacking is a big part of the problem. It's not strictly a balance issue, but really a matchmaking issue. A lot of us have been begging Bioware to tweak the matchmaking so that it takes classes into account. Hopefully they'll do it.
Yeah, class stacking is a problem. Yesterday, I got into a ranked match with 4 Scoundrels in my team (3/4 of them were running Volatile Strike with the best exception of me running Ruffian). Instantly destroyed their Sage DPS in 3 GCDs. Retreat come back. Another down.

Now starts the 10 extra pages of off topic discussions which is the fate of every thread about either a suggesting a class being nerfed, team ranked, solo ranked, x is op, or x is weak.

If it’s just for pure PvP, choose Cybertech or Biochem.
Cybertechnicians create grenades which are useful in PvP (such as an extra stun, slowing, etc). Biochem scientists make reusable medpacks and stims (can only be used by Biochem, but there are non reusables which are good for non Biochem).

The game is true in the fact that you CAN play the way you want and get gear (dissembling lesser gear from PvP and using the fragments, daily chests and weekly chests, rewards from conquest by PvPing). Doesn’t mean it’s as fast as doing other content (daily OPs, MM FPs).
I loved this expansion because I’m a hybrid player (PvE, PvP, and GSF) so playing anything I want while getting gear was great.
The only problem I have right now is with Armormech requiring both Slicing and Scavenging to craft (and the horrible conversion rates for Jawa Junk from Slicing).

If you want to have a good challenge in your PuG leading skills then it’s good fun. Especially if you’re a DPS. You have to make sure the people in your group are willing to learn and do listen to your corrections/advice.

The yellowish area click things don’t even bother me anymore. Takes me like 15 seconds to find them all and move on; when Onslaught came out it took me 10 minutes.
Mek-Sha’s level design is good IMO. It’s a small abandoned port that was changed to become a home to pirates, smugglers, slavers, and all walks of life. In that aspect it does good. The disorganized area layout, tight corridors, all roads leading back to the cantina. Connected by bridges and kept alive by a small skeleton crew. PvP there was fun, you’d basically turn a corridor and run into someone who was equally surprised to see you.
Most of this post is just unjustified complaining, The Height of Corporate Responsibility isn’t even a main storyline and can basically be ignored unless you are a completionist. The quest doesn’t even give anything good but good dialogue.

The one that makes Concentrated Slice burn the target for PvE (Says it’s for Sent but works for Guardian too) maybe the refresh on Concentrated Slice on Riposte.

Yeah but after you use that charge it doesn’t recharge the second one as far as I know. Maybe I wasn’t paying attention enough.

Nah. You have to go to the community for balance caus Bioware is even dumber. It's just that some community members have more valid points than others....
I mean if you're gonna call for nerfs than call them for the the **** that actually needs to be nerfed. Countermeasures speed. Entrench root immunity and speed. Phasewalk.
I think he meant that the community cant agree on nerfs which makes it harder for BioWare to act on them. Some thing that Deception is fine, while others say they aren’t. They also have to account if it’s just a whiner or an actual complaint.

I do not enjoy the difficulty bump, I am on the verge of canceling, I haven't logged in once this week. I am waiting to see if any more content comes out for the winter break. If so I'll stick around otherwise I'm gone.
I am a solo player that doesn't mind having to use all my abilities. However there are Heroic 2s that I use my CC, heroic moment with 8 classes, and the unity buff. Yet still manage to die because Trash respawns before I can kill the boss in a Heroic 2. After it took an increased amount of time to get there.
On top of that I am having difficulty doing my conquest objectives. Previously i'd do it on 5 characters a week just playing the game and having fun. Now I am having to struggle and figure out how to get it completed for 1. Which isn't the way I want to play.
If it’s the Mek-Sha one then just defeat the Slave Merchant and everything despawns.

Hey folks,
Season 12 wasn't supposed to start today, as others have alluded to in the thread Season 12 is targeted to begin in December with 6.0.2. I am looking into why it kicked on and what happens next to ensure this Season starts as intended and that rewards from S11 are all triggered properly.
I will report back when I have more info.

While you’re looking at this, could you possibly forward a suggestion to make Ranked tokens legacy-bound for Season 12? It would be appreciated in the Ranked community.
