  1. That will last for 1.5 seconds. In the most recent stream, the Devs stated that spreading dots will NOT refresh the cooldown on them. Let's look at this situation that this causes: Jugg uses Shatter > Applies 12s dot Jugg uses Impale > Applies 6 second dot. 10.5 seconds left on shatter Dot. Jugg uses Force Scream > Applies 6 second dot. 4.5 Seconds left on Impale bleed. 9 Seconds Left on Shatter bleed. Jugg uses Vengeful Slam > Spreads a 3 second Impale bleed which already hits for crap damage. Spreads 4.5 Second Force Scream bleed, once again, a very low hitting bleed. Spreads a 7.5 Second shatter bleed, does reasonable damage. I understand that the core of the Vengeance juggernaut is Ravage and NOT bleeds, but still, at least make the bleeds more uniform with the other dot spreading classes. Inquisitors get 18 second dots, Agents get 24 second dots and even Marauders get 12 second dots. Yet the jugg gets to spread 1 to 2 global cooldowns of dots. Lol...
  2. If it's not cross server, and I'm sure it isn't, then I'm skeptical that it will do anything.
  3. With all due respect then, allow me to address your post head on, in a non-confrontational matter. I agree with you wholeheartedly that merc dps right now is on the bottom of the totem pole. Why? Because of a few factors. 1) Mobility: While mercs are considered a 'turret' class like their brethren, the sniper, they have NO WHERE near as much mobility as a sniper does. Comparing turret tree to turret tree, Arsenal merc lacks the tools it needs to do damage on the move. Their rotation currently is frontloaded into Unload, which is extremely easy to shutdown, whereas snipers have an even spread of damage amongst all abilities. Series of shots was LoS'd? No problem, snipe/followthrough, which then sets up for a quicker ambush/followthrough. Mercs lack of mobility should be remedied by defensive cooldowns, which they lack as well, which puts me to point 2... 2)DCDs: If you compare a merc to a sniper, they're like night and day. The largest buff to snipers that people seem to FORGET is the Unshakeable buff they get from their cover mechanic. This is a buff that a merc, in my opinion, NEEDS to be even close to as effective as a sniper. This is why mercs fail alot, not only do they share the problem of LoS with snipers, but they also have their own problem in which they can be interrupted on almost everything, bar the Energy Shield talent in the healing tree. Moving on from the unshakeable buff, as a sniper, in a 1 vs 1 duel with any melee, you stand a good chance at winning, with good rotations from cover pulse > running to 30m distance, Leg Shot > running to 30m, Debilitate > running to 30m, Flashbang > run to 30m, Covered Escape > Leg shot > run to 30m...You see where i'm going with this right? Snipers have an indefinite amount of utilities to evade melee's, Mercs don't have even close to that amount of utility and survivablity, which is their ultimate demise. A dead dps does No dps.
  4. With Early Access fast approaching next Tuesday, I amongst a few of my guildmates who regularly queue solo ranked are curious: How long after 3.0 drops will it take for solo ranked to start popping again? Personally, I don't plan on queuing until I get a full set of min/maxed and augmented with mk-10 PvP gear. And considering that I have quite a few alts capped for ranked AND warzone comms, I don't think it should take too long. My question is, how long do you all speculate it will be before solo queue begins again on your server? 1 Week? 2 weeks? Only time will tell. What's your opinion? Part 2 of this post, what are you plans for pvp when 3.0 drops? Personally, I think even after I finish my first set of pvp gear, I will queue regs for QUITE a bit until i can see exactly what my main class (assassin/shadow) are capable of AS WELL AS the other classes. FInally, with the decline of solo ranked from season 1 to season 3 as shown from the statistics of swtor-arenas.com, how do you all think that 3.0 will change things? Will we see an increase or a further decrease in ranked arenas, as class balance has been shaken up and thrown for a loop. I'm curious to know all of your opinions.
  5. That's weird. I can't seem to find your merc ANYWHERE on the ranked leaderboards. Hmm...
  6. I have two points about this statement. 1) I understand that offhands such as the vibroknife and scatterguns aren't actually models we can visually see outside of certain ability animations, but it still seems unfair that these classes don't get these weapons as well. My primary concern is the fact that I play an operative, and the offhand barrel is SPECIFICALLY tied to a Vibroknife. This prevents me from using any other form of weapon other than a vibroknife to transfer the barrel in this weapon. 2) I'm unsure of the technical difficulty this would impose, but I don't think I'm alone in thinking that having a Furious Vibroknife and using Shiv and the Vibroknife in the Shiv animation is flaming and on fire would look pretty awesome. Bioware pls.
  7. Logged in just to say: POT5 is most definitely a pub server when it comes to ranked pvp lol.

  12. Hi, Snipers get a passive called "Hold Position." It says "While in cover, ranged defense is increased by 20%, you cannot be leapt to or pulled, you are immune to interrupts and ability activation pushback." Yet in warzones and even in pve, certain silver mobs, as well as players can still Pull me with abilities and more than 1 type of mob has Leaped to me, namely the mobs on Alderaan that can be salvaged for the Bioanalysis skill. Is this a bug? Or is the tooltip wrong and we are in fact, NOT immune to pulls/leaps (Excluding Zealous Leap)
