Wow. I'm honestly surprised at the result of my question. I expected probably half-and-half, and it's a resounding victory for mechanism. After hearing all of you praise it, I'll go back and try it again. Maybe I just didn't give it a chance before (although I did all of Coruscant with my consular). Still... I wonder if any worlds will now offer level/level total synch-ups (that is, x/=x).

I've been with SWTOR for years, and I have to say that the dev team does a good job, and are very attentive. So when I say that the new level sync system just doesn't make sense and, for me, makes the game less playable and fun, I do not do so simply to gripe. I'm a subscriber, and regularly spend money on cartel items. I do this not just to customize my characters, but to give them an edge. I enjoy soloing heroics, as well as flashpoints (though those aren't affected, it should be noted) and generally keep my characters leveled up for the planet after the one I'm playing. Now, none of that matters. I will only have as much skill and power as the planet dictates, regardless of level or armor, or even weapon, and now instead of comfortably running through missions, I have to slodge through at the "right" level. Maybe I'm overreacting, but this bothers me greatly. I was wondering what others think of the system.

I just started a new consular since some of the changes over the past year or so. I was surprised not to see a lightsaber form with my abilities. Were these cut, am I overlooking them, or are they later down the line? Consular: Shadow: Serenity

I would like to add my voice to this. A lot of narrative tension and possibilities were overlooked when it was decided that Jaesa was only romanceable in one iteration. Having the option to romance her as a light side character is simply criminal in its' absence. Please Bioware, bring her voice actor on board once again and give us an ever-more improved story-based game.

I've noticed that Revan Reborn Mask clips with every hooded gear worn except the RR chestplate. I'd really like to see that fixed, especially given how hard it is to get one : (

I now have a full set of Marka Ragnos gear. I want to trade this for RR pieces: Mask (negotiable), greaves, belt, and boots. I also have other CM armor sets that I can supplement this with. Respond here if you're interested. *Addendum: Just checked and am missing bracers for Marka Ragnos, but all other parts are there.

Hi. I've been trying to get the RR set of armor ( and maybe the orignal Revan Mask) completed. I'm halfway there, simply from opening Pilgrim's/Initiates Hypercrates back when those were in rotation on the Cartel Market. I don't have the millions needed to buy the items off GTN, so I'm posting here to try and see if I can barter with other members on our server. Basically what I want to do is trade hypercrates or crates (or other Cartel Items) for the needed parts. I can afford to buy ~3-4 hypercrates (and the person making the trade gets to pick which one(s). The items I need are: RR Mask, RR Belt, RR Greaves, and RR boots. I understand that the mask will be expensive, but I'm also hoping that I can get at least a few of the other parts with one hypercrate in trade. Please post here if you're interested, and don't be afraid to haggle

Okay... I can invest in that cartel slot machine, and I can afford to give out maybe 3-4 hypercrates, though that will take all my cartel money. Thanks I'll post over in Ebon Hawk and see if I can get some trades working while getting the slot machine operational. Thanks everyone I don't know if I'll manage it, but I think I've got a better chance now.

Yeah, Reborn is my goal right now, though the classic set is something I'm going to look towards getting as well. I'm on the Ebon Hawk server, and I'm offerring whoever is willing to trade the parts to me their choice of crate. I've sold the extra stuff from the old hypercrates I was opening trying to get the RR set, but I've not gotten the millions needed to buy the items over the GTN Which pack has the Revan items in it?

Okay, I've not found the slot machine yet, but I have been trying to trade hypercrates. Not having much luck. Thought maybe I'd post here and see if anyone's interested. My proposal: Need helmet, belt, greaves, and boots. Willing to trade a hypercrate for helmet alone, as well onc for more than one of the other pieces, or two regular crates for one piece. I think that's a good deal... : ?

Huh. Haven't encountered the Contraband Resale merchant yet, nor the cartel slot machine-thingy. I'll have to look at getting that armor though. Bit of a Revan fan, having both the KotoR games from when they were first released.

Huh... never occurred to me barter a hypercrate for the armor. I've tried offereing some of the gear that comes with them, but not the crates themselves. Think it will work? Also, Also, love to get this set as well. Lists it under blockade runner's pack, so I guess I'll have to wait for that to come around again Thanks for the info. I was worried that they retire the packs for good.

So, just like above, I'm looking for some info regarding cartel packs. I was recently without a computer for a few months, which interrupted my efforts to get a full revan reborn set of armor (I also heard there was an original Revan model of armor out there somewhere which I'd like to get my hands on, but I digress.) Anyway, my conundrum is that now that I'm able to access SWTOR again, the pilgrim's/initiate pack is just... gone, and I only have have half of the parts for the armor. I know I can probably buy it over the galactic exchange, but I'm not flush with enough credits for that. So... am I overlooking the pack? If not, are there alternatives? Thanks in advance for any replies

Question: I'm subscriber so I've got early access to the the new starfighters.... but I can't find it! The message sent to my mail said there would be an icon showing where to go, but I've not seen one. Not on the Fleet, not on my faction homeworld, not on my current class mission world. Anybody else having these same troubles?
