  1. Wow this is like what, the 3rd time in the past few weeks? Completely unacceptable for a game that most of us pay a subscription fee to play.
  2. Many people were looking forward to getting ultimate comm drops. It's not our fault that the servers can't handle 16-man groups. I think it's only fair to the players that ultimate comm drops be instituted in 8-man group finder until the issue is resolved.
  3. Or did Bioware just throw in the towel after 2 days without even trying to solve the issue?
  4. I think one of the greatest helpful tools that can be implemented for operations is numbered target markers. This could eliminate a lot of confusion about targets, especially for 16m ops and ESPECIALLY for newer players. Give us markers 1-8 or something, and if possible let us choose different colors for the markers as well.
  5. Once you finish Oricon, you get a set of level 53 gear (66 mods), but after you gear up using flashpoints and operations, where your comp is not present. Is there any part of the endgame where a comp with level 55 gear is necessary? The only thing I can think of is doing Kingpin Bounties solo. Everything else seems perfectly doable using a comp with level 50 gear.
  6. Tried Cartel Warbot again last night, got credit for the weekly but still no .achievement. Does anyone know how to get the achievement? I've heard people say you get it if it doesn't self-destruct. Anyone know how to prevent it from self-destructing?
  7. I'm a level 53 Shadow Tank on Hoth, with Tharan as my healer companion. I'm trying to kill Frostclaw, which is a level 47 Heroic 4 mission. None of the other Heroic missions on Hoth have given me any problems, mostly because I am so overleveled. I did another level 47 Heroic 4 solo(the one where you free the 9 smurfs), with very little trouble. Frostclaw destroyed me. I think I lasted about a minute against him and had only taken about 10% of his health when I wiped. My gear is reasonable but not spectacular. Mods are mostly 61-63, I have more in Defense Rating than I'd like, but I do have points in Shield and Absorption Rating. Tharan is specced out with 58-63 mods with as much as I could give him in cunning. I've got about 24K hitpoints, and Frostclaw is taking 20% with some hits. Should I be able to solo him when I'm 6 levels above, or is he just really this hard?
  8. For what it's worth, I would NEVER steal something with a respawn timer like a WB from my own faction. I'm also not going to make a habit of stealing WB's from imps either. I just had to do it this one time... it was just too tempting. You weren't there man... it was so beautiful.
  9. I'm on Tatooine in the Harbinger server (on my lvl 47 shadow tank), going through instances trying to find Trapjaw because I need to kill him for the achievement and Weekly. I find him in Instance 1, but there's an Imp ops group getting ready to go. I'm the only Repub there. We're standing around waving and dancing and stuff. That's when I decide that on New Year's Eve 2013, I am destined to be the most cold-hearted bastard in SWTOR. With no real hope of winning a solo fight, I activate the skull and summon Trapjaw. After a few seconds I realize I'm not fighting alone. The imps, as confused as they must be, are helping me. Some of them must believe that their Ops leader summoned Trapjaw. Surely no one could be so bold, so stupid, so evil to do what they think just happened. They help me kill the WB I stole from under their noses. We finish off Trapjaw. I take a bow, then make a fatal mistake. There's a level 25 imp flagged for PvP. I forget that if I attack him, I get flagged for PvP for everyone. It's the quickest, sweetest death I have ever had. Somewhere out there, there is a group of Imps that will never forgive. And they will never forget. And neither will I.
  10. So... for PvE armor, is the best thing to do just to get some orange gear ASAP and keep swapping out the mod/enhancement/plating as you level up? Basically I am wondering what the point of getting non-moddable armor is if every 2-3 levels I just spend the planetary commendations I have at the fleet mod vendors to get the mods at my level. It also seems to me then that the skill I chose (I'm a Jedi Shadow with Synthweaving) is pretty useless and instead I should be doing mod crafting (is that possible?).
  11. Now I'm up to 9 warzones with no win. There is no way I am so fantastically terrible that I have lost my team 9 matches in a row. Something is just ****ed up with the balancing in the game.
  12. I'm a level 24 Jedi Shadow. I've played 7 warzones so far and my team hasn't won a single one. Is this typical for Republic? I've seen people on Imps go an entire battle without dying. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I'm using almost every ability at my disposal, but whenever I hit someone it does at most 5% damage to them, but i've seen huge chunks of 20%+ of my health get taken it by a single attack. It's really starting to piss me off, I have no clue how to be able to hit for that much or what magical abilities those people are using.
