You all make good points about BH being able to use different weapons. In the Clone Wars series, we even see several Hunters using a wide variety based on their preference (Sniper Rifle, Bowcaster, Blasters, etc). The thing with SWTOR is that because of how BW designed the story, the BH character is officially a Mandalorian modeled after the whole Jango Fett/Pre Vizla style, and the most sensible weapon is the Blaster Pistol, for reasons that were stated above. These reasons of course being the mobility, the gadgets, arm weaponry, jetpack. The intent is for your armor to be an enhancement suit with many ways to deal with your opponent while you shoot them with your handgun. I personally think it would be cool to roll with a Bowcaster on my Merc just like Embo, but I don't mind the pistols, and I understand why they did it. Would be cool for more customization options though.

Greetings, my name is Rhyathus, though most people who know me will know me better as Ayamiku, Spectress, or Xanatos. As the title states, in the 2 years that I have been playing this game, I have done basically no PVE, and am interested in moving into that side so as to acquire decorations for my guild's Yavin Stronghold. What I am looking for, is which DPS classes/specs are the most forgiving, so that I can spend more time focusing on learning the mechanics of HM FPs and SM OPs, and overall enjoying the experience of Operations and farming decos. I am also looking for people who would group with me, as I gained a rather large distaste for PUGs during my time in WoW. My PVE experience in other MMOs is limited purely to WoW, but I played said game for about 8 years, and spent much of that time in a laid back Casual Hardcore (how I like to describe it) raiding guild. I consider myself a fast learner, and I have no problem researching how to make myself better at what I'm doing or taking constructive criticism/tips from those grouping with me. Normally I play Impside for PVP, but for the PVE I am planning on being exclusively Pubside, and have every class at 55+ except Vanguard (but leveling's easy anyway). We have quite a lot of people in DEATH and Ewok It Off that are trying to learn as much as they can to be better at pvp, including a couple who are rising rather quickly. We would definitely be down to get in on this, but I'm not sure we'd be able to get everyone to move to a new guild, considering we had to make a second specifically because of too many people. In regards to ranked this season, I think we're going to mostly focus on solo, but I know there are some who would prefer to do team ranked. Just let us know what you guys come up with, you can message Moneymouth (or any character under the Boss legacy), Zennix, or myself (usually on Ayamiku and Spectress) xD

I personally like the fact that quake is bugged to not have animation right now. All the lightning of Force Storm gets annoying really fast, especially with the sheer number of noob sorcerers who spam it in pvp. Forcequake right now is a cool green circle that stops node caps and bomb plants xD
