  2. Thanks for your constructictive comments, I hope you enjoyed the videos.
  3. Greetings everyone. I am playing SWTOR for about a month and a half, I had a pneumonia so I was offfline for a while. Anyway; nice to be acquainted, I have some really nice videos for you. Here are some really good videos;
  4. I'm rank 43 in 1 month playing time, so I figure I need to take it easy with PvP. But atleast thanks for showing me the good and the bad sides of TK Sage, am planning to make other characters. Guardian, Sage & Juggernaut, Sorceror seems nice, but Sentinel and Maurader seems interesting aswell. It will take a long time to level those characters to 55, now I am playing level 44 Sage and am willing to level it to 55 as my main regardless setbacks and difficulties. But you know, Helig you have a lot of patience. So what Talent build do you recommend? http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#600.3 I'll send you my build by PM.
  5. Hey I heard there is going to be Space PvP, which is something I support. but I have some other suggestions, why doesn't SWTOR make 1 map and it's like a country. But then with Cross-Server PvP and 40 vs 40, I really miss 40 vs 40 in battlefield and wow. That sort of maps give more room for adventure, but then you got to make it really big with 1 main road. We need more of those type of maps, like Narshadaa or something. Also would I like to see Battlefield/Battlefront type of Warzones, where you like Battlefront can enter vehicles, armored vehicles and spaceships etc. . So 40 vs 40 maps and Battlefront type of Siege, that's what I would like to see. I played Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, it had Siege Maps with huge sense of adventure to it.
  6. Yeah I did red/blue/yellow style in 1 fight in JK series. With the MMORPG's which I have played is there an issue of over-powered classes, my suggestion is to make all classes Equal to eachother and then have a Counter-Effect. Because what I experience now is that I get countered by plenty of classes, which is unfair. I need to be countered by 1 class only, everything else is equal to eachother.
  7. Thanks for telling me about Field Respec, I'll look into it as soon as I'm level 55. About JK:JO & JK: JA, I really got into the saber fighting. We used to disable all force power except force jump, it's done with Force_Toggle in the console. JK series had some fabulous light saber fights, am looking forward to playing Sage/Guardian & Sorceror/Juggernaut.
  8. About warlocks in wow. As a feral catdruid did I smash warlocks in 3 seconds, as a balance druid did I do death runs against warlocks. I tried to attack the warlock with ranged magic, he killed me 3 times in a row outdoors. So druid talent build in wow decides if you win or lose versus Warlocks, I figure I must learn from this. It's a valuable pvp lesson, about the stuff I wrote in the private message. I used to do chain heals as balance/resto druid, those chain heals were not affected by close combat. So as a balance/resto druid, did I defeat feral druids. But I would lose against warlocks, where the feral druid beats the warlock. So it's a matter on how you configure your talents.
  9. The Field Respec at Legacy seems worthwhile, now I got to focus on earning money so I can afford items for my companions and vehicles. I play on a PvP server Thomb of Freedon Nadd, thanks for passing me the tactics about snipers. I'll see what I can do, I'll be more mobile and perform more heals. But now I remember, when I played wow as a cat druid did I defeat a warlock in 3 seconds. I think it's because I was high DPS versus cloth armor (light armor), so light armor by itself is not so strong. So I am not used to dying fast in PvP, I need a better strategy. Thanks for passing me some good Sage tactics.
  10. Thanks for the advice once again. Sorry for any inconvenience, but at level 41 did I attack a level 38 sniper outdoors. First thing I did was use force lift on her companion, about 5 seconds later was I dead. So it must be a damage output/class balance issue, correct me if I'm wrong. Because the sniper did so much damage at level 38, she didn't even need a companion. It doesn't make sense, I have purple items and a damage build.
  11. Star Glitter I read your post from the start and respect your contribution to this topic, you are a very smart person and you deserve credit for your knowledge. Yes I think that the thing I posted about PvE settings in my first post, I think it overshadows PvP. This could also be regarding Assassins and Shadows, that these people do very high damage because they are needed as DPS in PvE. Basically are Light Saber based classes more powerful than Sages in 1v1 & 4v4, that is what I experienced. I got wiped at level 39 with purple items by a level 31 Sith Assassin in Warzones, I lasted about 3 seconds. This, I think it's PvE related. That Assassins are needed in PvE because of DPS, I used to be guild leader. I remember making ranks according to Tank, DPS, Ranged, Healer, that each (core) Glossary has 1 Enlisted Rank and 1 Officer. But that is for PvE and Assassins needed DPS for PvE, this could overshadow them in PvP. This is also similar to Tanks, but this is why I insist on Game-Balance. That there are Class Buffs for PvE, which don't work in PvP. That in PvP are all classes equal to eachother and that there is a Counter Effect, the Counter Effect should be part of a Class Description and basically Counters 1 other Class. Helig I understand that I am just a a Padawan with this game and that you are teaching me, this is a principle of Star Wars. That each Sith Lord has an Apprentice and each Jedi Master has a Padawan, but the thing is that I already was a Jedi Master in JK: JO & JK: JA. I taught members of my Clan in both Light/Dark/Saber, but with SWTOR am I new to being a Sage. So I figure that I'm a Padawan, in-game have I already received the title master and I got the costume to go with the title. But I like the title Jedi, because I am still new to the game. But hey, after reading this topic, did I think that I really needed to change my attitude towards Sage PvP. Of course would I role Seer when at higher levels, but I needed damage build to go on missions. It's really fun, I can wipe 5 NPC's in 2 tricks.
  12. OK thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it. But you know I think that SWTOR is a Master Piece, it's just that Sages with Light Armor die really quick in PvP. I'm not used to that, I'm used to playing Druid in wow. I made 75,000 Honorable kills in 1 year in wow, in SWTOR did I made 1102 player kills in 23 days and I am at rank 39 almost 40. But thanks for clearing up any questions I had about PvP, I think I understand it now. In PvP do classes with Light Sabers do huge amounts of damage versus Light Armor, so my personal opinion would be to give Sages a selfcast shield and better selfcast heal to make Sages more effective in 1v1 & 4v4.
  13. I got wasted really fast at level 39 with purple items by a level 31 in Warzones, it doesn't make sense.
  14. I believe in freedom of speech, that's why I started this topic. But yes, In PvP I died very fast in 1v1 & 4v4. I found it disturbing, so I posted some stuff about it on the forums, it is just my personal opinion which I want to share with the forums. At least is it nice to have some people who support constructive comments, but anyway I 've been thinking about the game. I read a lot about Sith, I played Episode IV, Rogue Squadron, Episode I Racer, Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds, Jedi Knight Jedi Outcast, Jedi Knight Jedi Academy, Battlefront and Star Wars the Old Republic. I am new to SWTOR, but I already was a Jedi Master in JK: JO and JK: JA. I chose for Sage because of long range spellcasters, this is what I was used to in wow. I would like to play Jedi Sage, Jedi Guardian and Sith Sorceror and Sith Juggernaut, I am waiting for unlocks on species. I should get some info on that, thanks for the replies.
