My sugestion? fix sabre reflect so it does not deflect while active, its annoying when i want to reflect something and i get a deflect ( im a tank ) and because of that i end up loosing aggro, also i would love it to provide cc inmunity during its duration, we are the only tank that doesnt have that. ( it feels stupid when i reflect the damage from a stun but i get stunned anyways )
  2. See this is where they could use the legacy system, they could enable us to customize our characters with our legacy

     

    A.K.A, you have an inquisitor? ok then you get to change force push with lightning push

    you have a knight and a warrior? change force stasis to force choke

     

    Stuff like that.

  3. 1. I feel that my class is perceived by others as it would have no identity other than having intercede, i think ppl know that my beloved jug doesnt have anything "unique" to it and everything that a jug does another class can do it better.

     

    2. I feel that my jug is missing something i play as a tank and i think ive said this more than enough in the past but i feel as if my jug was a low class sith outside some cutscenes and its reliance on white damage its a curse in pvp.

Worst part of this is reading Devs in previous QA saying that White damage does more damage because it can be mitigated so acording to that logic juggs should be the hardest hitting tank but hey you know what? we arent, and those of you who think that ppl shouldnt whine about this think this, the game is

     

    a) not limited to pve

    b) not limited to group content

    c) Not balanced.

    Care to explain what those reasons might be? It doesn't really matter because of a point I will make later, but I'm curious.

     

    Assault and Sundering assault, mostly because i spam those in pve and i dont use them as much in pvp, if every attack would have retaliation i would loose burst in pvp. still my problem is that i spam 3 buttons all the time aside from my rotation and as i said i have way too many binds and i would like to take retaliation from the "spameable" position it is now.

     

    That is one element of the skill required to play an MMO, it is not the only element. Either way, binding 2 attacks to 1 key removes the part about knowing what to use because with this macro, the script does that part for you. The macro would essentially decide "he's attacking this target and I have the rage/proc to use Retaliation so now is a good time to use it." Without the player's direct input.

     

    First the macro would not decide to use it or not, the macro would tell the game to use it nothing more nothing less. If you play a tank you would know that its up all the time so you basically use it as soon as its off cooldown having it macroed would free me the slot.

     

    Yeah, pressing buttons to do what you want to do in a video game sure is annoying....

     

    It is when you are spaming them, if it would be up to me i rather much have a less spammy rotation.

     

    I know how to script and could write an AutoHotkey script to do the things you want to do...were I so inclined.

    However I am not so inclined, as I enjoy pressing the buttons for the skills I want to use, when I want to use them.

     

    And now for the point I promised to make earlier:

    2 of the 3 features you have requested are clear violations of the ToS set forth by EA/BW. Their policy on macros/scripts, whether they are software or hardware based is this: 1 button for 1 action.

     

    1 button to use Vicious Slash (or whatever) followed by Retaliation would be 1 button for 2 actions.

    1 button to guard your ally and taunt his attacker would be 1 button for 2 actions.

    Mouseover macros are the third, and the only one I'd be ok with them adding.

     

    Nice but thats in there so that ppl dont take advantage of 3rd party programs or keyboards with macroing capabilities ( wich i never used in a game ) I play by the rules that the game sets. Still i would like to have macros they do really make up for things that devs usually dont see, they even help to raise the skill cap because ppl start using things that they would normally wont use because its "too complicated" if you make things more accesible ppl will use them more. If you want examples you should see how many juggs use Intercede to actually help a player rather than simply moving themselfs, if you provide them with a intercede target of target or a intercede mouseover macro they will use it more.

    Macros are there to help you respond more effectibly to what you see, skill on this games is based on reading information and reacting to it, if you think that clicking faster than someone or performing a sequense of commmands in a certain order than another person is skill you should go play dance dance revolution or a FPS.

     

    Edit: the only things i want to macro in the likes of two abilities in one button are retaliation ( off gcd ) and taunt ( off gcd ) i am not in favor of skill sequences nor priority based macros.

  6. This is also a perfect example of how macros take away an element of skill. It requires greater awareness and reflexes to recognize when Retaliation/Riposte is able to be used and press the key than it does to simply bind it to the end of all your attacks and watch it use itself whenever possible. As for acquiring your target's target, there is already an available keybind that allows this, and focus targets allow you to maintain targeting on both at once.

     

    First things first, i said some of my attacks not all of them, there is a reason for that. Second, skill is about to know what to use and how to use in the right time not over clicking but hey, thats skill for me, i know about target of target i know how to focus and i know how to do all this stuff without the need of macros, macros are there to do your life easier, the fact that i need to target the target of my target in order to guard him is annoying and takes away at least 1 second wich i could use to press another thing.

     

    Currently its annoying to have to click on an ally use intercede guard him and then taunt his attacker. with macros i could simply taunt attacker + guard my ally and then use a mouseover macro to intercede him while i keep attacking his attacker. also as a warrior i NEED to remove some suff from my bars cuz i have way too many binds and i need to free some slots.

     

    If you feel you are in a disadvantage cuz you dont know how to script i can tell you that most games that allow macros usually have a post on their forums (stickied) with the most common and usefull macros.

As a Sith warrior i cant wait for macros, i really need to remove intervine from my keybindings and consolidate it with charge with a mouseover that changes depending if the target is friendly or hostile. and of course i want to add a retaliation after some of my attacks without the need to smash it all the time but more importantly i want to be able to macro to target an oponent and guard HES current target while taunting him at the same time :D
  8. Well it's nice to see that most of the Juggernauts are happy with their changes. See as how Assassin's got absolutely demolished with the nerf bat. Then the hammer. Then with the bat again for good measure. (One for Dark charge healing, one for dark charge armor, and one for lightning healing. Go BioWare!)

     

    you read the same forums as i do? not a single tank is happy with the underserved damage nerf

  9. I still feel really good about the changes that are being made. But I do agree you guys make valid points about the lack of a need for a DPS nerf. Though I think the DPS nerf wont make a huge difference in total DPS or hitting enrage timers.

     

    For those of you that know the fights we should do an EC HM run this weekend on the PTS and see how it effects us in the field.

     

    you also need to understand that it kills immortal for pvp, we had little damage, now we have almost none and its all white so it can be parried shielded dodged and on top of that we need to be at melee range.

  10. I did fail to take that 6% in. Was that in the patch notes or just from user experience for the 6%? If we did get a 6% total damage nerf then I agree that's not needed at all.

    Edit: oh you mean by the talent point from saber mastery right>?

     

    yes, it was a must for all tanks.

  11. So bt is basically a lame 2 second useless ability? I don't need to stop the 500 dmg a hammer shot or sabre swing will do. That's just useless.

     

    Pretty much, we have beeing asking for it to be more usefull since day 1

  12. Do you have a source for these numbers? I am going to go on the public test server tonight naked and see what the tool tip displays. Sadly I am at work now.

     

    if these numbers are correct however according to torhead the current damage for full armor stacks is 1590 - 1860. So on average 1725. Assuming your numbers are right that would bring it down to 1035 on average (40% off).

     

    at 15 seconds a cool down that is 69 DPS per second over the normal 115 DPS. So basically a 46 DPS difference. This assumes you are popping guardian slash off every cool down and the target is full 5 stacks at all times.

     

    Which , to me, 46 DPS is not enough to pick one tank over another as someone previously stated would happen. (not the person I quoted)

     

    you fail to take account the 6% damage nerf on all attacks so if you were doing 850 dps on a tank and spank fight your dps will now be 750, and we already were the "low damage" tank thats about 36k damage in the course of the fight, might not be much but damage is damage and not all fights are tank and spanks so the damage of crushing blow is more noticible there.

  13. Was just in a WZ on my Juggernaut and I popped SbWd to keep from getting grav rounded while my interrupt was on cd. I hit it right when i saw him start to cast it and still got hit by it. This happened many more times during said wz and more wz's afterward. I didn't have this problem before the latest patch. Any thoughts?

     

    Grav round is a tech attack Saber guard will only reduce its damage by 25% it wont block it with blade turning.

  14. You seem to be enjoying the new Corellia Heroic. A bit of an exaggeration on your part however. At the most I get pulled/knocked around three times at the start. Do I agree that those mobs have to much knockback, yes. However its not THAT bad.

     

    well it only happened once xD but it did happen =p still i do get pulled and knocked back by the same mob pretty often ( plus cc reduces the effect a lot )
