  1. Literally disgusting, I HOPE its fixed/ removed asap.
  2. Yes, I thought of that, but here's the thing - I can't do that either. It shows as if I don't have a second combat style: https://gyazo.com/d83cf13ed8bec7d98acf17842424e575 Here is a screenshot of my bounty hunter on the imperial fleet, and this is what I see. I can't swap back, it's bricked. https://gyazo.com/46be2f8e46f1e0307077031a246d811e This is some sort of madness. And I had completed act 3 quests on my bounty hunter, by the way. I logged back in after a long absence, and I immediately took the combat style quest because I wanted to play a BH with a blaster rifle. So then it showed as if this is my one and only combat style, and it literally faction swapped my bounty hunter to a republic trooper, stranded there without a ship. And I don't see a way to revert back to my original char! And yes, this character was an Imperial Bounty Hunter - mercenary. Now it turned into a republic trooper without a ship, stranded on the fleet.
  3. *** am I to do with shuttles? Im literally stuck on republic side while im a BH and it tells me that im now a trooper. Plus i cant use my ship to fly anywhere because it tells me i dont have one. How are shuttles and group finder going to help me, exactly. My main is bricked.
  4. I stopped trying and logged off entirely, my char is bricked. But i will log back in tomorrow and post screenshots. My bounty hunter literally turned into trooper, but trooper without a ship and no way to do anything.
  5. Title. I was a bounty hunter, logged in after a long absence and did the quest to get vanguard combat style. The moment I tried to go to my ship I was booted to republic fleet (i was on imperial fleet), with an error message "you have no ship", and I have absolutely no way to go anywhere or do anything, let alone go back to my faction. Showing all my friends as enemy faction and me being unable to whisper them. Is this a joke?
  6. 15 mins, still cant get in. I alt and f4 first time, relaunched and have been stuck on loading screen for over 15 min. Joke. I hear the login screen spaceship sounds and the wheel is spinning, but cant get past screen.
  7. Is it just me or suddenly there's like 4x more players than usual? Yesterday I saw 5 fleet instances on Darth Malgus (which I've never seen before since at least.. 3-4 years or more? Or even before that?), with 3 of them red? Not to mention that even regular questing planets seem to be overpacked to the brim all of a sudden? Am I missing something here? Is there a new star wars movie coming out, or?
  8. Because WoW was first, people have invested too much time and money into it to perma quit. MANY players, myself included, simply can't quit WoW and focus on another game because they grew up with it since Vanilla - it's literally a part of our lives at this point, WoW is like a religion I kid you not. I play SWTOR when I burn out heavily on WoW like I have atm basically, seeing as it's the.. well, closest WoW clone there is in it's combat and the way it handles. And because I'm not into anime to play FF. I have an acc from Vanilla and play every single xpac, 80% of it at least, I kid you not. I have a permanent subscription running in WoW. It's incredibly hard to stop playing something you've played since you were like 12 and move on to main another game. Same goes for he FFXIV people. It has everything to do with time invested tbh. Also, there is content. Blizzard's main product is WoW, their expansions are the biggest out of any other MMOs, they truly feel like "Expansions" rather than big patches, changing the game, adding a buttload of new stuff. They have the budget and team size to constantly dish out new stuff, regardless if it's good or bad. If it's trash (like BfA), ppl will still swallow it because it's WoW. Same goes for FFXIV. Massive expansions, frequent big patches. Why SWTOR is abandoned? I have no idea. IF EA poured those sweet, sweet $$$$ in in it, if they just DECIDE to invest in this game again after it's initial poor reception, I am 100% sure SWTOR can shine and compete with WoW and FF. Polish the game, add new classes, refine the animations, work on the engine to make it better. Pls do it.
  9. Hey there, Anyone knows if I'll need to have played KOTET/KOTFE stuff with Arcann etc in order to access 6.0 content? Or can I access it on any level 70 char?
  10. Casual players don't need/deserve the best gear in game. Welcome to any MMO. It's like saying people who do pet battles in WoW should be given Mythic raid gear.
  11. I'm curious as to why some neckbeards are more interested on how I'm posting on the forum (referral link) and making a fuss about it such as calling me a "liar" on an MMORPG forum about something as insignificant and meaningless as this. If this is what the community is like, oh boy oh boy. Thank you for the serious and meaningful replies, however. I'll indeed have a look around the game for those 7 days while taking your opinions into consideration. It's sad to hear so much negativity regarding an MMO which once used to be pretty solid. I was frankly hoping for a more positive and welcoming outlook on the current state of things. It's a damn shame that it seemingly isn't possible at the moment. Regards.
  12. Hey, old and potentially returning player here. I'm thinking of paying myself a subs, I had a look around the game and saw the server merges and all that, but I'm curious to hear from someone who plays a lot what's the current state of the game? Is it "dying" as some people in the general chat said, or is it still going okay? Thanks in advance.
