Reality is there is a force sensitive droid race in cannon. They are made of living crystal are 100 percent mechanical AND use force abilities . Dig deep and you will find them. A droid race (with force users) is not only cannon possible but would be lore friendly to the time frame. And no i am not refering to the gree either.

Im having the same problem on Taris. They really need to fix this game I pay for this **** why isnt it functional? -
I use the Valor melee moves on my scoundral and opperative respectivly and found that they are actualy quite powerful if you stack your gear right. the stealth in donky punch to the head is awesom and seems to be working quite nicely Really with the right class you can have a great non force user melee toon and yes for those two clases you can use off hand without main. fisticuffs and shotty/knife
