never mind it populated after a few minutes

Is there a reason after patching today my server list is empty?

I didn't quit wow for ANY reason other than after the announcement of the next expansion. I believe blizzard frankly doesn't care if they make good content, and just tosses out whatever they think will reel people back in. I'm not a hardcore raider, or a RBGer or an arena person. I played wow because my friends did, and it was something to do. I typically tried most new and a LOT of free mmos. After several months in beta before launch i knew Bioware would have to ban me or take down the servers to get rid of me. Things that make people post long whining, or superiority posts don't bother me. I realize, just as wow has, TOR will evolve, and refine. I want to be here (like i was with wow), to see this game become the great game it is just under the surface.

no soul? no ambiance? I don't know about you, but i was constantly bombarded with blaster fire on Alderaan, and don't get me started on Balmora... i mean there's a war going on... there's ambiance enough!

The more i see GW2 the less i am interested... not The Secret World? Wild Star? World of Darkness? yes please!

THIS i like... how about even a percentage of time during the fight, the player was casting/attacking. So you could see what kind of downtime they had, possibly deciding what to do next. None of this matter to me really, as i try my best all the time. no tv in my computer room, just a wayward cat or two.

and GW2, The Secret World (which looks amazing), Warhammer 40k, Wild Star, World of Darkness (ok that maybe two years out), just lots of solid looking competition, i for one am excited by the future of mmos.

absolutely... heck in wow, if you're BM hunter target some with auto shot and walk away... no big deal. With tor you almost always get group pulls and those can be challenging with an elite and a few silvers in there.

I get where you're coming from, but most of the things people want from tor are things that blizzard learned from their customers to put in. Not everyone who plays TOR wants a group finder I DON'T... i don't want rated war zones, i don't esports, i don't want dps meters, i don't want a lot fo things wow has. but i am just one voice. we have to tell BW want we want, and if it's viable they will get to it. There are two VERY vocal camps about group finders.. who do they listen to?

fail-ING.. loss of subs in just 6 months is huge... if they lose that many every 6 months (outside asia as those don't count because they work differently) there will be a million people playing it in 2 years when titan comes out and fails. it'll go ftp by then.

no logic? it's my train of thinking on the matter, it doesn't have to make sense to you. I played wow up til about 6 months ago... i quit because i was tired of it, NOT because of this game, or any other. I just feel like Blizz doesn't care about their players enough to make lasting change, they just try to appease the local parts of their player base, to the detriment of the game. Yes, you should listen to your customers, but it's not always wise to take everything screamed about and put it in without more trial and error. Blizz makes a good game, but it is so far past it's prime it's sad. like a 40 year old stripper. and what facts? I said a fpsmmo wouldn't have the mass appeal of "normal" mmos. plus aren't their like 4 fpsmmos coming out? the glut will likely either kill them all or the blizz zombies will support LOLtitanLOL (egotistical name), or the best will rise to the top... time will tell. Blizz doesn't necessarily make the best games, just the easiest to get into therefore more "inflated" numbers than is realistic. They said themselves those numbers include all accounts (excluding non active) so free ones, trials, etc

Well even if TOR fails, you couldn't PAY me to go back to wow, and definitely not play a fpsmmo... not my cup of tea... Btw, blizz has been making a failing mmo for a few years now... FAILpandas on the way! I'm gonna laugh when the number one raiding guild in the world in a few years (if the game still has life) is led by a 12 year old barking out LEEEERRROOOYYY and MORE DOTS!

Inconsistent traps?! what you couldn't see the WARNING LIGHTS on the side of the fire traps, to tell you it's coming? wow, just wow. Huttball, when i first played several months ago in beta i hated it, then the more i played it the more tactics and strategy there was, and began to love it. And it's not like WSG, in WSG you go to your opponents base and steal their flag, here it's one flag in the middle, and you have to take it where? STRAIGHT into the lions den. Black garden is a ripoff of Mourkain Temple, almost exactly.. nothing revolutionary there. Warzones in TOR are great! Titan??!! LMAO a fpsmmo? that's for casuals? YA that will go over HUGE /sarcasm

the game has been live for what? 4 days (today is fifth)... i have made one friend (republic side), and as i stated before i am still waiting for my guild mates to get access so i cant very well run with my guild can i? after the heavy armor boots we said to be careful, and to only need on stuff HE can use..wait, i explained all this..some people just don't read a thread... /sigh.. i'm done here, so don't focus responses to me anymore.. i'm over it after a good nights sleep.

no problem, i am usually very easy going, and would run with my guild but none of them are in yet /sadsith for some reason i was really fired up after that incident.

as i said, me ok i should have said ... me (an assassin) and three sorcerers. I guess i thought in my mind it was obvious what i was saying.

"me, an assassin(describing me as with the rest of the statement about losing a sabre staff to said sorc), and three sorcerers" how is that 5? Also, he needed everything, he didn't win. Also, the first blue drop was heavy armor boots... we told him he cannot use them, and to be more mindful (in a very respective way), but he never once spoke the entire FP. I guess i will replace what i have eventually, i just think this is something that needs to be looked at. I knew i'd get some troll posts, nice to see it's not as bad as some other mmo board i can name.

I just came out of a Black Talon run, and it was me, an assassin, and three sorcerers. We had one guy who needed everything, granted i did eventually boot him, but it was til after he needed and won a sabra staff that would have been a nice big upgrade for me. I think the loot system needs to be smarter. I shouldn't be able to roll need on something i can never use. I wonder if it's possible to fine tune that at all. It's a little ridiculous that anyone can need anything that the OTHER AC can need. At least until we can respec our ACS this needs to be changed.
